I always put the item in a clear plastic produce bag. I use the free USPS clear, self adhesive document holder to put the label in in case it rains. I always put a thank you business card inside. Pack it like you want to receive it. You can use the small poly bag for Priority Mail, just put a PM sticker on it.
AWESOME VIDEO!!! Okay, I have a question. What do you do for lighting with your pictures? I have observed the fluorescent shop light on a wall in a few videos, I know you have discussed how to build a light box and I know your are grandmaster genius at conjuring objections into lights/lamps. But in some of your videos you say there is not enough lighting. How many lights do you use?
Thanks! Turning objects into lights is definitely a weird quirk for me! I may make a video on how I do lighting for my clothing. But honestly I am not the happiest with it so I am not sure I want to recommend anyone else do it my way. Right now I just have a 4 foot shop light above and below the item and I use the flash unless I am up close to the item where the flash would wash out the color.
Best best best way is used Padded mail & boxes, Stay away from white plastic thin AND usps's priority mail in paper cardboard envelopes. Because they both are not tear-proof & waterproof, they will likely get chance of damage and torn mail package when received. And remember lots of tapes not just seal peel sticks package-tape when need it!

Very good video. You were clear and concise, you showed your products and showed us how to wrap it or put it in the envelope. You didn't talk to fast and you weren't goofy like some of the You Tube presenters.
I think it's worth mentioning to be careful when cramming clothing into envelopes because when ppl go to open their pkg w/scissors or knife, and the item is stuffed in the pkg, it's very easy to cut the item when opening the pkg! It'd be a shame to have the headache of a return from something as simple as taking a few extra seconds to stuff paper in each end, so when they open the pkg, the paper may get cut rather than the clothing!
I doubt it would fit in a Regional A box but if it did that would be your cheapest option. Otherwise I would list it using the shipping calculator, weight based. Once it sells depending on the location of the buyer I would either ship it weight based, or see if a Medium Flat Rate, or Regional B box is any cheaper.
I use padded flat for all clothes over 13 ounces- also use additional wrap . find it easier than using just a regular flat envelope. great video though
I just skip the regular FR envelope and go for the padded FR. I charge shipping so if they will pay $4.99 I don't think $5.35 will make much difference. It just looks nicer to me and it's easier to close. Can you still get priority tape for free?
It depends on your PO if you can get the PM tape. I go through so much tape that I just quit asking at my PO. I started buying some tape that is only $1 a roll so I figure its a small expense. Its worth asking your PO if they will give it out for free. Especially if they know you and a majority of your items ship PM
Hi. New to selling and shipping on Ebay. I need to sell a toddler dress along with headband (less than 2pds) how do I ship it? Do I use small box or bag?
Eyrie Tried to use Regional Box and did not see this option on eBay shipping postage choices (unless I am missing something ) I ship free and was forced to pick the Priority general option (not flat rate) and got a lecture at post office thar the label ebay printed out did not have Region B on label tried to explain did not see that on the ebay shipping options soooo finally he accepted it but said not again unless ebay shows on label the Region,,,,,,anyone,,,,,do u know where or how to get Region to print on lable????
I’m going to start printing labels once I get a laser printer but something threw me off near the end of the video. We can print labels for Regional Box A? What do we need to do then? Waiting in line at the post office for them to do it?
You can only get postage for regional rate boxes online. Regional rates are NOT offered at Post Office locations. When printing your eBay labels and you click the drop down for different shipping options you will see options for Regional A and Regional B
Great video! I was wondering, do you ever use regular flat rate boxes rather than regional rate? When is flat rate cheaper than regional? I usually use a medium flare rate box when I ship heeled shoes, and the large one if I'm shipping a long coat. Also, do you ever ship an item that doesn't fit in the largest flat rate box? What would be the cheapest way to ship it? Thanks in advance!
