In this part we see the gang go about preparing to head to the place called the Sanctuary. We meet Frederica, and the Witch of Greed, Echidna. I also forgot to mention me saw an extra new character, that pink haired elf girl. She seemed to run away and led him to some place, AKA the tomb.
Beatrice seems to have some sort of connection with Peteguese, but of course, she doesn't explain that just yet. She mentions something called Witch Factor, and asks Subaru why he would kill Beteguese without knowing what Witch Factor was. Again, Beatrice doesn't explain, and instead points Subaru to Roswaal to have his questions answered.
How the how do I say Crutchs name? Who knows, maybe one day I'll say it correctly.

So i’m confused, you’ve read the LN but then you say you don’t know what the bunny is? Are you only a little bit further than the Anime?
hes only read up until volume 10 which goes up to the first trial.
Spoilers for later in Season 2-------------
I have only read up to volume 10, which ends at the part where Subaru returns to the mansion a bit after the completion of his trial. He then dies because Elsa was there for some reason, and thats where the volume ends. Sorry for the confusion.
Chappy27 Are you gonna finish Season 2 before you continue reading? I feel a partial blind reaction to the rest of the season would be better before you continue reading. You can read if you want to but you’ll just be rewatching content if you read past where you are, i’d say you are up to Season 2 Episode 4-5 or something and Season 2 Part 2 starts in January, so waiting may be something you don’t want to do.
I’m fine either way but a blind reaction would be nice. It’s one thing to watch an Anime after reading when you’ve forgotten most of what you read but if you read and then watch an Anime like a day later then it removes some of the effect.
Sirin, Herrscher of Void I don’t plan on reading anymore. I definitely wanted to have a partially blind reaction later on, that was my plan :). I was thinking after the first cour (12 or 13 episodes?) I would read more..but since I plan on reacting to the whole season, it would make more sense to hold off from reading ahead, so I can give a more genuine reaction to the viewers. So yes, I will be finishing season 2 without reading ahead. Thanks for the interest!
I’ll probably just read the novels after the season is done on my own time, to see any little details that were left out from the anime :3
