- How to find your purpose in life.
This is a question that I have grappled with for the majority of my life, and I decided to make a video with my conclusion. How to find your purpose and passion in life are actually one in the same, as discussed here.
This video analyzes the lives of two very different masters in their own regard: Israel Adesanya, the former UFC Middleweight champion of the world, and Josh Waitzkin, an eight time national chess champion, and author of "The Art of Learning." Through highlighting the similarities in their journey, I hope to help illuminate the way on your own journey.
How to find your purpose as a man is illustrated here through two mens journeys.
Despite stylebender vs alex pereira not going his way, Israel Adesanya is still a role model and incredible person
The reason the editing in this video looks much better than normal is because it was edited by @AWLStudios
Make sure to check his stuff out!
This video will help you figure out what to do with your life, and is a video I wish someone made for me when I was younger

Hey, I know this is a little different than normal, but this is a video I wish someone had made for me when I was younger. Now back to regular programming!
You've just told us about how Izzy evolved it's okay for your channel and you're team to evolve too. I loved that you mixed something new 😍😍😍. Didn't you enjoy mixing things up too ?
And i wish someone showed me this a year ago. As you said, we can always rectify and put effort into ourselves, stop feeling sorry for it and actually do something about it, change what is in our control. Thank you for that mate.
Thank you!
Jesus christ man. Please do more of these! Relating the psychology aspect to relatable things like actual humans we know and love is such a perfect idea. Keep up the amazing work dude
Thank you for the kind words! I think I'll keep doing more practical psychology if that's what people are getting the most value from!
Yes keep it up. This was such a nice video
Izzy’s post fight speech after beating Alex saying “you’ll never feel this level of happiness if you don’t go for something” lines up with the last line about going out and finding your purpose. Great video!
It really does! I've got another Izzy video in the works too! Thank you for checkin out this one!
These videos are incredible. I cannot articulate the impact and meaning this videos can provide if someone wants to hear what you're saying. This is honestly by far the most concise, articulate, well researched and engaging content I have seen in years. This video has really got me thinking about how I can apply these concepts to my own life. Thankyou 🌸
Wow, what an amazing comment to read! I really love being able to positively impact people I never would've met. I'm so glad you found value in this video, and I know you'll make it my friend
These videos are really are just work of art. I feel like most of us have that inclination of what they truly want to pursue, its the self doubt and fear what keeps us from pursuing it.
Appreciate the kind words! And I completely agree! We are the only ones in our own way
More stuff like this please
Agree. So good.
You are probably one of the most underrated channels out there! I know how much work such videos take. Thank you for those videos!
Thank you for the kind words and thank you for watching, my friend!
this channel has the capability for millions
How is it possible that I just discovered your channel now? So interesting, keep doing this videos man that’s so good!
Appreciate it man, glad to have you here!
Thank you for this video, great work as always.
You're welcome! Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it!
I think my vocation is serving others. Dude this one is so good, I’d re-release it.
Great video as always.
My favourite part was the Masyery section at 6:00
Too many people are going through the motions instead of really dominating their respective fields.
Always great seeing you in the comments my friend! I totally agree, but as Goggins says "it's easy to be great these days because everyone else is weak"
To think that this video is available to everyone free of charge is bewildering to me. Absolutely one of the most impactful, well written, and outright beautiful pieces of content I have ever digested in my entire life. It so beautifully encapsulates the idea of looking for the activities that bring child-like excitement.
Wow, so humbling to read that! Glad you enjoyed it my friend, thank you for the kind words
@@PsychologyOfTheFight Of course! The world needs you!
@@madhatter2744 You too my friend
I can fully resonate with this. Inaithentic movement, thinking, speaking will get you knowledge about what you can't do and where you can improve, however you are putting aside your Ace of Spades. People say that talent is something but discipline is everything. I believe that a conjunction of talent and discipline in a dimension is a cheat code in life.
You just keep putting out banger after banger, with thoroughly researched insights on psychology. Absolutely love it, keep up the great work.🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
I love mma but seeing them getting knocked out cold infront of everybody just holds me back honestly
I feel that. I was rooting for Izzy but it was bittersweet seeing Pereira go out like that
Need this video because I'm about to start college and I want to be a UFC champ one day
You got this homie!
@@PsychologyOfTheFight Thank you man! Great video!
@@champ1159 bro hope is good but don't be deluded
@@jungkookievbtsyou have to be deluded to make it far!