I think I have used 3-4 regular flat rate boxes over the last few years and thats shipping thousands of items. They are almost never your cheapest option especially with clothes. For the heeled shoes I would try a regional A box. If they dont fit try the USPS "Shoebox" its tall and narrow. You can find it on USPS.com. For the long coat I would try the USPS Priority mail box #7. It is about 12x12x7 and is NOT a flat rate it would go by the actual weight of the item. For a large coat you may want to try shipping it using Parcel Select (formerly known as Parcel Post) in that case you can't use Priority Mail boxes and need to try finding plain boxes to ship the item in. Hope this helps!
Hello would you make a video on how to pick the right price on actual item showing the computer options . I sold a.skirt on ebay and the shipping came out 8 dollar. the buyer rejected the item because of shipping price. I am a new seller and I don't exactly know how to pick the right options on the ebay shipping also I do everything form my smartphone. is confusing.....help Thank you.
+Ryan West (IIW3STSiD3II) Unless you have a side that is over 12 inches don't even bother putting in dimensions. The words or naming doesnt matter, when you do have to measure just do the height length and width. But which side you call each doesnt matter.
Last week I took the 12.5x9.5 flat rate envelope that was stuffed full and the lady refused it because it was distorted. I've shipped in the flat rate bubble envelope many times distorted with no problems. Do you know the rules on them? Thanks for your helpful videos.
The padded USPS envelopes you can order free from USPS.com and they are flat rate so it doesnt matter how far they are being shipped. They cost about $5.50 to ship depending if you purchase your labels on ebay (cheaper) or if you pay for postage at a Post Office (more expensive)
Darine Hachem I have bought poly mailers on both ebay and amazon. If you search poly mailers on ebay you will see tons of results. If your going to be selling they are a must have!
so what about the priority mail boxes that just say mailing boxes....if you have a shipping label that is already paid could you put it on that box or would you still need to pay?
The weight of the box and how far it is going will determine the price of a package in a priority mail box if the box is not a flat rate or regional box. To know how much shipping will cost you will need to know the senders and receivers zip code as well as the weight of the item. marcher567 I would either ship the item in a 6x9 poly mailer (amzn.to/1t2mP4x) or if the item is breakable ship it in a bubble mailer (amzn.to/1HlcWsG)
Hi meeeeen!!! your video was fantastic i learned a lot from it. have 2 question related 1-when you ship jackets with the regional A or B can you ship it all over the country but pay what it will cost..say i am in Miami and need to ship a woolen ladies suit to L.A how do i need to ship i?. or regional boxes are only for A & B sections? thank you in advance. Haim.E.
do you mean a regular gray big poly mailer it's o.k. i thank you. i have men's and ladies suits made of wool. your advice is most appreciated .Thank you. Haim.E.
Here are the poly mailers I buy: 6x9 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1t2mP4x 9x12 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1iQgRNl Anything that is over 16 ounces and that doesnt fit in a flat rate envelope (such as shoes) I would use a regular priority mail box.
Do you get the poly bags from eBay themselves, or someone selling on eBay? I have received bigger bags then these when I have ordered something on eBay, can you get them on eBay also? Thank you.
Great video. Thanks. looks like we're actually shipping the same way. The only thing I do differently now is use a clear poly bag, then the supping envelope, in case there's a puncture. I agree about the packing slips too.
Thanks! Did you have any problems with punctures or just being proactive? I try to avoid the legal envelopes whenever possible because I really just dont trust them much.
***** No, mostly for esthetics but, for a little extra protection too. Just the cheap clear poly bags. Good tip about putting the sticker on first btw. I really don't sell a ton of clothing, mostly jeans and shirts. Never any heavy jackets or suits yet. I like selling other stuff better, but sometimes I can't pass on super cheap clothing deals.
+hurkamur1 Did you get how the poly mailers counted at the post office? Can you choose the poly mailers like an option when you print the label through the ebay? Please, help!
Iryna Caro Acosta The post office rarely carries the flat rate padded mailers, you need to create an account on the USPS website, and order them there for free. When you go to print your ebay shipping label, there will be an option for padded flat rate envelopes. Make sure, when using the padded bubble mailers, to select "padded flat rate envelope". You can also ship clothing in the standard cardboard flat rate envelopes available at the post office.
