What was your favourite episode in Season 3? And does it top any episode in Volume 1or 2? Zima Blue and Beyond The Aquila Rift are two tough ones to beat....
Can you make a video of the top 7 episodes of the series and masons rats was probably my favorite
Bad traveling. It was so cinematic and felt like a full feature length film
Bad travelling is the best episode ever .
third one was my fav, but the second one is close.
Jibaro was my favorite.
Not sure I agree with you understanding of Jibaro. I think the soldiers are the invaders, driven by greed and glorified by their religion. They are punished, for their sins. Deaf solder was greedy, they first thing he noticed and pocketed is a golden scale. When he was unaffected, it intrigued the siren, she might also think/believe he is pure of heart, as he was unaffected by her song. He tricked her and robbed her.
It was said by the creator that it was a metaphor for a toxic relationship. Neither are heros, their both attracted to one another for the wrong reasons the man because of greed, the woman morbid curiosity, at different points were rooting for different people neither is in the right and both are wrong but the difference being in what way their wrong...
@@quardine337 perfect explanation
I think you could also read this episode as a portrayal of colonization. The soldiers can symbolize the conquistador, driven by greed. And the siren the native people. that's why in the end he stripped her of almost all she had (the gold). and left her broken. In my opinion the scene where the death soldier takes the gold can be interpreted as a rape (in the way it was shot, it was violent and gruesome. And in the way he throws her body back to river when his done). The way she reacts after seeing her naked body after support this idea (her screams were no longer graceful but more so painful, and it leaves her empty when done).
@@quardine337 That’s not even close to how I took it, but if that is what the director said then he’s right.
I thought that he was deaf. And could’ve walked away but greed got the best of him. And the red waters made him vulnerable. Wow
Torrin was not the captain. He was likely the first mate or some other secondary position. The captain was eaten..which is why he had to get the gun key from the Thanopod.
right. That's why they were drawing the short stick at the beginning after the attack. Because if their captain had survived, he'd be making orders instead of drawing the short stick.
Wasn't torrin the navigator?
I really liked volume 3! I hate that some people are giving the less funded films hard critcism. Remember guys that these studios worked so hard on their projects and every shortfilm is a proof of both skill, dedication. They are not necessarily here trying to invent the wheel. I hope Love Death + Robots gets many more seasons so we are able to enjoy diverse story telling and animation.
That's the beauty of the show! Each episode get's treaded in its own right no matter budget, skill, art style cast or inspiration. Extremely unique.
I agree 100%. Also if you care about scifi short films sub to the DUST channel here on YT.
Absolutely nothing wrong with criticism dude. Some people are allowed to dislike the show and voice their opinions, the thing about anthologies is some episodes will appeal to some people and some episodes won’t. Nothin wrong with that
@@barakaafrobama6519 exactly. I love the show, but some episodes…both in story and animation style are not as great as others. Critiques, opinions, and preferences will vary. In total agreement with you.
@@barakaafrobama6519 Then you misunderstood what I meant. I've seen people going crazy because the episodes didn't meet their high expectations. Even some of them not understanding why every episode couldn't be photo real and with a deep meaning. As we have seen lately peoples loud opinions tends to take it's toll on creativity in the industry. While comparing and ranking episodes are totally okay, Some people with hateful rhetoric shits on the less funded films right to be in volume. Since I work in the same field i see Love Death + Robots as a love letter to the diverse and innovative animation. I hope that people will appreciate and honor the hard work and not feel betrayed by there own high expectations that leads to the hateful rhetoric against the studios. Of course people are entitled to their opinion I think it's more better to look at what worked in each film rather than how everything is one big disappointment.
I personally loved the mini one. Was distinctly unique, was amusing and didn't overstay its welcome. Episodes like this nicely punctuate the heavier episodes. Deserved higher than 9th in my opinion.
agreed, i would've put kill team kill at the bottom, it has a unique art style but the core seems hollow
yeah tbh mini dead was very unique and entertaining. kill team kill was the typical cliche gore combat animation.
@@frostymourne867 exactly!
@@jinhee5477 It wasn’t hollow, no LDR episode is hollow really it’s just a wild and funny ride with a team of military. TKT is funny as hell and gruesome as well, just as it’s intended, might not be the best one this season but it’s not bad, not bad in a mile.
