This game would be sooo much better if you could attach things to the horses and turn them into deadly Pegasus horses that shoot lasers. They should add this in the DLC.

What I would've done is gotten a control stick so you could steer the balloons over to the top of Dueling Peaks. Once you've landed there, reattach the balloons and flame emitters to fly as high as you can

Best horse himting ground is in the S and W part of the faron area.. on the ridge and S of the enemy camp.... i love the sounds dying horses make

Zion forgets floating blocks are a thing. For this WHOLE experiment. Yes, they can be a little difficult to get down onto the ground. But because you managed to get your horse onto these godforsaken contraptions, we know it's possible.
If you had used wood and flint on say 4 of the 6 balloons then about halfway through your ascent lit the flame emitters your flying horse drop device would have lasted much longer, also use stone when using rockets.
and more rockets doesn't really make a difference.
I can't believe the developers thought of such an edge case . . . and I can't believe they decided not to allow it. Oh well.

There is another way to hopefully get a horse up there. After getting said horse atop a mountain, try building a ramp so the horse can walk up to the island.

@@kennycarter5682 That's enough if you use the right stuff. The extra-tall pine logs, from the Hebra region I think it was, those would probably be your best bet. But I make no guarantees for any of this.
What about using the twilight Princess Link Amiibo to spawn a horse.

There are those Zonai platforms that stay floating in the air. One of those would be excellent to use as the base.

I’m only 5 minutes in the video and I can tell part of the problem is not having the right materials. Float stones+rockets are the answer. Like, the sky islands are too high even for a balloon.
*building the balloon basket with the flame emitters* "Maybe we could add some rockets for an extra boost" Oh no, I tried that, it didn't end well. The rockets propel you so much that the flames end up going down and burning the wood

Fun fact: you can hold up to 5 fruit and vegetables to your horse by holding them and it will eat them all.

I saw a reddit post about getting a horse onto the Light Dragon. It is possible to get there but maybe not on a skyland.

There are these “floating platforms” in the sky that are made of metal and don’t fall.. you should try using those
Those despawn too.
Build a contained platform on top a recallable falling sky rock, walk Epona up a ramp to the platform, and then recall the rock with Link, Epona, and the platform up to the sky. The platform would need to go 360 degrees around the recallable rock because it won't attach with ultrahand.
One issue is that recallable rocks typically go up about halfway to the sky, and they tend to stop at much smaller islands, which would mean that Link would not be able to ride Epona on a larger island -- unless there is a way to transfer her from the halfway point at a small island to a bigger island.
In the end Malanya had to intervene directly lmao

this could have been solved failry easy, just add fans to each corner, a handle so you can move it and land on top, and a rocket to get the initial booster necessary. but other than that i literally spit my water when epona just kicked the shit out of your balloon made thing and jumped to its death lololol

I might be wrong but I think auto-build builds don't time out if you manufacture from zeonite or whatever its called.

Pretty sure that the number of rockets you attach at once does not create more thrust nor more distance traveled. It would be better to attach one at a time

I would use 4 fans with your first vehicle. I was able to lift a Korok this way. A stabilizer might be a good idea as well. Rockets will help you boost up in the sky just don't put them inside your device. You should tilt the fans to give you an upward boost.
I wonder what Malanya says if you killed a horse this way? I don't know if she will say you killed it or if it died in an accident. I tried getting a horse into Gerudo Desert and it died falling down. Malanya considered it an accident.

Well I couldn't do it either. I thought the fan idea would work but my device was too heavy. I have tried hoverstones and rockets. That might work but it would take a very long time to get up.
What if you get the horse attached to your giant ballon-thing with a towing harness?
I think you need to watch some videos from other people for inspiration. There's a ton of ways to get to the sky islands more efficiently

This kind of novice Zelda video would have been fine in the first couple of weeks of May - but its a bit lame now (sorry for the pun)..Kind of expect better from a channel of your size.. but it can't have escaped your notice that your channel hasnt grown much in the past couple of years and is a bit irrelevant atm...its due to poor and sloppy content like this happening way to often. I like Zion but this video is lazy - poorly researched and amateurish..and deserves its current low view count.