What do I have to choose from online for shipping if I will send in my poly mailer envelope from the post office, but still print out the label with adress? I'm taking about first and second envelops from the video. Please, tell me.
I mailed off two packages the other day, first class. The estimated delivery day was supposed to be the 2nd, but that was the last day info. Was updated in the tracking. Is my package lost?
Great video! So if I'm selling on eBay but I don't want to put my home address on the shipping label what can I do? I know P.O box is an option but do they charge for that? How can I get one?
eBay has a box for it but you dont always need to fill it out. If all 3 dimensions (length, width, height/depth) are each less than 12 inches then you don't need to put the measurements in the listing. If any dimension is over 12 then just measure the package with the item(s) in it.
***** Is there ever an instance when I would need to ship a tshirt in a flat rate envelope if it is under 13 ounces? Are the poly mailer envelopes you mentioned also free on the USPS website? And is first class mail the same price no matter what region in the US it is shipping to? Thanks!
So you include the shipping in the cost of your item that you are selling on eBay. if so what shipping option do you select when you list your items to save money. I'm New to eBay. thanks
Hey thanks for the upload. I've got a question - (If I had a scale already I wouldn't be asking haha) I'm wondering how much a hoodie or a sweatshirt normally weighs? Would they be able to fit into a larger poly mailer lets say a 10x13 one and usually be below 13oz? Or are those primarily for t-shirts only? Thanks!
A hoodie or sweater will always be over 13 ounces. Your best option is to try and stuff it into a padded flat rate or just using a regional A box. The poly mailers work for most kids and womens clothing, t shirts, polo shirts and button up shirts. Pants and sweaters are just too heavy
I have bought mine on both ebay and amazon. on ebay just do a search for 12 x 9 poly mailer and add the quantity you are looking for i.e. 100 and just search with the cheapest at the top.
What would be the best way to mail multiple orders of clothing that will be heavy? What type of packaging would you use and would you still offer free shipping for that? Thanks!
It depends how much you are trying to put together. In the past I have been able to put 5 mens shirts into one of those padded flat rate envelopes. Your next best option is one of the Regional A boxes. If that doesnt fit try a Regional B box. If it still doesnt fit your best option will probably to just ship it by weight.
Thanks! Some smaller shoes may fit in a padded flat rate but even then I am not sure I would advise that. Your best option is a Regional A box. Boots and larger shoes may not fit. At that point you may be stuck shipping weight based. USPS.com has a long narrow box they call a shoe box. Depending on weight, zone 7 or 8 might actually be cheaper in a Medium Flat Rate. In the event you cant use a regional A box and are shipping weight based I would set up the listing with the weight and then after the item sells see which is cheaper, weight based or medium flat rate.
You can also order Priority Mail boxes for shoes. These are not flat rate, but saves you money on the box. And don't forget, all Priority mail is automatically insured for up to $50 :-)
What's the size of the padded envelope? Also, don't they offer Tyvek instead of the card stock ones (reg.size and legal size) now? Or are those for something else? Thanks for the video, very clear and simple, just what I needed.
The flat rate padded envelopes are 9.5x12.5. You can get tyvek envelopes. I have never used them, as far as I know they are weight based and not eligible for flat rate shipping.
Hi! What if you're shipping several clothing items at the same time to the same person? What boxes/bags do you recommend, say if the items weigh like 3-4lbs? Thanks!!!
If the items weigh 3-4 pounds your best bet is to try and get them into a Regional A box. If you can't fit them into that you will either be stuck just paying for weight based shipping or depending how far the package is going a medium flat rate may be a cheaper option. If you can't get the items to fit in a regional A try the trick in this post (struggleville.net/shipping-tip-suck-it-up/) you will be amazed how much it shrinks down clothes!
