I'm very new to selling on eBay and have started listing clothes to sell in eBay, you made it very simple on what you use to ship out your clothes. I bought a few bubble mailer at Dollar Tree cause I'm waiting for my poly bags from Amazon. I'm a new subbie, great video, I look forward to watching more...🙌
You should get a zebra printer for your labels. they use 4x6 size labels and will fit on that small envelope. I've printed over 7,000 labels on my zebra printer that I got on ebay years ago and it still going strong. The best part is it doesn't use ink its a *thermal printer* you just buy the labels. Best investment EVER
I place clothing in Hefty zip plastic bags before I put them in the poly mailers. It's extra protection in case the mailer is damaged and it keeps the clothing nice and neat. They come in quart size for small or thin items of clothing and gallon for bigger items like some sweaters, dresses, and thin jackets.
I used to use the priority bubble mailers but now I always use the Flat Rate and Legal Flat Rate Envelopes. Cheaper by .30 and you can also fit smaller jackets into the Legal envelope. Another box I use a ton of is the Medium Flat Rate longbox and the regular priority mail medium longbox. the large priority mailing box is great for jackets/coats/suits/blazers and other big things. I use the 9x14 poly bags for all my first class clothing. I don't bother getting a 2nd kind. I just subbed. Always nice to see new people making eBay videos. Are you full time?
Thanks Mike! Yes, I'm full time. I used to use those legal flat rates all the time, love those too. I like how easy the bubble mailers are, I already miss them being 5.35 lol, ouch!
Hey how do you print out the shipping label? And like how do you get their information? Does ebay like email you their info, and you just print it out? Is there a way to print multiple orders at once?
Hi, Where can I purchase inexpensive shipping labels to sell clothes in Ebay Canada? Thank you for the video, it is awesome for begginers like me, I want start this week.
hi, what do you click for the shipping for the polly mailers/ tyvek bags? are they priority 2 day mail? media mail? 1st class? or standard? im playing around with the shipping calculator and it seems if i were to mail a 2lb package in a polly mailer or tyvek bag to california it would cost me like $13?! is that right? if so i think ill just stick with flat rate. thanks :)
Very helpful video! Is the link u provided for the 1st or 2nd option size poly bag you showed? Im interested in the size that you said is best for men's clothes.. You measured 9x14 but i cant find that exact size. Is it 9x12? Thanks!
Also, what is the measurments for the smallest poly bag u showed? Do u think that'd be perfect for jewelery that's in a small box? Sorry ive never shipped items before!
I like those sticky labels too, A LOT... but, then they got jammed in my printer a few times and I hate that... do you think there is a better quality over others?
Definitely! I've bought some shiny ones on accident and that messed up my printer, and the ink slipped right off! I've had good luck lately, but i can never remember the brand I prefer lol. Thanks for watching friend!
Do you have a video or can you make a video on how to weigh and ship, what scale your using to weigh etc... thanks 😊 I’m new to eBay and not really sure how to charge for shipping that’s the only thing stopping me.
This is the scale I use - and it works great for me www.amazon.com/WeighMax-W-4830-Industrial-Postal-Scale/dp/B001AKV422/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520191655&sr=8-1&keywords=weightmax&dpID=41FM5-K1TUL&preST=_SX342_QL70_&dpSrc=srch Follow this lady - she is awesome :) Suzanne A. Wells czcams.com/users/ebaycoachvideos She tells and shows you how to a lot of everything for ebay Happy selling & good luck :)
I bought the labels at Walmart but only intended to use them once or twice. Now that I use them more I saw that the label printing website eBay provides prints a full page and it ruins the bottom sticker with useless info. Do you have a work around for that? There has to be a way to print just a selection.
ARGthePirate yes I do. I'd think there's a bigger market for clothing. For inventory...and customers. Just start small. I evolved into a larger clothing seller, didn't dive in to thousands of dollars of inventory.
Do you used Tyvek mailers at all? What's the difference between that and Poly mailers durability-wise? I saw some people recommending Tyvek instead but they cost atleast 3x than the cheapest Polymailers I've seen. I want to know the instances where using Tyvek is more practical than Poly. Thanks!
Chickee Fuerman I have used them very few and far between mainly for their size (the usps free ones) but they're more wax papery, I've never had a single problem with any poly mailers and I ship a lotttttt of products over the last few years. A few have even sat out in the rain waiting for the post man, whoops!
Hi Taylor, thank you for this great video! Just wanted to make sure i understand. If for instance you sell a pair of jeans or a shirt using a poly bag, can you use the USPS First class package at $3.02? Thanks!!
+Blue Alice usps first class is by weight, most jeans wouldn't qualify for first class - over 15.9 ounces. But otherwise yes, you can ship anything under that weight, in poly bags.
Loved this video and how ORGANIZED you are!
That was a very good video and helps put shipping cost into perspective. thanks
Great information! Thanks!
Great Video, very informative, thank you :)

And whats the cost of the labels vs regular paper? Because it requires a special thermal paper, correct?
and it uses quite a bit of electricity :)
I always buy 3 rolls at a time. $15.93 each roll has 250 labels. With paper you have to use tape to secure it these are just peel and stick.
Not really. It's only on when I print labels.
representing50plus which one do you use?

Ups gives free shipping sticker labels
What brand are the print shipping labels

anny rr if you buy your shipping on eBay, it's up to 15.9 oz. at the post office, it's only up to 13.
Taylor Thank you so much for the answer, can you make a video on how you take your pictures for eBay.
whats your ebaystore?
cutie

balderoine yes definitely! I don't recall exactly, but it's under shipping settings somehow. I'm sure google could answer quicker than I.
So you do clothes for a living. I do sports cards, but I want to get into selling men's shirts. But I do it alone, do you make good money?
ARGthePirate yes I do. I'd think there's a bigger market for clothing. For inventory...and customers. Just start small. I evolved into a larger clothing seller, didn't dive in to thousands of dollars of inventory.

That's comforting to know. I'll go ahead and purchase my first set today then. I'm also tired of going to Dollar Tree everytime. Thanks Taylor!
The problem is that the free USPS mailers only ship to USA, and I live in Canada 😢
I'm with you on that one :( Israel Post Office should learn something from USPS.
Magical Unicorn our Canadian mail system sucks! I'm gearing up to sell, but the shipping scares me.
invest in a thermal printer.. saves you a ton of money. no more buying ink, and the rolls are VERY cheap.
can u link me to a good affordable one?
what kind of regional boxes? They have 3 different ones
DithsHauteSpot both sizes of A, and I barely ever use B. :)
Okay thank you
Hi, do you use a scale?
Yes I just use a kitchen scale, always have lol and never had to upgrade!
How you pay $5.90 for the padded envelopes? I'm paying $6.50 using ShippingEasy
eBay, top rated seller discount.
Taylor thanks darling
where can I get poly bags in bulk?
thalifechanga online ebay, Amazon
thanks, will do
How old is this video? Priority padded envelope is 7.75 as of Feb. 2020
leah leah eyster this video was made in 2016. And yes it’s crazy how expensive they have gotten! It makes me so mad 😠
can I ship priority mail using poly bags?
Yes you can use any usps service with your own supplies, but if you're payin priority prices, might as well use their free supplies.
Hi Taylor, thank you for this great video! Just wanted to make sure i understand. If for instance you sell a pair of jeans or a shirt using a poly bag, can you use the USPS First class package at $3.02? Thanks!!
