Scott you stole the words right out of my mind! Far too many CZcamsrs seem to like the sound of their own voice and babble on beating a dead horse not only to a pulp but into dust. Dave, you and Brooke both spit it out and move on. That is how you got a million subs. Keep up the good work and never publish just for the views.

You’re a great narrator. I can listen to you talk about building a cabin that I know nothing about, but I find it very relaxing. I even built a fire pit in my backyard, just so I could just sit and enjoy the quiet like you and Brooke like to do at the end of a hard day. So thank you Dave.❤

I agree, Dave has a polish to his voice. Even if he didn't excel in school, he learned enough. His content is interesting and he is down to earth.

Not everyone can do this. I am regularly impressed with your story telling and editing. Lots of people have interesting lives, not nearly as many can actually tell you about it for more than 5 minutes.

For as few videos as your son Mickey has put out, he sure build up his subs fast! I love his videos! Both you and he have great voices for narrating! I found your wife's channel Girl in the woods first, and then she mentioned your channel, and I clicked on and subbed, and then you both mentioned Mickey's channel, and I subbed his channel too! 💞

Quality over quantity. That's what I enjoy and like about your channel. Don't burn yourself out because you think you need to shoot x amount of videos to make others happy. Having 1 million subscribers for the small amount of the videos you've posted, speaks volumes to what you are about! I have seen so many others whom I have followed for years end their video time because they finally burned out. Life got in the way and they made the decision to step back. Was it worth it for them to keep pumping out a lot of videos when it interrupted what was happening in their real life? I don't think so, and I really miss them, but life goes on and I wish them well.

Congrats on a million! Dave you're right about just starting a channel if you want to tell stories, share projects, or want to show people interesting things. Last year I decided to start documenting some of my projects, and my channel grows a little bit every month. I am still surprised that anyone wants to watch stuff about my cars and house project, but they do. So if any of you nice people have something to share, pull out your phone and get started.
Don't worry that you sound funny hearing your voice coming back at you. Its how all of us hear you. :) Welcome to the club of hearing you!

I learn SO much from watching your content...about videos and everything else Even content that I would never have thought I would like ...like building an outhouse ...I find fascinating by how your share it. A new channel to help other CZcamsrs would be great, but I would be even willing to join a paid membership group to learn tips and tricks. I always love how you break things down and make them easy for ANYONE. Thank you both so much for all you do. Keep doing what you do. And we will wait on the good videos...no pressure.