I sell 4 dollar tees on eBay with free shipping, my customers always tell me how much they love The quality, I'm wondering how you would ship a prepackaged item? would you just throw it in the mailing box and let it on its way?
Thanks. When using the regional rate boxes you need to print the label online. It cant be purchased at the Post Office. Either use eBay to print your labels or the USPS website has an option for the regional boxes too!
+Michele DeRusha/Morgan When listing the item the shipping portion of the page will give you options for flat rate, calculated shipping or local pickup. If you choose flat rate you will get a blank box where you can type in a total.
Can u make a video of the brake down what the difference is on the shipping packages, I did my first shipping and i could not understand the difference between all the different flat rate envelope and the bubble wrap ,,,,,,, and keeps going so I need a lil more help on that
I have a small playlist of shipping videos if you want to check it out, czcams.com/video/IXCF_kIOrq0/video.html If you still have any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer! 👍
Why would the bubble priority mailer be $5.35 and the legal cardboard $4.95? When I price my postage I just get the option Flat Rate Envelope and it does not differentiate the two. Its cost is $5.05. can you explain?
The bubble mailer is bigger by volume. I am guessing that is why it costs more. It sounds like you are printing your labels through Paypal. I dont think Paypal has added the other shipping options when printing a label through them. Amazon doesnt offer the other envelopes either. If you print your labels right from ebay, you will see the different options
I always order the USPS supplies online. The regular flat rate envelope may be at your local post office. They probably wont have the padded flat rates and they definitely wont have the regional boxes, those you will have to order through USPS.com The poly-mailers I buy on amazon. Here are links to the ones shown in the video: 6x9 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1t2mP4x (affiliate) 9x12 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1iQgRNl (affiliate)
Hey I am having a hard time trying to find a good scale to use. There are so many with good and bad reviews. I bought one from sams club the other day a Royal DG200 and it doesn't work very well at all. It won't weigh things under like 10 ounces. I need to find something and was wondering what you might recommend. Thanks!
MrSamuelivey The scale I use is over 10 years old and isnt made anymore. But I know others who have this scale (amzn.to/1mi29V4) and whenever mine bites the dust that is the scale I am replacing it with.
I have a question. I’m hoping someone reading through the comments can answer it. Say I’m shipping something through priority mail, and I use a regular priority mail box, can I crumple up and use a few priority mail tyvek envelopes as packing material to fill the empty spaces? Also, say I am again using a priority mail box, to ship priority mail, can I use the padded flat rate envelope to protect items inside? Can I get in trouble for doing this? I’m other words, would this be considered a criminal offense resulting in a misdemeanor charge etc? I mean I know not to use priority mail if I’m not shipping through priority mail, but I mean, in this case, I am shipping through priority mail, so why not make the free supplies useful?
great video, but I was told at the post office that if you ship in flat rate cardboard envelopes they have to be flat and cannot bulk up, like they do when you put clothes in. Is this true? Also, where I can get cheap poly envelopes - great idea for 13oz or less items, I've been using flat rate padded envelopes should consider these for lighter items. thanks again
Definitely get yourself some poly mailers, they are lighter and are pretty cheap. I buy mine on ebay - stores.ebay.com/valuemailers/ . That is who I buy from. And that is NOT true about the post office! The USPS DMM (Domestic Mail Manual) states that the box must be able to close by itself and you cannot reconstruct the box. Those are the only restrictions. I'll do a video on it soon.
Very nice video. Could u kindly make a step by step video on how shipping is actually done on the Ebay screen? I mean, by measurement(s) and postage. Example-1st class shipping etc. Again, how much could u make selling clothing for at least a month two? Especially with a very good sale month.
Thanks, I will try and make a video explaining the various options of the shipping screen on eBay! How much you can make really depends on the amount of time you are willing to put into it. The sky is the limit. Some months I am busier with other projects but it is not uncommon for me to gross $5,000 in clothing sales in a month. Its work though, its not free money. If you are interested in getting into selling clothing you may want to check out my new eBook. Its all about selling clothes on ebay. Here is a link if you are interested - amzn.to/1x2SQxV
+Chanice Stone On the shipping label screen, where you put in the weight and select the shipping service, look towards the top. There is a link to print a packing slip.
