Braun No touch + forehead thermometer uses a new, revolutionary technology that ensures clinically accurate and consistent readings, with gentle convenience. This can be used with both touch and no touch functions.
Get started with only a few simple steps.
First, remove the protective cap from the thermometer. Then press the “Power/On” button to turn it on.
To help ensure a reliable measurement, hold the thermometer steady and make sure that any hair, dirt or sweat is removed from the forehead before taking a temperature. Once the forehead is clear, position the thermometer either directly on the patient’s forehead and between the eyebrows or up to 2 inches away from their forehead.
A built-in yellow guidance light will help guide your thermometer and ensure it’s in the correct position. Press the “Temperature” button to begin the measurement, which can be made in under 2 seconds.
Once a temperature has been taken, the reading will be shown on the thermometer’s display, along with a green, yellow or red color from the fever guidance system. The thermometer will also beep 10 times when it reads a temperature at or over 99.4 degrees. Using the no-touch temperature reading feature helps to avoid skin contact which can minimize the spread of germs.
When you’re finished using your thermometer, press the “Power” button again to turn it off or it will automatically power down after 60 seconds without use.
You can turn off any beeps or sounds from the thermometer by simply sliding the sound switch into silent mode.
To change the temperature scale of your thermometer between Fahrenheit and Celsius open the battery compartment and remove the batteries. Slide the temperature scale switch to your preferred temperature scale. Replace the batteries, close the compartment and your thermometer is ready to go.

Mines keep saying error. Cant use it at all
I recently bought it, and i face some weird mesuarments for me and my family. If you read the manual you can find that works in temperatures between 15-40C. Well if you have it on a table or somewhere else the temperature might be lower and will show you error. Or it will be low anyway and you will get the false measurements. My brother "had" 39.4 which should be noticeable fever but he was feeling great. I just try to warm up the thermometer by putting it inside my jacket for 5 mins and increas it's temperature from my body heat. Then the mesuarment was 36.4. And then the same good body temperature came for the whole family. So i guess that's the problem with this device. It doesn't work correctly if it's temperature is lower than 20C (I GUESS)
I'm checking employees at the gate due to this coronavirus. Out of 80 employees checked 3 had to be done multiple times due to error code. Noticed all them had a/c blasting, worked when they shut it off.

Stay away. Great variance and no repeatability. Its always 1c off vs the regular thermometer.

Garbage total waste of money. Not accurate. I tested my temp with an under tongue thermometer and this braun is way off. I’m wouldn’t trust it at all.

This gizmo is a piece of garbage. The company I'm trapped at working for uses these as part of their covid-19 screening. If I'm sent home from work, I'll sue. At least that'd be an easy court battle.
