I am a NRA lifetime member. That membership wasn't cheap. Of course, now I get mailings inviting me to become a platinum lifetime member or something like that. I paid for the top level membership. I even sponsored another membership. So they add a new level. How do you think a penthouse owner would react to someone building a new floor above theirs? The NRA is done in my book.
Ya but, it took group speak for most to follow that narrative...I knew the deal back in late 80's when they f'ked Neal Knox over. I knew something was really up when they never took one open carry case through the courts, even though the Heller case said states can prohibit concealed carry. What did every gun club out there do, they moved LICENSED concealed carry cases through the courts...That's 10yrs of frivolous cases, and we won't think about the membership money's going to waste.
