My favorite ELO song! Total Fire! Thank you, guys! Peace out!
As a child of the 70's Peace Out and Groovy Man! Thanks for the reaction.
This is a big song.........................it carries a lotta water.
Not only is this a great song and not only does Jeff lynne's vocals hits it on the spot this song connects you to the seventies. This song is produced for the 70's. Elo was the 70's.
Mate where were you hiding then?
Punk Rock.
New Wave.
New Romantics.
Ska
Synth.
They were the 70s fella.
Then there's Led Zeppelin. Deep Purple. Pink Floyd. ELP. Bowie. Roxy.
You have to be from USA; to say what you did.
Still it connects to 70s. Strings, choir etc. Some big headed rant wont change it :)
They are my second Beatles.
E.L.O., "Turn To Stone"!! Definitely more upbeat!
One of the best ELO songs. Jeff Lynne really knows how to write songs.
Beautiful
"E.L.O. doesn't miss.... Jeff Lynne, I love you" sums it up perfectly 👍😊
Do you gentlemen know ELO's violinist sat first chair for the London Philharmonic Orchestra?
I love there song sweet talkin woman
Great song!!!
💜Love ELO 🛸🎶🎵🎶🎵🎼💜🎼
The entire album is fire. Wait til you hear the riff in fire on high.
Soooo classic!
ELO is pure 🔥
I love this band and I really love this song!! Try Can't Get It Out of My Head....Do Ya....Evil Woman....Sweet Talkin Woman
You guys will love ELO'S " living thing."
React to it please!
Ryan nailed it for me. This one is a night time drive, play list song. Very mellow, kind of melancholy. It definitely has a bittersweet vibe. Thanks guys. Great review,as usual.
Wowsa! Gotta check out ELOs Telephone Line.
Like it too men, love to hear old never heard music, still good to listen again &again in a long year, all is classic comes from the different story of our life,,,how about telephone line of ELO?
Living Thing is probably the creme-de-la-creme of ELO.
All Over The World and Telephone Line will be over the top which y'all have probably heard by now seeing how it is ten months later in my world. As a boomer, I'm a late bloomer.
Saw ELO in Pittsburgh, Civic Arena 1976. I was 16.
I really love this one. 🪄 I hope you'll do "Evil Woman" eventually. #ViewsFromThe502 #StrangeMagic #ElectricLightOrchestra #ELO
IELO were a hit machine back in the 70's. Pretty amazing that they rarely get mentioned. This and Showdown are my two favorites from them.
It's been a favorite of mine for almost 50 years.
When I worked in surgery we listened to ELO full blast. I knew every song by heart. Great tones and great memories. Lots went down in that operating room.
GREAT SONG GUYS....ROCKARIA ITS ANOTHER TOO.. THANKS FOR SHARING
Reading your first name reminded me of their song 'The Diary Of Horace Wimp ' .❤
VIXEN..LOVE IS A KILLER.. MUSIC. VIDEO.
Ooooo...my *favorite* band! And what a beautiful ballad you've selected. This 1975 hit helped catapult ELO into Rock 'n Roll's upper echelon! Such a relatable song, too. Anyone who's ever fallen head over heels for someone, knows how it feels to be under the spell of love's unique, "strange magic". Can't wait, fellas!
Thank you!!! You guys are a hoot!! LOL!!
A newer, but still magical song by E.L.O. is "Prologue/Twilight". If you have not heard or reacted to this, it will blow you away. You must include Prologue, as technically they are 2 different pieces.
Evil woman was another great song.
ELO always takes me right back to MUCH happier times ……the ‘70’s of course.
This song is on my date playlist. Chill vibe.
ELO Greatest hits is the ultimate in driving music! You just can't go wrong with some ELO on a long trip!
Electric Light Orchestra , banda virtuosa compuesta por 7 multiinstrumentistas de original estilo de Rock- my fav band .
