I use a silicone "brush" for my Pat special shades... I don't like to use my fingers and I don't like the way my eyeshadow (for any brand) looks with a wet brush. The skin on my eyelids just doesn't do well with water/spray mixing. The silicone brush is the best for me, and I use it with any special shade/metallic shade etc. Looks amazing! I'm super excited by this se4ries, I will be tuning in! Feel free to do even more looks etc. I enjoy watching how other use/mix their PML eyeshadows. Thank You!
I love that you’re revisiting these. You were dead right in your last video - these are way too damn expensive to only use for special occasion. I’m feeling super inspired now. I’m pale as paper and one of my fave go-to looks is to spend some time using just a little of Xtreme Aubergine in the outer corner and working it into my crease with gradually larger brushes so it looks more mid-toned by the time it gets to the crease and not so dark. Then I use the Skinshow shade in the inner corner and in the lid. I love how much dimension I can get in just that one matte shade.
I love this so much. Bronze seduction was my first mothership, and I love this new look at it. I’m going to rewatch this and play with it again. Also, I *love* this whole series because it encourages going back into our collections and rediscovering items instead of just buying buying buying. A+!

For an autumn wedding, I did the red on the outer 2/3 and then tacked down the astral gold with glitter glue in the inner third and inner corner. Quite the ka-pow look. I loved your look using the red dusted over the deep brown. Definitely my vibe.
This is amazing! Thank you for showing us multiple ways to use the palette. I'm not very good with eyeshadow, mostly do a light matte, dark matte on outer corner, and a lid shade on top. I got this mothership for Christmas and felt like it was wasted on me, I haven't even touched the flame shade lol This was super helpful! I'm going to try to recreate some of these for sure.

I like this new series of going back into older PMG pallets. Maybe consider doing similar series for some of your other favorite pallets. Every video doesn’t need to be about the latest drop. I really enjoy this.
Suggestion: could you add a flash photo test to some/all of the looks? Some of the shadows reach their full potential under flash lighting and those are the shades I feel people gravitate towards moreso for evening looks anyway - when they're going out and taking pictures in dim or overhead lighting. I feel like it's hard to tell what her special formula can do in broad daylight. As always, your video was brilliant - super detailed and full of passion for what you do and that's more beautiful to me than any palette💕💜 thank you!
Bronze Seduction is not my favourite (hello, Midnight Sun) but I do really appreciate that it makes me more creative, encourages me to experiment, and try different combinations. Also I am really fair and by "normal" standards I have never ever ended up with a day appropriate look with this one. That being said, I do not really care and wear it super smokey blitzy eyes anyway. And fortunately my boss doesn't care either. My only gripe (apart from not suitable blending shades but hey I get it) is that Guilty Pleasure is such a disappointing mess. That was the shade I was most excited about.
I hope mama Pat shares these series and you get more subscribers, because on top of you being so deserving of more recognition, these tutorials have such a great quality to them! The looks are amazing and your way to explain everything just makes the whole packaging! You're amazing, Alicia! Love u!
I love that you do these tutorials on older palettes. It reminds me to pull out things I love. I'm the same complexion as you (in fact when trying new complexion products I usually google you and that product to pick my shade, lol) and I do use this palette on the everyday.
I think sometimes also we get so stuck on only using the one palette and for something like pat mcgrath it gets harder to do every day looks for the office and stuff. But then I saw another CZcamsr (can't remember who now) who would use her bronzer or blush in the crease and very lightly use pat's matte or shimmer or metallic shades on the lid and I was amazed how every day and approachable the looks were. You don't have to combine a bunch of shades and get all stressed out .. like I literally can't buy a mothership palette because I get in my head that I have to use every shade go make it worth it and then I just look like I'm going to the club when really I am just going into the office lol but anyhow thats it for my rant. Love your videos ❤️
40min video for PML bronze seduction??? Yes please!!! This is why you're the expert! I bought this as my first PML purchase (thanks to you!) But as you said in the beginning it can be difficult to make it daily friendly but some of your looks did it! I am definitely Bringing this one out again to try out these looks and get more use out of this palette. As always thanks for the inspiration!

I have so many expensive brushes, but I confess I love using a long-handled eyeshadow sponge-tipped applicator (from Amazon), usually dampened, to apply Pat’s special shades and shimmers. I’m clumsy with my fingers, and I appreciate how precise I can get with it. 😊
Thank you Alicia, another great video. I own this palette but haven’t used it so much in comparison to other motherships. I like how you applied the red shade over a matte shadow to give a more earthy look.