You are very welcome, Timothy!
The videos was so well structured, i love it
Thank you! Even though it didn't get a ton of love from the algo, I'm very proud of this one! Glad you liked it too! Did it help you at all?
I think you might be predisposed to being better at certain things but I believe hardwork conquers all
I agree hard work and discipline are huge keys to life brotha! This video was just trying to shed a little light on a new angle for people
I’m done tryna ground myself in reality. I am and will always be unique. Different. Ahead of the pack.
Great one.
Appreciate it! Be kind indeed
Thankyou 🙏🏼
You are very welcome! Thank you for checking out the video!
This might be one of your lowest viewed videos, but I think it's your best one
Loved this ☝️
Thank you, it was mainly because of the editor! Check the description for his info!
@@PsychologyOfTheFight last time I checked the editor doesn’t write the script 😂
switching it up a bit keeping it fresh another great video !
Thank you my friend!! Do you have any specific requests for the future?
@@PsychologyOfTheFight I’m not sure to as what kind of topic it could be but maybe a ferguson or Diaz video since there isn’t one yet on the channel whatever it is I’m sure it will be entertaining as always 🙌🏼
@@radostin.k6811 Thank you for the suggestions! I'm thinking of shifting to more self improvement stuff, for Ferguson it would be how to embrace your uniqueness, and Diaz would likely be how to not care what people think. Would either of these interest you?
Amazing Video Brother
Thank you for the support brother
super video ❤🎉
Thank you my friend! I have a similar one coming soon about Dana White! ❤️
I definitely do not believe into kids natural inclination, not the way you presented it... In my opinion, when you are a kid you can get easily influenced by anything, I remember falling in love with martial arts, specifically kung fu, after watching a Bruce Lee movie at age 5.
In the case of the chess master, he definitely saw those people playing and maybe more specifically, saw them smiling, or kidding or something that made him think that they were having a lot of fun, and he wanted to have fun too. This is was create a passion, but doesn't mean they are good at it, out of 10 kids who fell in love with chess that week or month, he was maybe the only one to become a grand master... Because he was obsessed with it, maybe his parents facilitated his way, and many other factors... It is a mix of multiple circumstances that create a champion...
10,000 hours rule has been disproven and accepted as wrong by Malcom gladwell. The problem is that it encourages specialization too early - we need to try a ton of things before we specialize
Can't be long before your channel blows up mate! High quality videos , keep doing your thing, love it!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
I really don't like Adesanya or Einstein but I really like your videos! Thank you 👍
You are very welcome my friend 👍
Waiting for illia topuria video about self belief ❤.
I got you bro, it's coming I promise, and I got some freaking bangers!! Your support means the world homie!!

This video is an absolute masterpiece. What do you reckon your genius is?
Linguistic/writing creatively! Writing these scripts is a big part of my journey, and I love it! What about you?
@@PsychologyOfTheFight interesting! I would have thought yours would have been one of the personal ones, but it makes sense since you’re writing straight up gold with these videos! Mine is interpersonal, I’m trying to monetise it/achieve mastery through tech sales right now!
How do I find my natural inclination?
What did you like to do as a kid? What would you do all day if you didn’t have electronics to distract you? What interests you more than it seems to interest anyone else?
How can there be a purpose when dea th takes everything? Dea th takes away your life, your work, your dreams, your goals, your legacy.....etc. everyone who ever appreciated you will also d ie and you will be forgotten eventually like you never even existed. If this life is all there is then it's really pointless.
Death gives life meaning homie
This vid is amazing
Appreciate it!
It took me far too long to realize my purpose, but it is too late for regrets. Right now I'm still doing Customer Service, I'm still dreadfully overweight, and I'm still undereducated at 31 years of age.
Last year, almost mid-way I realized I was tired of being underqualified FOR EVERYTHING and tried to find a way to become overqualified instead. I discovered programming, data science, and analytics. I already had an analytical mind, just had no direction until I found something that pointed towards those. Right now I'm waiting for my Associates, then I'll transfer into a Bachelors Computer Science program that is self-paced, and then I'll probably go for my Masters.
I'm currently going for promotions internally at my company, but in the meantime I am slowly, but surely teaching myself Python every so often. This year I want to build some actual projects with it, at least 3 good ones that I can show off.
I took your advice and decided to make an actual goal. Similar to 2018, I wanted to lose 40lbs by the end of the year...but I had forgotten that goal. I reached that goal in 4 months and went even further. So I went from 240->170ish and then lifted weights until I was 190s.
This time I'm near 270 or over it after the pandemic. I want to lose 30lbs by August. I'll do that by training at least 3 times a week. I'll consider it a success if I can make it to the gym three times. I'll also refrain from eating out at every meal. This is my biggest problem. Not snacking, not drinking soda. I mainly drink water, I just overeat when it is entirely unnecessary and spend way too much money eating takeout every month, every week, every day.
It's you vs you homie, don't let society try to tell you otherwise; you're not competing with anyone else. I highly recommend the book "Atomic Habits," and implementing the stuff he talks about. Diet is honestly more important than working out, but they synergize very well.
