I had been considering an Xpro camera but think that I will go with the Nikon Zf.
Hi, do people ever post issues with X-Pro2? I own that camera and never have any issues. Maybe the pinnacle of Fuji’s x-pro development reached its peak with the x-pro2. To a lesser extent although old the x-pro1 may also be better than the x-pro3 on reliability. I sold my x-pro3 a year ago as i thought it’s build quality was poor and i wasn’t going to wait for my screen to fail 😊
No, I didn't find any complaints regarding xpro2.
Another reported problem with X-Pro 3 (that I experienced recently) is the shutter button becoming sticky and hard to press and will it fire the shutter once, twice or not at all?
I managed to fix my shutter button problem using a small amount of Graphite Powder around the shutter button and then screw in a Red shutter button extension and use this to move the button up and down and 10 minutes later it is completely Good as New 🙏
The cable issue happened to me as well. Sending it into Fuji right now. Screen replacement and motherboard replacement is about 300$ usd. Still no lawsuit in Japan
If I was in your situation, I would sell X-Pro 3. The only reason I am not switching is because I don't pixel peep and because my X-T3 just works. So was my X-T1 - it was working like new on a day I sold it after 5 years of pretty heavy use. I am not sure what is up with newer Fuji bodies. This makes me uneasy about my next camera.
Bobby Tonelli did a video on the Zf with the manual focus Voigtlander lenses and the eye assist worked fine.

Yup, I had that XF1 with ribbon issue.
Here's what people with XPro3 users will face in the next 5 or 6 years. Fujifilm Australia just refuse to fix anything before XE3 even if its just tightening lens focusing ring of X70 - Yes, X70 is plagued by the issue when paired with WCL-X70
Tudor, I don't know if it's just me, but my XT4 had a similar problem with yours. The screen suddenly did not work. When I brought it to Fuji service center, they're charging me approximately 400 usd. I like the image quality that Fuji brings, but I'm really disappointed how their body breaks down. Not to mention, my Fuji XF 35mm f2. Suddenly its autofocus, which btw is very quick initially, suddenly it has a lag. I had Olympus, Panasonic, Canon cameras before, and not even once I had build quality problems. And now this, your Xpro 3 has ribbon issues. Looks like it's something that Fuji needs to improve on.
Yes... and also I saw EVF coating problems on Fujifilm X-T5 reported by a few users on Fujifilm x-t5 groups...
I am considering moving from Fuji to Nikon ZF. Though, I got used to Fuji's film simulation. Is there something equivalent on the Nikon system?
Raw+LR + presets will get you results much better than Fuji filters

You can also use amazing Voigtlander lenses with the ZF made for the Z mount .edit , Also , I’m not convinced the ZF has better image quality than the XT5 or XPro 3 . I shoot both Nikon and Fuji and the only advantage the ZF would have regarding image quality would be in the lowlight department. For Nikon I have a Z7 that I pair with the 40F2 and 28 2.8 for travel . Despite the plastic mount both are great lenses . There is also the 26 2.8 Z pancake lens. Thanks for the video .

Zf has the PASM modes though. So it’s not the same as the modeless Fuji system where you don’t have to think about modes. I’d much rather have an X-T1/2/3/4/5 than the Zf based on that alone, or X-Pro2 for that matter.
If you’re going for a PASM camera anyway for the sake of full-frame I’d prioritise getting a camera with compact lenses that have aperture rings on them.
I hear you already have a Sony A7c. So I’d pair that with something like the Sony FE 40mm f/2.5 G, Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN. Plenty of manual focus options too.
And if you *really* want full frame, good build quality, manual focus with optical viewfinder and compact lenses, modeless operation (like Fuji)… a camera really made for street photography we all know the brand that makes that, and it starts with L. 😉 (Not something I can afford though.)

@@Tudor_MateescuAnd crucially: the lenses I mention has aperture rings on them. Still not as nice as Fuji (no PASM), but at least you can controll the aperture the proper way.