Rickey's Filmz The bubble mailer in the video is Priority Mail and it is free through the post office but it would cost about $5.50 to ship that way. You are better off using a poly mailer and shipping first class mail. You said you are shipping t-shirts so they should cost about $2.50-2.75. These are the poly mailers I use - amzn.to/1iQgRNl
Hey ! great video but i have a question about first class mail. I usually ship clothes that weigh under 13 oz. My items usually weigh about 8 or 9 oz, now can i ship clothing in those flat rate envelopes as well ? or is that not allowed. Is first class for much smaller items?
As of January 2016 First Class mail now goes up to 16 ounces. So any item you have that weighs 16 ounces or less should be sent via First Class mail. You could use the flat rate envelopes but they are more expensive and virtually arrive at the same time.
@@TheStruggleville If you go to the counter at the post office to pay for postage, the maximum weight for a First Class package is 13 ounces. If you print your postage at home, the maximum weight is 15.99 ounces.

Thanks so much for this! Do you happen to have a video about making labels and what they're supposed to look like?
Great video! Thanks for the step by step shipping method. Looking to ship some items from ebay listings, video a great help.
It's amazing how many things you can actually fit into a padded flat rate envelope. I used it for just about everything. Great tutorial
Thanks! Those padded flat rates really can save you alot of money in shipping costs
with poly mailer be sure to tape bottom of bag, most of bags ripe open during shipping if its to thin poly bag
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I found it very helpful

Thats a good idea. I have used poly mailers inside boxes and clear plastic bags in the past. I wouldnt make a habit of using grocery bags though.
I buy the kind with the self seal on them at the top on ebay. I use them for my tractor part books and they are great to slid in the envelopes.
nice2you2PickerOhio Hi, could you tell me where I could find these bags? What are the name of them? They sound great.

hi thanks for the info. I was looking for how to shrink things and make them fit but I cant find it where it at
To shrink things to make them fit put them in a plastic bag. Like a grocery or garbage bag then use the hose on your vacuum and suck out all the air.

WHERE DO I BUY A POLY MAILER?
ALSO DO YOU RECOMMENDED PACKING CLOTHES/SHOES IN BROWN BOXES?
THANK YOU.
NEW EBAY SELLER
Here are the poly mailers I buy:
6x9 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1t2mP4x
9x12 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1iQgRNl
Anything that is over 16 ounces and that doesnt fit in a flat rate envelope (such as shoes) I would use a regular priority mail box.
A lot of great information, thanks!!
You are welcome, hope it helps!
thanks I needed this
thank you that solved a lot of things for me!!
You're welcome. Glad it could help!
+hurkamur1 How about the process about poly mailers envelopes? Please, help!
What are some high demand items that I can look for to sell?
I find Levi jeans sell well
Do you still don't ship the clothing items in a clear poly bag? I sell to men aswell I just want to know if it is really needed. Thanks
No, I have never used a clear poly bag.
What do I have to choose from online for shipping if I will send in my poly mailer envelope from the post office, but still print out the label with adress? I'm taking about first and second envelops from the video. Please, tell me.
You should never pay for postage at the post office.
I mailed off two packages the other day, first class. The estimated delivery day was supposed to be the 2nd, but that was the last day info. Was updated in the tracking. Is my package lost?
Sometimes it takes awhile for the tracking to update. I wouldnt worry about it unless you hear something from the buyer.
Great video! So if I'm selling on eBay but I don't want to put my home address on the shipping label what can I do? I know P.O box is an option but do they charge for that? How can I get one?
Go to the post office and pay for a PO Box.
great info!
