    I'm very new to selling on eBay and have started listing clothes to sell in eBay, you made it very simple on what you use to ship out your clothes. I bought a few bubble mailer at Dollar Tree cause I'm waiting for my poly bags from Amazon. I'm a new subbie, great video, I look forward to watching more...🙌

    You should get a zebra printer for your labels. they use 4x6 size labels and will fit on that small envelope. I've printed over 7,000 labels on my zebra printer that I got on ebay years ago and it still going strong. The best part is it doesn't use ink its a *thermal printer* you just buy the labels. Best investment EVER

    • @RobSomeKnowledge
      @RobSomeKnowledge Před 7 lety +1

      And whats the cost of the labels vs regular paper? Because it requires a special thermal paper, correct?

    • @linkstale
      @linkstale Před 7 lety

      and it uses quite a bit of electricity :)

      I always buy 3 rolls at a time. $15.93 each roll has 250 labels. With paper you have to use tape to secure it these are just peel and stick.

    • @representing50plus
      @representing50plus Před 7 lety

      Not really. It's only on when I print labels.

    I place clothing in Hefty zip plastic bags before I put them in the poly mailers. It's extra protection in case the mailer is damaged and it keeps the clothing nice and neat. They come in quart size for small or thin items of clothing and gallon for bigger items like some sweaters, dresses, and thin jackets.

    I used to use the priority bubble mailers but now I always use the Flat Rate and Legal Flat Rate Envelopes. Cheaper by .30 and you can also fit smaller jackets into the Legal envelope.
    Another box I use a ton of is the Medium Flat Rate longbox and the regular priority mail medium longbox. the large priority mailing box is great for jackets/coats/suits/blazers and other big things. I use the 9x14 poly bags for all my first class clothing. I don't bother getting a 2nd kind.
    I just subbed. Always nice to see new people making eBay videos. Are you full time?

    • @uhohitstaylor
      @uhohitstaylor  Před 8 lety

      Thanks Mike! Yes, I'm full time. I used to use those legal flat rates all the time, love those too. I like how easy the bubble mailers are, I already miss them being 5.35 lol, ouch!

    hi, what do you click for the shipping for the polly mailers/ tyvek bags? are they priority 2 day mail? media mail? 1st class? or standard? im playing around with the shipping calculator and it seems if i were to mail a 2lb package in a polly mailer or tyvek bag to california it would cost me like $13?! is that right? if so i think ill just stick with flat rate. thanks :)

    I bought the labels at Walmart but only intended to use them once or twice. Now that I use them more I saw that the label printing website eBay provides prints a full page and it ruins the bottom sticker with useless info. Do you have a work around for that? There has to be a way to print just a selection.

    • @uhohitstaylor

    So you do clothes for a living. I do sports cards, but I want to get into selling men's shirts. But I do it alone, do you make good money?

    • @uhohitstaylor
      @uhohitstaylor  Před 7 lety +2

      ARGthePirate yes I do. I'd think there's a bigger market for clothing. For inventory...and customers. Just start small. I evolved into a larger clothing seller, didn't dive in to thousands of dollars of inventory.

    Do you used Tyvek mailers at all? What's the difference between that and Poly mailers durability-wise? I saw some people recommending Tyvek instead but they cost atleast 3x than the cheapest Polymailers I've seen. I want to know the instances where using Tyvek is more practical than Poly. Thanks!

    • @uhohitstaylor
      @uhohitstaylor  Před 7 lety

      Chickee Fuerman I have used them very few and far between mainly for their size (the usps free ones) but they're more wax papery, I've never had a single problem with any poly mailers and I ship a lotttttt of products over the last few years. A few have even sat out in the rain waiting for the post man, whoops!