GOOD REACTION , Greeting , i see you from Chile, South America
This song takes me back to those carefree days on the beach at summer when I was eight years of age, with my little transistor radio by my side. As a matter of fact, most of ELO's 70's tracks do that to me.
I was 15 when this came out in the mid 70's. This is the song that really got me into ELO's corner. Evil Woman caught my ear but I thought this song was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever heard at the time. To this day hearing this song always puts me in a nostalgic place of the times, my friends, loves, etc., being a Sophomore in High School. I went full throttle and started buying up all their albums at this point.
Love ELO!
Everyone knows Mr. Blue Sky is the happiest song ever!! Love ELO!❤️
'' Evil Woman '' is the bomb and '' All over the World '' is so uplifting ❤❤
It really is magic. Fuck, these guys were so good and I'm now appreciating them even more, actually being there when there music was out and they were so fucking popular. Thanks guys. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love so many songs by ELO… great band!
Please listen to MR BLUE SKY ITS AWESOME ❤️
The second time I saw them they played a very small club in Colorado.
I couldn't believe it, we sat at a table no more than ten feet from them, just a laid-back jam session! Fantastic!
ELO “ telephone line” is one of my favs
I'm trying to get SOMEONE to give a listen to Lee Michaels "do you know what I mean". Soooo good!
🥹 Love ELO and their music. This song is beautiful
ELO is my favourite band of all time. Jeff Lynne is a genius musician and poet, the way he weaves lyrics and music together is amazing - strange magic indeed! 😉❤ 'One Summer Dream' from this album is wonderful.
ELO was big when I was a top 40 DJ. Go Cats!
Telephone Line is my favorite ELO song, but you really can’t go wrong
Nick, you got great taste for being into ELO. Jeff Lynne is a musical genius. Really hope you guys react to “Turn To Stone” which slaps! Other ELO standouts “Living Thing”, “Do Ya”, “Evil Woman”, “Telephone Line”, “Sweet Talking Woman”, “Mister Blue Sky”, “Confusion”, “Diary of Horace Wimp”. “Night In The City”, “Last Train To London”. Have fun going down the ELO rabbit hole 😊
Electric Light Orchestra: Album; A New World Record. Song Shangri-la, It will leave you with your mouth open
Roll over Beethoven nu ELO is a favorite.
Rocks !
I'm already experiencing some strange magic because of your incredible reactions. I love ELO and I love you guys! Great job!
"Telephone Line" is another sad one that you need to try.
ELO Telephone Line, perfection.
I like "Confusion" from the "Discovery" album.
Great album , fantastic atmosphere very visualizing very faireytale-like. Evil woman is also great. There's something in it that almost sound like a jetplane flying over
Guys, E.L.O.'s catalog is HUGE! Aside from "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Strange Magic" you have other ballads such as "Can't Get It Out Of My Head" and "Telephone Line", and rockers such as "Evil Woman", "Livin' Thing", "Sweet Talkin' Woman", "Turn To Stone", "Xanadu/I'm Alive/All Over The World", "Mr. Blue Sky", "Hold On Tight", "Do Ya", and so much more.
“Fire” … shoot, this is incendiary! It sure was a cool time to be an impressionable adolescent.
Off the same album is the memorable Fire on high, a 5 minute instrumental, a haunting intro and amazing journey of strings guitars, it’s ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 peace and love from the 🇬🇧🇬🇧
the proof is in the title F….I…R….E!!!!!!!
This is the second reaction from you guys that I've watched. I gotta say you are knocking it out of the park with your song selections. And yes, Jeff Lynne is a genius.
No bad songs from ELO. I hope you guys will react to Mr. Blue Sky, it’s a masterpiece, and also Telephone Line is awesome too, oh, don’t forget Evil Woman!!!
Saw them on this tour.
So young but music was and is everything
I agree Nick this band is a deep rabbit hole! I bought many of their albums from that era including this one!
Try "Can't get it out of my head".
