    Get started with your Vicks No Touch 3-in-1 Thermometer with a few simple steps.
    For best accuracy, let the thermometer and individual being measured acclimate to the room temperature for 30 minutes before using the thermometer.
    Start by pressing the power button to turn it on. The thermometer will beep once and flash green. When 4 dashes appear on the LCD screen the thermometer is ready for a measurement.
    Hold the thermometer steady and make sure that any hair, dirt, or sweat is removed from the forehead before taking a temperature.
    Once the forehead is clear, position the thermometer up to 2 inches away from the center of the forehead, just between the eyebrows.
    Press the power button to begin the measurement, which can be made in under two seconds.
    Once a temperature has been taken, the reading will be shown on the thermometer’s display, along with a green, yellow, or red color from the Fever Insight feature.
    The thermometer will sound one long beep for a normal temperature and four double beeps when it reads a temperature at or over ninety-nine point five degrees.
    When you’re finished, the thermometer will automatically power down after 20 seconds without use.
    You can turn off any beeps or sounds from the thermometer by holding the mode button for 3 seconds.
    After setting the Fahrenheit/Celsius setting the screen will then change to the Mute function. Press the MODE button to change to “Off” to mute the sound. Press the MEMO button to save selection.

    I keep getting a "Lo" reading so I'm thinking it's the batteries. Replaced 4 times with new batteries and still get a "Lo" reading and never has it beeped!

      Hey Richard. In order to resolve this, please make sure there are no obstacles in front of the forehead or object being measured and ensure you are 0.4-2.0 inches from the forehead or object being measured. In addition, make sure the device is in the room for 15-20 minutes before taking a measurement. Lastly, wait 1 minute for every 2 measurements taken. We hope this information is helpful!     I just bought this at CVS and it’s horrible. A total waste of money. It gives completely different temps and they’re low temps. Pretty disappointed.

      You and many others, sue them for any medical bills that were accumulated over false readings .

    I can't use the thermometer because there's a Err message (Error) and the screen turned RED. So how can I fixed?

    I bought your thermometer at costco and I am so dissapointed. Why is it so inaccurate? One second is showing 99.9 which I know is false, then when I try again, it's showing 98. WTH?

      This thing is ridiculous. We took our daughter to ER and it was fine. It gives 102 then 98 then 99.9 and I spent 1000 dollars in ER and even the doctor saw this device and was actually shocked seeing how many inaccurate results he saw

      I thought it was fine at first giving 98.7 then 99.9 so figured ok maybe lil temperature. Now I'm 93.7, typical American company building in China. It is why i try never to buy made in China. I will pay 100X more for made in America if necessary.

      @@vickshumidifiersthermomete2655 my daughter was very sick. We wanted to buy the best thermometer we could find at CVS so there would be no mistake what her temperature was. When we got home our first temperature reading was 102. Then 105. Then 106. Then 99. Then 97. Then 104. Very very frustrating when dealing with a 2 year old that is extremely sick and emotions in the house are high.

      My son has a reading of 105, 104, 103, and 106 all within seconds of each other - ughhh. Not what a mom needs to deal with when her kid is sick.

    This is absolutely trash and misleading! It never gives the right temperature. The absurd thing is you need to add one when you have low temperature while to minus one when you have high temperature.
