It's not the matter of them cutting dialogue out. It's the matter of them not having time to show it, therefore it's left assumed/presumed that it happened in the background or behind the scenes, as I've once said. And it's especially effective when it's not blatantly obvious that they were trying to cut something out and that something is missing. They just skipped over it, you know. They didn't actually cut it.
The reason they don't have time to show them is that Re: Zero airs on TV and if you have a show on TV then you somehow have to compromise and consider other shows and their screen-time too.
Yeah for sure! I hope I didn’t make it seem like I was upset or anything at the studio. I just like to share what wasn’t shown, in case anyone’s interested in that extra dialogue that they didn’t have time to put in.

Lol, we all wish it was Satella but our hopes are crushed, Emilia has taken the stage in her Envious state, hence the obsession over one person and all that. Difference being is that Emilia wants Subaru to look at others while Satella would kill others who he looks at, hence why she knew about the mansion as she searched his memories to find out about Rem and Petra and the others. This is why she switched from saying she loves Subaru to heading towards the mansion, she got her info of who he loves.
I saw Emilia’s purple shadow in her eyes as a representation of her obsession for Subaru, her Envy was for him, her obsession made him her target for her love.

I think you are kinda confused. The Tome of Knowledge is something else. Roswaal and Betty have the closest things to it, but those are still knock-offs. And Gospels are knock-offs of those 2 knock-offs. So yeah.

Haha, I don't mind your Roswaal hate, but even though Ram is my best girl, I still really like Roswaal. You can tell Roswaal's kind of broken himself, although I don't think we'll find out the extent of it till part 2 of this season. When he advises Subaru to rid himself of everything but his one most precious thing, he punctuates the result of this philosophy by willingly sacrificing even himself to the rabbits. Even Subaru's philosophy of trying to not let go of every single important person around him still results in sacrifices in dead loops, so I guess the difference between them is what they will accept as a "successful" outcome and whether they are willing to dirty their hands directly. Subaru's weakness may be an advantage here, since killing people is not even an option he can consider due to his powerlessness. Not being directly responsible for people's deaths is a good thing to hang on to if you're trying to retain your --sanity-- humanity.
I'm also curious about the last words Roswaal exchanged with Ram, which resulted in her having some sort of smile on her face as she fell. I have some idea about it, but it's been a long time since I read the web novel, and I don't remember the details. Also, a lot of things change in editing the light novel, so I guess I'll have to wait patiently for volume 15.

They did cut a lot of smaller scenes from this episode. I imagine since they wanted to end the episode on Subaru's death. They cut the OP and ED from the episode, too, but I guess there still wasn't enough time.