I have this palette and have neglected the hell out of it because the color story felt overwhelmingly “dressy” and this video gave me seceral ideas of how to use it for more daily looks (and also how to begin tackling that intimidating red). This is the only palette from PAT that I own and I love It for so many reasons... But this new techniques are calling my name! You are the queen Alicia 💓 I personally use the astral shades on top of any other shadow from any other palette when I want THE SHABLAM on my look 🤣

Hello Alicia, I am so happy you are revisiting Pat's palettes they are so pricy that we really need to use them mre often. My technique to use my makeup collection is to use a brand a week, I do have several items from the same brand and this way I can use my items and focus on fewer products a week. Since I have all the motherships and almost all of the quads and six pans I need to do this in order to use them up and make sure I discover new looks. Thank you so much for your commitment and revising these amazing products.
Finally caved and bought Bronze Seduction and Divine Rose 1, as well as the 2 holiday quints… I cannot WAIT!! I currently only have huetopian dream, and Midnight sun is tucked away in my closet for Christmas (torture). Thank you for your hard work, I can’t wait to play!!! ❤😊
Midnight Sun really got a hold on all PML lovers, meanwhile I absolutely adore Bronze Seduction🤣!! The sunny and glowy colors are gorgeous on my brown skin. I can't get enough lol Now that I think of it, I need to find a way to combine Electric Bloom blush with Blitz flame 🔥🔥
Oh YES! That will be a great combination! Midnight Sun is still my all time fav, but I’m happy I gave Bronze Seduction more time. I felt that I was viewing it myopically, and didn’t recognize more possibilities.

Alicia, this was so inspiring. I love this palette, but haven’t used it enough to come up with these great combos. They are all gorgeous. I love how you bravely combine colors and textures. One look that I loved from this palette was created by Alexandra Anele in her video “a very glam goth makeup tutorial for yousss”. Definitely not a work look, but just shows how versatile this palette can be. I eagerly await your next one. Thanks SO much! ❤️

Super excited to see the revamped series - love the idea, and can't wait for next installment. Those videos inspire me to pick up my pallettes. for my everyday look I take Entrapment in my outer V and crease, and Fire Opal all over the lid - my lids look wet without any gloss on them! 😀
So Bronze seduction has never been a fave. I returned it to Mother Pat and ended that palette relationship with the quickness upon application. I felt odd for not getting the hype, but the two textured “metallics” just didn’t win me over. I’m now wondering whether I should buy it again for the special shades because I really enjoyed them. Not sure the direction I’ll go, but I enjoyed watching this in case I decide to get in bed with Mothership V again. Side note: my partner is into anime, as am I, but our kids keep me too busy these days to keep up. So I noticed him playing Demon Slayer on X-box, he just got it, and instantly thought of you. Never watched the series and now I’m quite interested to binge watch 😊
I completely understand! Although I understood the hype, I recognized that it resided in VR Fire Opal and that was it 🤣 In addition to Xtreme Aubergine not being Xtreme black, and a few other additions. But that’s what encouraged me to dissect it and understand better. At the same time, it’s still not my favorite. But I recognize it’s beauty, and what it has to offer.
Thank you so much for your videos Alicia. I can watch them over and over again. You are unbelievable passionate about Mother Pat and its contagious. I love Midnight sun but bronze seduction divided my heart. I'm using it on the daily basis, even the blitz flame all over and lots of astra luna gold. And to be honest, it might be too much for some but I don't care. I love it, but my number one from this palette is Rose Gold all over the lid with xtreme aubergine in the outer corner and on the lower lid, them blend blitz flame on the lower lash line with vr fire opal in the inner corner on the lower lid. I love that and so many people complement that look and few of my clients bought that pallet because of that. I'm from Ireland and so far nobody hear about Pat Mcgrath here, so I'm her ambassador in my country 😀 nearly should get commission by this stage 😄 Any way, Alicia- I love you and you are amazing, you have beautiful calming voice which I can listen for ever, you are very talented and simply know your stuff 😀 Thank you so much for your hard work!!!
❤ Thank you for the revamp! It inspires me to pull out my mothership 5 instead of buying new stuff! ❤ My favorite thus far to wear is entrapment in the crease, extreme aubergine outer corner, rose gold inner lid, fire opal in center, astral luna very inner corner (creates a beautiful rainbow halo).
I tried putting the skinshow first and top it with blitz flame and it diffused the color nicely! I also tried the skinshow in mothership 8 and it made a nice pink! Those skinshow shadows helped me get some use of the red since it's also a bit neglected.

I loved these combinations and good ones to add to what I already do and now that I've hit pan on Bronze Blaze and Gilty Pleasure, I'm going to need more options. I think the KISS method is best to apply when using this palette, or any of Pat's palettes that have the more sparkle glitzy shades, to end up with a really impactful look.
I love that you’re doing this series Alicia! I also have neglected this palette but it’s because I usually gravitate to cool tones and this palette is ultra warm. I definitely find it suitable for all year round! I love warm shades the most in the summer when I’m tan and it transitions beautifully into fall and it is very much appropriate for the holidays as well! The rose gold, astral gold and VR fire opal can also be gorgeous spring shades ✨💕 I paired this palette with Disrupt from Auric and it was such a dream 😍

But as you said in the beginning it can be difficult to make it daily friendly but some of your looks did it! I have so many expensive brushes, but I confess I love using a long-handled eyeshadow sponge-tipped applicator (from Amazon), usually dampened, to apply Pat’s special shades and shimmers. I’m clumsy with my fingers, and I appreciate how precise I can get with it. 😊
Sponge applicators are so under-rated. I have a small pack of disposables on hand for precision application with sparkly shadows.

