Anchor Las 800-3 disc detainer padlock picked & gutted

- I've recently taken up picking disc detainer locks and have found that the Anchor Las padlocks are great fun to pick. Some clear, crisp feedback and an altogether well made padlock. A pleasure to pick.

@@Dmaclocksport thanks. But I’m like everyone else I get the hard locks either they open easily or they take a lot of practice days weeks or months. lol.
Great work mate. Looks like you're really getting into dd's now😊 little tip for you when setting the pick for the lock set the rear body as far down to the front body as possible on the first dimple. This will stop any excess slop when you get to the front discs. Keep up the great work mate. Really love your videos and congratulations on the 10k subs thats a hell of an achievement and tantamount to the quality of your videos 🤩👏

Lovely lock and nicely P&G'd, Mr D. Not managed to snag one of these yet , but I do have a rake of DD locks, including a few Abloys, a couple of Russian ones(?) and loads of the 'Aldi Specials. I have picked one, so far- pitiful, I know.😣
I do, however have some black ones- mainly for motorcycle chains.

The false gates really hang on to the disks. I have to counter the tension quite far to pop them out as well. I thing it’s just how the Anchor Las are.

Some Abloy DDs are brass.

They do hang up on those false gates. Sometimes I have to spin the tension ring alllllll the way back 😁👍🏻