@@jxx8152 Indeed it's far from BAD, i'm sure many audience, including me, had some fun watching it. What i'm saying is there are already too many stories about man with machine guns and RPGs and genetically modified monster with exoskeleton engaged in a fight where gore and viscera flies around. TKT just, in my personal opinion, repeated work on a paradigm that's been proven commercially successful, without bringing anything new to the field, and therefore seemed subpar comparing to other episodes in the season that were executed just as well, but also brought something new to the table, and actually makes you think afterwards. As you suggested, TKT did well at what they wanted to do, but what the wanted to do may not be what's most needed for the series. (would look much better if it was released in season 2 though)
My favorite was a Bad Traveling. It was so intriguing and terrifying, had me glued from start to finish with a brilliant ending .
I actually really liked Mason’s Rats , it was funny and sympathetic. I liked how it ended .
Overall a great season, probably my favorite one
I didn't like that he survived, but it was interesting.
Glad you agree on Bad Travelling! Yes, this season was very well rounded. Outperforms Season 2!
Ch50304 - tbf he was the hero of the story.
@@BrainPilot yes, but wish we had more different animation styles and stories. It is still better than season 2. I am glad we got different monster designs. You should do a video on that.
@@Ch50304 There was a stop motion, mocap hyper realistic, several variants of more "traditional" CG and "cartoon" 3d. That's a lot for 9 episodes. Maybe someone somewhere is doing claymation still but I haven't seen any recently. People still do hand drawn but a 15ish minute hand drawn would take years not months to animate and would cost way more than this entire season's budget.
I took "night of the mini dead" very differently than you did. To me it is the most effective visualization of how much we humans overestimate our own importance that I have ever seen.
Exactly. A funny look at our own existence. I’m still liking the insignificant fart of our world being blown up!
@@baleksander000 that actually wasn't just the planet but the entire solar system getting blown to kingdom com.
@@furionmax7824 That’s literally impossible. We don’t have anywhere near enough fire power to take out an entire solar system. Lol what a statement.
@@eligreg99 I know we don't. But considering the size of our planet compared to the galaxy. If the earth blew up and we were outside of our galaxy to witness it, we wouldnt even see a spark. But if it was a star blowing up, hell yeah it could be seen.
The very pulse of the machine hooked me in such a weird way! I found the episode amazing and mesmerizing!
Definitely agree - really played with your mind and had an emotional edge to it.
I ranked "The Very Pulse" #9 out of the 9 episodes......
Reminded me a little to Zima Blue from Season 1 in its depth and mindfuckery
@@FR33_PALESTIN33 L
Ikr, the ending just gave me goosebumps!!!
I like Bad Travelling. The decisions the captain has to do ☠️
I like Mason’s Rats and Jibaro for sure, such a visual masterpiece
Really have a hard time seeing it as a masterpiece. I think it's good for sure, but not for me
I loved that episode, but the more I kept watching, the more sus it became. Jokes aside, it contends well with Zima Blue and The Aquila Rift
Bad travellng is definitely my favorite too. It's basically the trolley problem on a boat: kill 7 on the boat or 700 on the island?
@@samuelwood8010 how so?
@@keithcheng4671 and the fact that it revealed to be trolley problem at the end , before hand it seemed like he was trying to do what the crew wanted ,
Then we have their intentions revealed ,
And he also gets rid of the creature ,
You can call it "the captain outsmarts everyone" and nothing changes
Jibaro and Bad Travelling are both tied for top place for me, for entirely different reasons. Bad Travelling is a grim gory Lovecraftian horror tale on the high seas that could easily be a feature-length movie. Jibaro is peak Love Death + Robots in that it's abstract, steeped in metaphor, visually stunning, and pure art.
Couldn't agree more both sides of what makes l. D. R. So amazing and a true diamond
Funny you used the term lovecraftian when Cthulhu himself is in this season.
And I think we got some returning animators this season too. I’m certain Jibaro has the same animator as The Witness from season 1 and Mason’s Rats has the animator from the Dump
@@robbieking4070 You're correct, the studio that did the Witness also did Jibaro. Judging from style alone, The Swarm looks like it was done by the people who made Beyond the Aquila Rift.
Personally I like Bad Traveling more because of the moral dilemma in it
To tell you the truth, I interpreted Jibaro a little differently.
The soldier "Jibaro" gets lost to his group at the beginning and his fellow soldier has to bring him back, which suggested to me that he was in a place he didn't know. His outfit is also kinda reminiscent of the Spanish conquistadors who committed atrocities against the indigenous people in South America for gold.
