Hi friends! I am very excited to share with you today a product that I have been testing for a while: the NEW Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork IV Transcendence Palette. If you are on the fence about getting this palette or a little intimidated, don't worry. In this video I am breaking down all of the formulas and how to create wearable, beautiful looks. Sofia, if brands don’t reach out to sponsor your videos, they’re missing out. You are so talented at describing, presenting and demonstrating products and make things look so wearable. You are great at makeup application and are quite talented. Your enthusiasm for makeup comes through, can’t say that I see that with any other creator. You’re awesome and fun to see this palette in action, even though I don’t think this is something I would ever pick up, may be a bit too out there for me to wear to the office.

Oh my goodness, the SHINE! The saturation of colors! These are the kind of shadows I love to spread up and down my arms, but never wear out of the house, ha!

thank you sooo much for showing us 4 looks that are so unique and beautiful!! i would've never thought to create looks like these with this palette (especially the neutral one--it's still so stunning but it looks so soft & i never would've guessed we could get that look with this palette), you made them work so well; and also want to specifically thank you for not just doing a liner look with the water-activated colors but showing us a different way to use it!

Hi dear Sofia, i just love your very detailed, in depth reviews for the products you review, and this looks fabulous on you, you're young, you have gorgeous brown eyes, looks fabulous!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩For me? I stopped buying all these type of shadows since, since spring i think. Still have quite some products from PMG/ND/SG, also gave away some already, not buying new anymore. Has nothing to do with very talented Danessa Myricks or other brands, but with me. My eyes are more often sensitive since more than 1.5 years, i'm 52 now, i still use these more bold palettes now and than, but use more and more softer products on my eyes, like from Chantecaille, Tom Ford, Suqqu etc. But will always love these kind of reviews, as i will always be an eyeshadow addict, i guess!!! Thanks for sharing such a thorough review! I’d have limited opportunities to wear these sorts of looks so this palette isn’t a realistic purchase for me. But I really enjoy seeing the looks everyone creates. It’s hard to pick a favourite look out of the ones you showed 😅

Love these shadows on you but I feel like for the price there should be no issues picking up any of the shades etc. Also I'm a such a boring neutral matte kinda girl that I feel like I'd maybe touch this once a year. Thanks for another awesome review! 👌💖

Hi Sophia, did you use an eyeshadow primer underneath the look with flakes and the aqua chromes? Wondering if that would prevent creasing
Nope! I highly doubt a primer will help because the consistency of the flakes is a thick cream. Primers are usually designed for powder application on top

I do wearable, but I also do colorful and bright. I am curious to try these, only to compare with all my indie singles 🤔💭 Have you compared them to other indie singles yet? If so, who do they compare to?
Good question. I don't cover indie brands on my channel so I don't really have anything else to compare them to.
I love this palette and I've work the aqua chromes all over the lids but I haven't been able to get them to not disappear from my crease. Any tips?
I don’t think these are designed for all over the lids. I don’t think there is a great way to do that without having them flake. Best to use them as a liner on on the flatter part of the lid 🙂
Put down a black base, either smear on a black eyeliner pen(not liquid), or use a matte black eyeshadow make it pretty opaque. Then only use no more than three little drops of water no more than three.... Then mix that up till it's a nice gel consistency. Go ahead and paint one layer on the eyelid and leave your eye closed till it dries don't put any more layers on. That should make it not crease. Works for me.
And the little silicone tipped brush Danessa sells are made FOR applying the Chrome Flakes. The flakes stick to silicone and come off perfectly once placed in the skin.
On Danessa's website and her CZcams she explains and shows how each formula is supposed to be used appropriately 😊
I am simply watching bc i love your personality and content, however no interest in this palette color story. also, $120 and made in china.... i personally dont trust makeup made in Chinese factories as there is little oversight and many toxins found in products made there. that is a bit ridiculous to me. I pay lux prices for products made in france and italy because of the EU standards and strict ingredient protocols. also italian talc is supposed to be asbestos free. i dont know if these shadows have talc, but my guess is they probably do.

Do you have any suggestions for primers with these shadows?? The flakes dissapear and crease the fastest
I don't think a primer will work. Eyeshadow primers are designed for helping powder shadows cling to the lid. These are a thick creamy consistency and that is prone to creasing

I got a $100 in sephora gift cards and I was like why not splurge. I would never buy it on my own.
You did great looks on this pallet. It's a hard pass for me though, for 125 every single shade needs to be perfection. I bought her last pallet and it was 85, great quality. This one though is an absolute no.