How do you measure bubble mailers, ebay always ask for lenght width and height, so for ex if it says 10x 12 envelope how do i measure that?
eBay has a box for it but you dont always need to fill it out. If all 3 dimensions (length, width, height/depth) are each less than 12 inches then you don't need to put the measurements in the listing. If any dimension is over 12 then just measure the package with the item(s) in it.
Such a helpful video! Thank you so much!
Thank you! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Is there ever an instance when I would need to ship a tshirt in a flat rate envelope if it is under 13 ounces? Are the poly mailer envelopes you mentioned also free on the USPS website? And is first class mail the same price no matter what region in the US it is shipping to? Thanks!
Thanks!!
so im on the usps site and on shipping supplies. the one that is $0 is it the free one u talk about?
Yes, just about all the boxes and envelopes on the USPS website are free. A few have the postage prepaid and they cost money but 90% are free.
Do you put the first class label through the ebay on the poly mailers? Is there that option on ebay?
Yes.
So you include the shipping in the cost of your item that you are selling on eBay. if so what shipping option do you select when you list your items to save money. I'm New to eBay. thanks
If the package will weigh under 15.99 ounces, you should select First Class package.
Hey thanks for the upload.
I've got a question - (If I had a scale already I wouldn't be asking haha)
I'm wondering how much a hoodie or a sweatshirt normally weighs? Would they be able to fit into a larger poly mailer lets say a 10x13 one and usually be below 13oz? Or are those primarily for t-shirts only?
Thanks!
A hoodie or sweater will always be over 13 ounces. Your best option is to try and stuff it into a padded flat rate or just using a regional A box.
The poly mailers work for most kids and womens clothing, t shirts, polo shirts and button up shirts. Pants and sweaters are just too heavy
***** Thanks for the info man I really appreciate it!
You need to buy a scale.
when you do free shipping, do you increase the cost of your item by that amount? Just curious.
Yeah typically that is how I do it.
Where is the best place to get the 12x9 poly mailers for cheap?
I have bought mine on both ebay and amazon. on ebay just do a search for 12 x 9 poly mailer and add the quantity you are looking for i.e. 100 and just search with the cheapest at the top.
Sucks that the padded flat rate envelopes are $7.10 now 😭
Damn you thick 😍
I'm going to share this in the EBay Business Facebook page.
Ok great, that is very helpful. Thank you!
great video. What's your suggestion on the best method for shipping shoes? Most are in the 2-3lb range.
In the event you cant use a regional A box and are shipping weight based I would set up the listing with the weight and then after the item sells see which is cheaper, weight based or medium flat rate.
perfect response, thank you
You can also order Priority Mail boxes for shoes. These are not flat rate, but saves you money on the box. And don't forget, all Priority mail is automatically insured for up to $50 :-)
Awesome tutorial!
Thanks! If you have any questions in the future feel free to ask!
Great video.. appreciate the tips!
J.R. Clothing Thanks!
***** Thanks again, the vid was pretty old; wasn't sure what parts were different now.
Great video
Ok.. Thank you!!
I sell 4 dollar tees on eBay with free shipping, my customers always tell me how much they love The quality, I'm wondering how you would ship a prepackaged item? would you just throw it in the mailing box and let it on its way?
great video tx
What about ties
Can you ship them in 8x4 bubble mailers?
I would just ship ties in a poly mailer like these - amzn.to/1t2mP4x
International product shipping?
how much would it cost to ship first clasd vs flat rate?
first class is about $2-$4 and flat rate starts at $6 I believe.
Do you have to use the size 9x12 polybags to ship first class mail? Is 10x13 okay to use?
+blindm0nkey515 10x13 is okay. The new rules is the weight has to be 16 ounces or less for first class mail. Any polymailer will work
+TheStruggleville thx
You're the best!!!!
How do you get your recipient's shipping label?
Print it.
Hi, great video. Right to the point but, what is a regional label? Can it be hand written?
Thanks. When using the regional rate boxes you need to print the label online. It cant be purchased at the Post Office. Either use eBay to print your labels or the USPS website has an option for the regional boxes too!
