What a blast this palette was! At this time, I don’t believe LWIII is out of stock but keep an eye out!
This is unlike any of the palettes I have, in regards to the several textures found in one palette. I think this is more suitable for vibrant, dazzling eyes and it could be used for everyday if you use the more coral shades. I think you would still need to dip out to anchor the fun shades with more neutral shadows.

Very fun video! To get a little sciencey 🤓, for duo and multichromes, you will actually achieve their greatest color potential if you do not layer them over one another. Because they bend light like a prism rather than reflect light like a piece of foil, if you layer them, you can get competing refractions that result in a white effect which nullifies some of the nuances of the shades in the layers underneath. You always look stunning. Thank you for doing this! I have this palette and I had to see what kinds of looks you served with it. 😍

I just learned about this too (from @BadtotheBrow), and while I was happy to learn such an important technique, I was also kinda devastated because I’m physically incapable of choosing only one shade for my lid.
This, for me, is the most exciting launch of the year. This palette is absolutely beautiful and I had so much fun playing with all the different formulas. Surprisingly, the cream to powder matte, Black Hole, is the standout for me. It is super creamy and pigmented and just...divine. I need every single matte shadow for every brand going forward to be this formula. LOL. My hope is that Pat McGrath will see the success of this palette (it is sold out everywhere and Danessa pretty much said it's not coming back) and be a little more daring in a future Mothership release. Fingers crossed.

I've seen every eye look you've ever posted, and these are by far, without a doubt, the brightest, shiniest looks I've ever seen on you! You are actually visible from space! Btw, no, you do not want to scratch your eyeball. Ever. I've done it - the tiniest speck of a nick - and had to go to the ER. The pain is absolutely off the charts. No glittery eye is worth it.

I honestly got it right from Danessa right when it launched bc I not only was hyped (so we’re my teens!) for the palette but love Danessa and the artistry she brings to the world. I feel like it’s worth it and I hope Pat copies her and does a palette of mostly special shades too, a lot of us are tired of boring vanilla eye looks. We want color and multi dimensional shifts, bring it!!
I love how in depth your videos are during application! Fun to see the layering, the options are endless with this palette!
There are a bunch of Twin Flames that are the same as the shades in the palette, color wise. Space suit (eventhough a cream) is the same color as the Twin Flame Forever, Galaxy as True Luv (True Luv is much duller in finish once dried down), Martian and Soulmate, Gaia and Sweetheart (less shiny once dried down). I don’t have all the iridescent Twin Flames but I bet some of them have similar shades in the palette as well.
I got this pallette.. and I gotta say ... The inspiration that comes from the colour story is incomparable ! I love the creativity you can apply ! From my little sister to Brides this pallette has impressed so many people

Well god damn, when you shone the light on the looks I audibly gasped, we've seen a lot of "holographic" makeup over the years but my gosh particularly the blue eye, that was truly magical.
I love Danessa & has to get this palette, it did not disappoint, maybe my palette of the year, it’s amazing!
Danessa said in her last live that there are no more drops, so am really glad we all jumped to it, this is something really special! 💖

I’m actually glad I passed on this as hard as it was. I just bought all PML mothership palettes every palette but the third one it was sold out. I have other high end and indie brands and was curious about this but felt the 4 white iridescent shades are in older palettes I have and have shadows similar to her duochromes from your swatches so I appreciate your review. ❤️

I bought this during the Beautylish gift card event and I got the first chance to use it on the 5th and OH MY GOD, IT IS SO PRETTY! I used black hole at the outer corner and then Gaia over most of the lid and solar moon in the inner corner and I am without words to tell you how pretty the look was. It wore well, even on my watery eyes, had very little fall out, and was just my favorite thing I've put on my eyes in quite a while. I can't wait to layer golden eclipse over black hole!

I skipped because I felt most of the special shades have been done already and it's much more cost effective for me to get singles of the ones I don't have from indie brands that do multichromes and sparkles well. I’ve been hesitant to get this palette because I wasn’t a big fan of her Light Work Highlight Palette. I felt that formula was too opaque and created a cast on my cheek. Thanks for the tip to add an emollient underneath. I used the PMG Skin fetish balm duo and it looks nice and dewy now 🥰 You’re a pro!

This is so beautiful. I did a complete 180 and ordered Hindash's palette to review instead. This is a beautiful palette though with so many textures. You look amazing!!! I’m in love with this palette and Danessa in general. I use colorfix everyday- I’ve never found a better eyeshadow base and the bright colors as a base pump up all my shadow intensities. You have to try this over colorfix! Also I haven’t put lightworks 3 down since I got it. It’s stunning.

I *almost* waited for the Sephora sale to get mine but I am so glad I didn't! I also picked mine up during the Beautylish gift card event and seeing it sold out everywhere now, I am beyond happy I don't have to worry! It's every bit as beautiful in person as it is online and that's not always the case so double blessed to have this in my collection. (also can I just say what a brown eyed girl's dream it is??) For anyone who doesn't have one yet, I hope you can get your hands on one. Yes it's a little expensive, but so worth it if it's in your budget!

@@badtothebrow no I’m not because they were purchased before I made the conscious decision to stop buying from China, so they will be used until I run them into the ground, you know, because I’m also thinking of the environment. But hey, you do you boo. I’m certainly not putting my views onto anybody else. You just keep picking away at your own conscience and let me deal with mine.
I think being a conscious consumer is imp and I try to do that myself but it’s also sometimes very privileged. Not everyone can afford to do so and I think it’s imp to remember that fact. I’ve struggled off and on in my life financially and I am raising three children, there are times when being a conscious consumer just isn’t possible. Clearly this is about more than makeup but it’s worth saying.

I’m no activist, far from it I’m just somebody who has a keen interest in the world and look at my role in doing what I can and boycotting China is just one of them. I certainly don’t think my way is the right way for everybody and I’m not a jobsworth who will put people down for their views/opinions or what they stand for…badtothebrow. It’s just a shame that we live in a society where people, Some people take others actions and instead of seeing the good will run with the negative and leave snide little comments.