The Golden Siren only begins to sing after Jibaro takes one of the golden scales from her lake and hides it from his fellow warriors. I think her song was meant for Jibaro because he 'robbed' her, not the other men. But in the end they all die.
When she fails to drown Jibaro, she becomes intrigued and tries to seduce him. But Jibaro only has eyes for the gold that the Golden Siren is wearing. Before they kiss, he rips another Scale from her and it's clear to see that the gold is fused to her skin as blood flows from the spot where it was ripped. Therefore it would be difficult to take it all.
The moment they kiss together and Jibaro is cut by her lips and tongue, he realizes that she is capable of hurting him despite his deafness and decides to kill her.
He then strips her body of all its gold, the only thing of value to him, and throws her remains into the river. As such, blood is the bearer of life and death, so it is symbolic that the Golden Siren will be resurrected and Jibaro will be healed by it.
In the final scene, I noticed that when Jibaro sinks to the bottom, you can't see his face. It's like he's just one of many. While the Golden Siren shows human emotion for the first time in the final minutes. (Until then her face was hidden behind a golden mask) When she realizes what has happened, her first reaction is to cover herself as if she was naked. She can't even 'sing' in the first two attempts, she sounds like a broken woman. She only manages to perform one dance figure before giving up on any other attempts at dancing and instead just starts screaming.
For me, Jibaro is a story about greed while being also a metaphor for rape, where a woman is reduced to a sexual object and denied any humanity.
Definitely agree. They are absolutely conquistadors.
I also thin jibaro could also represent once bejewelled, Latin American indigenous culture. Their treasure stolen, languages lost. It was left injured just like the siren.
I also thin jibaro could also represent once bejewelled, Latin American indigenous culture. Their treasure stolen, languages lost. It was left injured just like the siren.
I think that's an absolutely Amazing interpretation and honestly the closest one to my thoughts as I watched it for the first time.
I love the explanations every one is saying for jibaro i agree with the comment here saying they dont look like Spanish conquistadors, they look more south east asian/ thai ( only because Spanish soldiers wouldn't be tattooed like jibaro or have a nose ring)
This was waaay better than volume 2
Yeah volume 2 was terrible imo
#1: Bad Travelling
#2: Jibaro
#3: Don't have sex in graveyards
Man.. kill team kill was hilarious lol.. really underrated episode, i can feel the incredible passion behind it.. its like bunch of kids in 90s who's in middle school work on it. Love it.
Its broforce
they really had me bond with the lil missile robot and feel sad when it got crushed all in under like 3 minutes lmfaooo it was such a good story
i feel like that episode couldve been a great tv show
It’s my favourite episode
@@disgrace8929 ye
Im only a few episodes in but Season 3 feels like such an improvement over Season 2.
Masons Rats and Kill Team Kill have been pretty good.
Is Jibaro done by the same Studio who did The Witness in season 1?
They feel just long enough to fully take advantage of the concepts they are exploring.
Plus an improvement on the endings as opposed to feeling as if they've been cut off earlier then usual.
Ye i think witness is made from the same people (trust me Bro i probably read It up somewhere)
I disagree, season 2 was better. I felt the opposite in terms of endings, these one felt like they ended without really giving you that gut punch or bigger message making you question things.
@@Dezzyyx completely disagree but I respect your opinion
@@Dezzyyx funny enough thats exactly what season two lacked for me, they never left me wanting more or feeling fulfilled they just ended
@@dominquebanton9758 I'm gonna have to rewatch season 2
Agree that Bad Traveling was the best one. It had me the most engaged and sitting at the edge of my seat.
To me, Bad Travelling is one of those Stories that really nails the coffin as a Hit. It's Dark, Scary, suspenseful and Thrilling. Taking segments from the Lovecraftian element, it really makes it feel like a Lovecraftian story.
Troy Baker NAILED Torrins character. An Anti-Hero Protagonist who is willing to do anything to save innocent lives from peral by doing the deeds that others may see Cold-Blooded and Horrifying. But if it meant the safety of Phaiden Island and its people, it must be done.
This made me feel horror unlike anything I have ever watched. No jumpscares or cue-ups to moments that make you shiver, just the atmosphere, plot and twists.
And David Fincher, the director of MANY masterpieces (Fight Club, Se7en, and the game) was directing this, which made this episode 10 times better than it usually was.