Oh, well I thought I could write it on the label since, ink is so expensive and runs out quickly. Thanks
Great Video! A lot of useful information to newcomers to the business like me.
Thanks! Glad it could help you. If you have any questions feel free to ask anytime!
The tyvek bags are excellent, though not flat rate...
i dont know how to ship clothing..so can u tell me the process and how to write address on the box?and how much for the boxes or envelopes?
Rumina Sultana Kazi for ebay, you don't write anything. You print the label from the computer and stick it to the box..have a nice day.
how do you set your items up on ebay with flat rate shipping.they always estimate the price depending on the state the buyer lives in ?
+Michele DeRusha/Morgan When listing the item the shipping portion of the page will give you options for flat rate, calculated shipping or local pickup. If you choose flat rate you will get a blank box where you can type in a total.
thank you so much
Can u make a video of the brake down what the difference is on the shipping packages, I did my first shipping and i could not understand the difference between all the different flat rate envelope and the bubble wrap ,,,,,,, and keeps going so I need a lil more help on that
I have a small playlist of shipping videos if you want to check it out, czcams.com/video/IXCF_kIOrq0/video.html
If you still have any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer! 👍
What is confusing about bubble wrap?
where do you buy your poly mailer???????
+Binky Lozz I always get them on Amazon, this is what I buy, amzn.to/1iQgRNl
Why would the bubble priority mailer be $5.35 and the legal cardboard $4.95? When I price my postage I just get the option Flat Rate Envelope and it does not differentiate the two. Its cost is $5.05. can you explain?
The bubble mailer is bigger by volume. I am guessing that is why it costs more. It sounds like you are printing your labels through Paypal. I dont think Paypal has added the other shipping options when printing a label through them. Amazon doesnt offer the other envelopes either. If you print your labels right from ebay, you will see the different options
can we get a link for the 6x9 and ur digital scale?
+valerie jackson Here you go.
6x9 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1t2mP4x
Postage Scale - amzn.to/1SIFQD0
Regional A (or B) is USPS best secret! And there's 2 sizes of these (for the same flat rate price).
Do you always order these items or are they available to be purchased at the local post office?
I always order the USPS supplies online. The regular flat rate envelope may be at your local post office. They probably wont have the padded flat rates and they definitely wont have the regional boxes, those you will have to order through USPS.com
The poly-mailers I buy on amazon. Here are links to the ones shown in the video:
6x9 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1t2mP4x (affiliate)
9x12 Poly Mailers - amzn.to/1iQgRNl (affiliate)
Great video! Thanks!
You're welcome!
Well done!!!
Thanks!
Wow 😳 shipping rates have risen so much since this video was made.
Its a misuse of postal supplies so technically it is illegal.
great video, but I was told at the post office that if you ship in flat rate cardboard envelopes they have to be flat and cannot bulk up, like they do when you put clothes in.
The poly mailers u had in the beginning of the video
You mentioned getting a packing slip for the buyer...how to I make one? on eBay?
+Chanice Stone On the shipping label screen, where you put in the weight and select the shipping service, look towards the top. There is a link to print a packing slip.
How much is the bubble package?I'm going to be selling t-shirts on my clothing line and would like to use those.
Rickey's Filmz The bubble mailer in the video is Priority Mail and it is free through the post office but it would cost about $5.50 to ship that way. You are better off using a poly mailer and shipping first class mail. You said you are shipping t-shirts so they should cost about $2.50-2.75. These are the poly mailers I use - amzn.to/1iQgRNl
thanks so much
Hey ! great video but i have a question about first class mail.
You could use the flat rate envelopes but they are more expensive and virtually arrive at the same time.
alright ! thanks so much !
Usps website says 13 oz. is that incorrect?
If anything on the USPS website says 13 ounces then it is outdated. First class goes up to 16 ounces now.
@@TheStruggleville If you go to the counter at the post office to pay for postage, the maximum weight for a First Class package is 13 ounces.
If you print your postage at home, the maximum weight is 15.99 ounces.