I have this palette and have neglected the hell out of it because the color story felt overwhelmingly “dressy” and this video gave me seceral ideas of how to use it for more daily looks (and also how to begin tackling that intimidating red). This is the only palette from PAT that I own and I love It for so many reasons... But this new techniques are calling my name! You are the queen Alicia 💓 I personally use the astral shades on top of any other shadow from any other palette when I want THE SHABLAM on my look 🤣

Hello Alicia, I am so happy you are revisiting Pat's palettes they are so pricy that we really need to use them mre often. My technique to use my makeup collection is to use a brand a week, I do have several items from the same brand and this way I can use my items and focus on fewer products a week. Since I have all the motherships and almost all of the quads and six pans I need to do this in order to use them up and make sure I discover new looks. Thank you so much for your commitment and revising these amazing products.
Finally caved and bought Bronze Seduction and Divine Rose 1, as well as the 2 holiday quints… I cannot WAIT!! I currently only have huetopian dream, and Midnight sun is tucked away in my closet for Christmas (torture).

Alicia, this was so inspiring. I love this palette, but haven’t used it enough to come up with these great combos. They are all gorgeous. I love how you bravely combine colors and textures. One look that I loved from this palette was created by Alexandra Anele in her video “a very glam goth makeup tutorial for yousss”. So Bronze seduction has never been a fave. I returned it to Mother Pat and ended that palette relationship with the quickness upon application. I felt odd for not getting the hype, but the two textured “metallics” just didn’t win me over. I’m now wondering whether I should buy it again for the special shades because I really enjoyed them. Not sure the direction I’ll go, but I enjoyed watching this in case I decide to get in bed with Mothership V again. Side note: my partner is into anime, as am I, but our kids keep me too busy these days to keep up. So I noticed him playing Demon Slayer on X-box, he just got it, and instantly thought of you. Never watched the series and now I’m quite interested to binge watch 😊
I completely understand! Although I understood the hype, I recognized that it resided in VR Fire Opal and that was it 🤣 In addition to Xtreme Aubergine not being Xtreme black, and a few other additions. But that’s what encouraged me to dissect it and understand better. At the same time, it’s still not my favorite. But I recognize it’s beauty, and what it has to offer.
Thank you so much for your videos Alicia. I can watch them over and over again. You are unbelievable passionate about Mother Pat and its contagious. I love Midnight sun but bronze seduction divided my heart. I'm using it on the daily basis, even the blitz flame all over and lots of astra luna gold. And to be honest, it might be too much for some but I don't care. I love it, but my number one from this palette is Rose Gold all over the lid with xtreme aubergine in the outer corner and on the lower lid, them blend blitz flame on the lower lash line with vr fire opal in the inner corner on the lower lid. I love that and so many people complement that look and few of my clients bought that pallet because of that. I'm from Ireland and so far nobody hear about Pat Mcgrath here, so I'm her ambassador in my country 😀 nearly should get commission by this stage 😄 Any way, Alicia- I love you and you are amazing, you have beautiful calming voice which I can listen for ever, you are very talented and simply know your stuff 😀 Thank you so much for your hard work!!!

❤ Thank you for the revamp! It inspires me to pull out my mothership 5 instead of buying new stuff! ❤ My favorite thus far to wear is entrapment in the crease, extreme aubergine outer corner, rose gold inner lid, fire opal in center, astral luna very inner corner (creates a beautiful rainbow halo).
This has inspired me so much 😍 gonna dedicate a week to this palette
I tried putting the skinshow first and top it with blitz flame and it diffused the color nicely! I also tried the skinshow in mothership 8 and it made a nice pink! Those skinshow shadows helped me get some use of the red since it's also a bit neglected.

Guilty Pleasure was one of my fave shades
I loved these combinations and good ones to add to what I already do and now that I've hit pan on Bronze Blaze and Gilty Pleasure, I'm going to need more options. I think the KISS method is best to apply when using this palette, or any of Pat's palettes that have the more sparkle glitzy shades, to end up with a really impactful look.
I love that you’re doing this series Alicia! I also have neglected this palette but it’s because I usually gravitate to cool tones and this palette is ultra warm. I definitely find it suitable for all year round! I love warm shades the most in the summer when I’m tan and it transitions beautifully into fall and it is very much appropriate for the holidays as well! The rose gold, astral gold and VR fire opal can also be gorgeous spring shades ✨💕 I paired this palette with Disrupt from Auric and it was such a dream 😍