A 100/10 Episode.
Great Writing, Direction, Voice Acting, Animation and visuals.
Bad Traveling was so good, the artstyle was my favorite and was everything I've ever wanted explored in the animation medium.
It had supernatural aspects but managed to stay grounded, top notch voice acting and animation.
100/10
I agree with almost all the ranking, the only think I would have changed would be 'the very pulse of the machine', I'd put that higher. I'm not sure what it was, but it had me mesmerised the whole way through! Anyways, great list! 😁
I put "Pulse" at #2 just behind Jibaro. To me "The very pulse of the machine" was an intriguing metaphysical journey. I have already watched it 3 times.
I saw that episode as a mix of science, spirituality and religion.
The drugs were spiritual.
But the idea of living after death is an acknowledgement of an after life, which is religious. But the twist is the afterlife has a scientific theme, that the neurons/brain/soul becomes apart of the planet...
This is true to what happens to all living things. Once us humans die, our atoms remain on earth, becoming it.
Although we do not keep our consciousness. But the part where she reaches out to the satellite, is like a ghost or an angel reaching out to mortals.
Whatt extends the religious metaphor, is the eye of Jupiter. It reminds of the eye from "The Great Gatsby," where it symobolizes God looking at us.
If the eye represents God, then her pulling her friend's dead body can be seen as a trail to heaven?... I dont know about the trail part. But i do believe Jupiter represent God.
@@dipteshrai5979 I absolutely love this analysis! Thank you for telling me this!
@@zombielime4946 thank you. I was feeling insecure because no one else seemed to bring that point..
It was a very metaphorical piece and the artist is the only one to know what it means. The fact that I can project my perspective is a testament to it’s artistry.
That one was the most pretentious and wannabe philosophical shit I've ever seen.
Mason’s Rats is the perfect episode and epitome of the entire show.
Love, the affection Mason had for his cat and how he came to care for the rats seeing the devastation he had unwittingly caused
Death, Must I explain the piles of dead rats
Robots, the scorpion robot and drones
My favorite was The Swarm, followed by Jibaro. In Vaulted Halls Entombed wouldve been really great if it expanded on the origin and background of the monster and monsters.
The fact that people have so wildly different opinions about this series is great, juxtaposed to sparking no conversation. Some people may love a certain episode while others hate it. It's all up to personal taste.
Yup. I fucking hated Jibaro…noisy, shaky cam footage…blech. Stupid story. I felt nauseous.
But others love it. Oh well 🤷🏻♂️
@@baleksander000 Can't agree more😶really don't get why they like this so much.
@@baleksander000 yep, it was the worst for me

The very pulse of the machine went over everyone’s head for sure very philosophical and brang up a lot of Socrates and other great thinkers ideas
Big machine go big brain
If you have the subtitles on you’d see the ending of the one with Cthulhu it says the women is “whispering in alien language” implying that her mind was taken over and maybe she just cut out her own eyes to get the images of what she’s unleashed into the world out of her head…
Jibaro was a true work of art!! 😭 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
This was a tight season. Every episode had something good to it, either questions or smiles.
My top three would be 'The very pulse of the machine', 'Swarm' and 'In vaulted hills entombed' for the sheer possibilities that these can be made into their own movies with captivating stories.
I definitely can see "In Vaulted Halls Entombed" as a movie.
Funny enough those were some of my least favorites
@@silverairball7931 It's alright, this only proves that different people have different tastes. While I love the sci-fi genre and the realistic visuals of "Swarm" and "In vaulted halls entombed ", somebody might like more creative and original style rather than realism. I also didn't like "Kill team kill" and "Mason's rats", because in my opinion the story was written very lazily, even though the visuals of the "Mason's rats" were great.
I loved the one with the mini zombie invasion for one simple reason....after I finished watching it came to me..."What if this is the way god sees the world?" I mean if that were true I wouldn't blame him for all the mayhem and chaos because it's just too damn entertaining.
In the end of Jibaro when the siren was cofused and showed some emotions... it was too human... I cried.
Jibaro was the best from all 3 seasons for me. Bad travelling was the second!)
THIS, I wasn't a big fan of it when I started the episode (I thought I found my number 9 posibly) until the siren lays down with him and I became interested. What really convinced me was the ending scene where the siren started crying. I felt no real connection to the characters (or at least I thought so) but even so I almost started crying when I saw this scene, still so clueless about it.
