  • Tubular locks and what's worked really well for me single pin picking different types of these locks, especially the ones that the commercial tools don't fit.

My story with tubular locks is almost exactly the same as yours. Old modifications of this cylinder are very easy to solve. Not so long ago I got a tubular lock, but the opening process turned out to be not at all easy. From my experience, I realized that the driver pins are exactly the same shape as the key pins and this is one of the reasons for the complication of the opening process. And I also made a tool for applying pressure myself and for opening it too. And Im also cut off the forelock on the key too )). I just watched my story with this cylinder in your video!!!))) Bravo 👍🔓💯 You explained everything very competently on all points of this process. Very good video! Very! Your instrument reminds me of "Katana Peak"!!!))) Cool 👍🔓😁🏆
    (Sorry for my English language)
    Good luck 👍🔓

Thank you, I think your English is very good indeed, it was this pick that gave me the idea for the Katana pick 👍

Some really nice tips there Paul 👌,
I found the goat wrench a bit awkward to use & I don’t understand why they didn’t design it with a cutout to get round the raised middle that some locks have, I use a small Z bar tension wrench from the 13 piece Chinese tensioner set to tension most tubular locks.

Thanks for that, I never considered using a Z wrench but I can see how it would work well, I'll give it a go and let you know

@@paulg413 I have a video of it on a cheap tubular lock, czcams.com/video/rQQrTqd4l1E/video.html I will shortly be making another couple of videos on some 10 pin versions.

@BrettSucks that works a treat, great vid!, I've got a couple of ACE licks that need huge tension which nake something like the goat unworkable, I am so trying this later, cheers