"ELO - Livin' Thing (1977)" (Live) my family owned a skating rink and while I was in high school I also worked as the DJ (disc-jokey) which meant that my duties were play the music and referee and monitor the crowd while skating and playing games and racing. (Ring police with a whistle 😂) anyway ELO was always largely requested. Great music came from this band, one of my favorites. 🔥🎶✌🏼
Try “ turn to stone” for a more uptempo song😜
Perfect.
Living Thing is my favorite ELO song. I hope you react to it someday.
I love ELO!! This is one of my fav songs. Favorite album is Out of the Blue, fantastic album. So many hidden gems!!
This song is magical. 👍❤🤙
strangely enough

TYKETTO... FOREVER YOUNG.. OFFICIAL VIDEO 🎸
"Fire on High" will take you on a *journey*.
Wow I was 13 when this came out! 1975 was a great year for awesome music, this album, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, Eagles, Steely Dan, Dooby Brothers, Jethro Tull...etc. etc. I was lucky I had an older sister who played all kinds of great music that I wouldn't have normally experienced at that age, what a great era to grow up in it was!
Guys?!? I'm playin' catch up. Soooo glad you went down the ELO rabbit hole already. Lynne's genius allowed so many to continue feeling connected to The Beatles while being turned on to all kinds of new special effects and style that helped define his sound. Check out all of his co-writing gems right up through Tom Petty. Jeff is a beyond special in the singer-songwriter world. Production-wise, he continues to have the midas touch. Looking forward to more of your reactions to anything ELO and Lynne beyond. Love your response to the "la la la la las!"
Lennon said if The Beatles had carried on they would have been ELO. High praise. Have seen ELO they played 27 songs. 27!! Too good, they were just too good.
Turn To Stone is my favorite by them. More upbeat tone.
I would say this is my second favorite. Check out Mr. Blue Sky…my favorite.
MUITO BOM👏👏👏
I really like ELO, as they were different from other groups of the time, and this song was a nice change of pace for them.
Fire! This whole album is so good as was New World Record. Jeff Lynne can make that haunting melody so well.
Lads i only by chance met ye for the first rime today but appreciate that ye appreciate great music kudos ❤
Yep, Jeff Lynne is a musical genius.. and he produced albums by George Harrison and Tom Petty.. and then of course was in traveling wilburys with them.
Guys must play 10358 overture the orchestra really come to the fore.
I always thought that this song was more ethereal than melancholy. Now, THE sad song off this album that hits different is the closing track, "One Summer Dream."
Definitely on my playlist forever and always
Back when this band was popular I was more into Black Sabbath, Led Zep, BTO, AC DC....etc....this wasn't for me but since I'm older now I have more of an appreciation for them
You guys have great reaction videos. You gotta do a reaction to E.L.O. "Rockaria". Heavy rock done orchestrally/prog rock. It'll blow your minds.
As a teenager I loved ELO I still do . Most of my friends where into ACDC as I was to . Love YES and most prog . I was alone in my music tastes but didn't care. Try the first two tracks from the TIME album.
Yes, the entire "Time" album is a masterpiece 👍😊
Do yourselves a favor react to one of their live performances .. Mesmerizing
The live acoustic version of this at Bungalow palace is amazing 👍
Love your ELO reactions. Now you have done an orchestral, a rocky, and a ballad song. Time to move on to 'Evil Woman' which has a bluesy vibe with some funky strings!
38 SPECIAL.⚡.CHAIN LIGHTNING ⚡
.
Please try "Fire on High" from the same album. Amazing instrumental.
Another great video. Thanks guys.
Good 'ol juke box tunes and driving music. ELO 👍
Yep, Nick said it….ELO is one of the best groups ever; Jeff Lynne is an alien! Writer, composer, musician…& guy worked with some of the greatest artists in music. Add to that his collaboration with “The Traveling Wilburys” which was historic. These guys are kinda like & The Little River Band, they exist in their own category of sound.
Guys, anything, anything from their A New World's Record and Out of the Blue albums is eternally listenable.