@@misterentername8869 isn't that art, something that moves you and you don't understand exactly why

6. Pop squad (2 season)
7. The Witness (1 season)
8. The drowned giant (2 season)
9. Masons rats (3 season)
10. Three robots (1 season)
Elite ranking, mine is almost the same
Yup!!! Mine is pretty same too but with a slight change, just replace "Mason's Rats" with "The Very pulse of machine" for god sake!!!!
Very similar to my ranking
I don’t get the appeal of Jibaro. But hands down the best episode was Bad Traveling. Amazing artwork and story.
Agreed. I thought it was the worst episode in this season. My wife and I felt nauseous trying to watch it. I didn’t care for the story and the noisy chimes. My son liked it. 🤷🏻♂️
I agree with you though, i don’t really get the love for Jibaro. But hey it’s cool people liked it.
Bad Traveling was the best episode overall, and one of the best of all three seasons.
I think just texturally it has a lot to work with, the entire episode is a metaphor for multiple things, like a toxic relationship and and the invasion of the Spanish conquistadors. The art style and cinematography are groundbreaking and unique. Each frame carefully thought out. I personally am just in awe with the way Alberto Mielgo’s styles his animation, I’m actually studying animation and I can say rn that Jibaro is the most impressive by far, yes, it’s not the most realistic but I don’t gauge the best animation on how realistic it is (actually I find the more realistic the style the stiffer the animation, watch the mouth movement on in vaulted halls entombed you’ll see what I mean, most of the shots when they’re talking are with their face facing away from the camera). Everyone’s allowed their own opinion, these are just my thoughts tho.
Btw I’m not taking away from in vaulted halls entombed, it’s in top 3 fav shorts this season for sure. It’s just almost impossible to animate fluid facial expressions in the time they were given to animate this short. I just personally get peeved when all the hyper realistic shorts get praise when the creative styles get the short end of the stick.
@@peanutarts8392I get what you're saying. That kind of animation is very close to being very realistic but since it's not quite there, it gives uncanny valley vibes sometimes.
That's exactly my top nine, man! Great vid! I really need at least more 9 episodes. Best season to date
Glad you agree! And same! Eagerly awaiting season 4
Can't get enough of it... watched all episodes more times then I would like to admit. Keep em coming!
I think the execution of the story in Bad Travelling was what made the episode from a good one to an excellent one. The visuals, color scheme, the score, lighting, character models and the excellent performances created a very immersive atmosphere like the one in Se7en. Fucking love Fincher
Night of the mini dead is my favourite, shit was so funny and it was so much in just 5 minutes. Its just a stupid little short, and I adore it
Honestly my favorite episodes for ldr is probably the lovecraftian-esque ones. Like one of my absolute favorite genres are a mix of horror and mystery. And lovecraftian horror is a perfect mixture of both. That’s why Vaulted Halls, Bad traveling, and pulse of the machine are my favorites this season.
Wasn’t there are Cthulhu reference in swarm, the vomit eater?
Mason's rats got the best ending amd bad travelling got the best story
Bad Travelling is probably the best episode in the entire show, Pop Squad is a close second though, but the animation was amazing, the story was really well structured and the main character and the Thanapod both had enough personality to carry the episode, also can we just acknowledge how smart the main character was, like that dude was scary good at playing people 10/10
Jibaro >>>
Jibaro and Bad Travelling were perfect, but The Very Pulse of the Machine is my favorite from this season, and maybe from the whole series. The animation was both trippy and visually pleasing, the soundtrack gripped me, and the story even moved me a bit. Overall tho, absolutely loved this third season, and I hope we get more from this series
Ive always felt that a halmark signature of a great short story is that you want to learn more about the world the story is set in. And so far, LDR has done in incredible job of getting the hooks in.
Was exceptionally happy with Vol 3 and if we do get more i eagerly await to see what other exciting tales we receive.

'Night of the Mini Dead' is hilarious as fuck, and should be much higher on this list. That's flagrant placing it at 9.
'Swarm' and 'Mason's Rats' alone should be below it.
As much as I enjoyed Mini, Swarm deserves to stand well above it.
I think you just value other aspects of the story, mini was fun but also last for me. It just didnt hit me emotionally and didnt have a message

Jibaro is my favorite.
Damn. I think Jibaro is the greatest short movie I ever saw… I was absolutely shocked by it’s intensity.
