Lost on the dreary Oregon coast, Fran finds solace in her cubicle, listening to the constant hum of officemates and occasionally daydreaming to pass the time. She is ghosting through life, unable to pop her bubble of isolation, when a friendly new coworker, Robert, persistently tries to connect with her. Though it goes against every fiber of her being, she may have to give this guy a chance. Director Rachel Lambert and team craft beautiful cinema for this delicately told story of love for the socially awkward and emotionally challenged. The film is made all the more human by its lovely cast, most prominent in the penetrating eyes of lead actress/producer, Daisy Ridley, and the caring smile of lead actor, Dave Merheje. SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT DYING is an unexpected fable on the virtues of living.

This looks fantastic, Daisy Ridley's performance looks stellar. I hope we see Oscilloscope picking up more independent titles with mainstream actors or well known actors in it; for theatrical release.

Beautiful, poignant, quirky. The music in this film was STUNNING! And the sound effects were PERFECTION. I loved when Fran would first arrive at the office, and all the typical office sounds...the click of her mouse....and the office banter throughout the film? Spot on!
Hopefully this will be good and help her career.
After Robert Pattinson was done with Twilight, he dropped out of the spotlight for a while, on purpose.
He acted in several small independent movies that gave him a big role.
He did it to separate himself from Twilight and show his true acting skills. It worked. Watch those films.
Well, for example, she could be like Kristen Stewart, who in between the Twilight movies did independent films. But Daisy apparently only decided to do something after such a big franchise. Either way, good for her. But still, she's going back to the way things were!!!
They definitely need to work with independent film makers/productions. I’m not taking anything away actors but the production plays a huge part in the performance they get from the actors. They have to trust each other.
This was such a beautiful film. Daisy is so impressive as Fran; this is probably her best role yet. A touching, surprisingly funny, and meaningful film. Can't wait to watch it again on the big screen.

Why does this looks so good. Daisy needs to distance herself away from Disney and make real films with soul instead of soul sucking franchises.
The production also plays a huge role in the performance they can pull from true actors.

I've always thought Daisy Ridley was an excellent actress who got consistently underserved with poor writing. Hopefully, this changes that.
After my wife and I divorced, I pretty much became Fran. I still am in a lot of ways, but I'm looking forward to seeing this.

This looks great but this trailer spoiled a lot and basically told is everything that will happen.
This is a short film. No idea why they think it needed to be a full length film except- $$$ of course. It won’t be better than the short film. That’s perfect. And filling it up and dragging it out … why? Big name star and $$ I guess
Why wouldn't you wait till seeing it to decide that? Friggin--sail the seven seas if you're so sure. I've read reviews from people who actually saw it at Sundance who disagree and think it expanded on the short.

To make a successful film, you usually want to follow a formula. That's what they teach you in film school at least, and it seems to work.

It's slow all the way through which I expected for this type of movie. I thought it was pretty good and I don't usually watch these kinds of films only thing that caught my eye was the title and Daisy Ridley.
