Yeah the witch's daughter thing is probably just to instult Emilia but if she was a witch's daughter it could never be Satella cause Emilia's dad is the Elf and the mom is human so the only human witches of age are Sekmeth Minerva and Echidna

I'm wondering why Jeremiah decided to switch Emilia's insult to dunderhead instead of Nincompoop like ZephyrRZ did. Like... Dunderhead sounds like something someone would say if they were like a boomer or something, nincompoop sounds like it's from 400 years ago or something XD Though I might be wrong, I'm not the best at English.
@@defender321ful Correct! Authorities are not magic, so Subaru's and Pelteguse's unseen hand is not a form of magic. It explained in arc 6 that authorities and divine protections are incompatible. All magic, the cleansing of souls, and memories comes from Od Laguna. It is stated to be the soul of the world. But since authorities aren't incompatible with divine blessing is seems that authorities are something different entirely. Evidence to back this up is that Subaru doesn't seems to be depleting any mana when he uses his authority in the novels. And what I mean when authorities and divine protections are incompatible. If you possess a divine protection and then obtained a witch factor, you lose you divine protection as a result of getting a witch factor. Also Satella's shadowy hands seems to be her apart of her yin/shadow magic. We can interpret this because Subaru was able to see Satella's hands before he even encountered Pelteguse, and Garfield was able to dodge the hands and shadows that were attacking him when Satella attacked the sanctuary.

@@defender321ful Also since Subaru's gate is destroyed he can't expell any excessive mana he has building up inside his body. Once his body begins to hold too much mana he can die from something know as mana poisoning. So not only can he not use magic, be he is slowly dying as well. Subaru needs to find a way to help regulate his mana.