Only just caught up with the whole series but Jibaro..... that episode is hands down one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces of animation I've ever seen. The visuals, audio design, choreography, cinematography, everything is absolutely incredible.
It's something that's going to stick with me forever.

I am more a straight forward guy
I thought I was the only one who didn't LOVE Jibaro....the Art style is AMAZING! But the story was underwhelming imo. It's just a story about greed really.
Bad Travelling was my favourite from this volume. I thought everything came together really well in this one. The psychology between the main character and the rest of the crew, the difficult moral choices and the twists as well. And the creature was pretty gruesome and terrifying too.
this is exactly what my list would look like!
Im kinda shocked tough... in vaulted halls entombed was a story from my favorite Netflix show about my favorite book genre and it still only managed to get 3rd place. Not that the epsiode was bad but it just shows how great this season has been to me.
Bad Travelling even was my favorite of the volume the lead character was really fun watching and seeing the ending of him out smarting his crew and wiping them out and later the crab was a big highlight, the music and art style fits well with the episode, this episode might be my one of my favorites for the series as a whole I can't tell how it puts up with Zima blue
Honestly this is your only Love, Death, Robots list I can personally agree with. I had completely different ratings and feelings about the episodes in Season 1 and 2, however in Season 3, we have almost the same Ranking. Very good list I agree!
Glad you think so!
1) 'BAD TRAVELLING' 👌👌👌It's was like an epic nautical horror film from beginning to end compressed into 20 mins.
2) 'SWARM' Could've been longer but very intriguing idea. Often the big ideas don't have enough episode time so points for that.
3) 'IN VAULTED HALLS ENTOMBED' I was not expecting a Cthulhu themed episode but hot damn we got one. This series lends itself perfectly to cosmic horror.
These were my top favorites of this season.
So far volume 3 are full of amazing shorts. My favoritr volume for sure.
Kill team kill was my favorite, the comedic timing was perfect!
Really hope Bad Travelling gets a feature release, or a series, man that was an amazing episode
the swarm one was the best for me, still think about it often. so fkn chilling
I can’t bring myself to rank them, I’m just glad to have an animated anthology that is going for it. My understanding is that this series is taking up where heavy metal left off, and I really appreciate their effort. Finally, can one of the studios revisit Harry canyon from heavy metal? Buy the rights, or something...would love to see what Harry did with all those crono dollars :)
My Top. Season 3 was the best season so far.
9. Kill team kill

1. Jibaro
Personally, I rank the LDR episodes in three categories (all personal opinions): Bad episodes, good episodes, and rewatchable episodes, personally this season brought two rewatchable episodes in Kill Team Kill and Night of the Mini Dead, and maybe Bad Traveling, but it also had some of my least favorite episodes out of the series in The Very Pulse Of The Machine, In Vaulted Halls Entombed, and Jibaro. Its interesting to see how you placed value on episodes in contrast to me. Great video!
The sound design of bad traveling is just 🤌🏼🤌🏼
“Kill team kill” was 100% made for veterans. My personal favorite.
Bad traveling was amazing, I loved the art style, the setting, the story telling, the symbolism, it was damn near perfect
Pretty much was!
@@BrainPilot After learning David Fincher directed the episode, its no surprise it was so good
Nice opinions, i agree with some
I am just happy that a dancing conquistador is a believably real thing. Congrats Netflix for pushing that boundary again. I have re-watched every episode again and mostly agree with your ranking but disagree with final 2. But finding differing interpretations about a story is what makes a great film. I think the Captain knew there was only one way he would survive and the island was his story the marks had to believe. As for Jibaro I will say the she has is like an onion...with layers.
JIBARO was, by far, THE BEST in my opinion . It was simply a masterpiece! The perfect finale to LDR Season 3! Can't wait for Season 4!
jibaro is peak LD&R
funny how opinions can differ , i think night of the mini dead was in my top4 in season three. I see your points though and will keep them in mind for my second time watching
I fully agree with this ranking
We have exactly the same ranking except I'd put Swarm higher than In Vaulted Halls Entombed or maybe put them on same level
Interesting choice! But good to see we've got similar rankings
Great season 👏
where do you get the solider is just retaking the gold of his people? its inspired by cortez cursed gold
Yoh they just level up man this so sick and serious ill give it a 3000/3000 yo the Mason rat was dope
Swarm explains a body system working, as explained by PHSantos. You should see his channel. Lovely ranking by the way. Cheers.
I agree with your ranking, but not with all of your interpretations. I have a few corrections.
1. Night of the Mini-dead: Doesn't happen on a mini-planet, but rather on Earth. The "mini" aspect of it comes from the episode's whole point, which is how meaningless and small we truly are. There could be a crazy zombie apocalypse that escalates into an all out global nuclear war, but it would make no difference in the bigger picture, which is shown to us in the ending, when it pans out and makes us realize how unnoticeable all of that was from afar.
2. The Very Pulse Of The Machine: Not a planet, Io is one of Jupiter's moons, you can even see Jupiter all through out the episode. What's funny is that IO refers to any device, program or operation that transfers data, which is exactly what the jovian moon is supposedly doing. Burton's voice could be used by Io to manipulate Martha, but it's stated that Burton is being used bc her brain is almost intact and the moon can use her neurons as a way to transfer data to itself and to Martha via radio waves. ("radio is medium")
3. Jibaro: "Jibaro" is a word used to refer to a native tribe from Ecuador. The soldiers are very clearly spanish invaders, the armor gives it away. She's not a woman, but a siren. There are several legends of sirens in America told by the spanish soldiers that came here. Gold and women were the spanish soldiers main objectives during the colonization of America, which is very fitting with the siren's design. She doesn't cut him, she bites him, for she is a siren, not a woman. He doesn't knock her out bc of it, he approaches her from the get go bc of her gold and beauty, I think he intended to take her gold from the beginning. He doesn't reclaim what belonged to his people, he gave in to his desires. It is a critic towards the spanish colonization of Latin America. The fact that her voice leads them to their demise by being unable to control themselves is very fitting too.
Thank you, thank you, for your interpretation of Jibaro. It seems so obvious. Odd that channel didn't get it. I guess ones cultural point of view matters.
@@angrywarriboy I think most people went with the interpretation that the creator of the episode said it was about. A toxic relationship. Everyone wants everything to be about colonization these days.

The characters, the comedy, the graphics, the story, the fact that it's the only sequel in the series and IMO the face of the series. It can't NOT be #1.....

for bad travelling, troy baker's voice was a surprise for me especially since he was using his pagan min voice compared to like sam drake or joel miller. loved this episode
night of the mini dead deserves an oscar
in vaulted halls entombed and bad travelling were amazing.
Torrin is not the captain of the vessel, he's the first mate. That's why he had to draw straws, hold a vote and why he had to retrieve the gun from the safe with a key regurgitated by the thanopod, unless a part of Torrin possessing the key was consumed by the thanopod, it's very obvious he's not the capitain.
I love the three robots and their “field trips” into the demise of humanity. I’m glad that they added another episode this season. I hope that more episodes featuring their outings will continue with the series.
And more Cthulhu!!!
Absolutely loved Jibaro, Bad Travelling and Vaulted Halls. In that order. Mini Dead and Three Robots were so cute and funny and I liked them a lot for that reason. Mason's rats is also very nice but somewhat floats in the middle until you get Kill Team Kill, Pulse and Swarm that I liked the least.
That woman from Jibaro is so oddly attractive
1. Bad Travelling - Thrilling story, even with the huge plot hole
2. Jibaro - According to a german proverb genius and madness is close together. I vote for the genius side here, but narrowly. Alone the idea of a siren and a deaf knight is fascinating.
3. Masons Rats - Mirroring the terminator-idea with us humans as the terminator is fine.
4. The very pulse - small plot but nicely executed
5. Night of the mini - short, slightly funny and mostly meaningless
6. Three Robots vol2: Not good,, not really bad either
7. In vaulted halls - Oh no, again soldiers against strange creatures
8. Swarm - Ugly
9. Kill team - Oh no, again soldiers against strange creatures, but this time with morons.
Can someone explain what kind of make up was she wearing in jibaro? It’s the best waterproof makeup.
Cgi is the best make up
Can’t agree more with bad traveling. This episode make me watching again and again.
”…and of course it went rogue”
So far I prefer
1. Bad traveling
2. In Vaulted Halls Entombed
3. Mason's rats
3. night of the mini dead
4. Three Robots: Exit Strategies
You don’t like jibaro?
@@ceeri9729A lot of dancing, screaming and madness.
The captain's cleverness in bad travelling gave tommy shelby vibes
