BAND OF BROTHERS Episode 5 Breakdown & Ending Explained
I went into this series expecting a lot more action, but was not at all disappointed by what we got instead.
What about dexs dad being a creep?!?
my only critique was i wished there was a little bit more combat. everything else was great!
I still hate the ending, but am glad some ppl enjoyed lol
Amazing show! ✝️
I was just searching on Netflix this weekend, Decided to watch and I was blown away! The ending was perfect! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Why did house windows blow out but the car windows were left intact??
i loved this series, great storytelling with no "modern message" or forced diversity
The whole show is perfect. I am rewatching, and every detail is perfectly in place. Watching with Toranaga‘s studying the wind in mind, and his secret heart. An incredible character! He misses nothing and i think Muraji is definitely not his only spy!
There's actually another quite plausible explanation that I haven't seen mentioned, but actually has a precedent set in the series already. He could have gotten married to a woman and started his own little family. As someone pointed out, Reynolds and Brimsley could NEVER have ben officially together in the society they were living in, on pain of death. So, Brimsley's comment on who would be free to spend a lifetime with him might just as well reference the fact that him and his lover were not "free" to choose each other as lifetime companions, so his lover chose another, one who had the freedom to accompany him.
We want season 3 please
His honesty with his masculinity is inspiring ❤
Will there be a new season? They can’t leave us off like this 🔥
No one wants to notice that the bartender looks a tiny bit like Darrien? In a sense, he's confronting himself and his abusers at the same time....
I started to watch it and after the second series I gave up. I didn’t know it was based on a true story, also I heard on the morning show in Australia that it gets better, so I started to watch it from the beginning. I’m so glad I watched all of it, it’s so raw and compelling. Kudos to the two protagonist, they brought out so much intensity in this series. Brilliant movie incredible acting. I will watch it again.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a show have such a profound affect on me. I didn’t even know until after watching it that the Donny is acted by the same man this story is based off of.
Yeah he was incredible!
i actually really liked the storyline and the acting. the ending was just quite weak, it felt like it had so many things missing within it. Maybe if it wasn't only 9 episodes, it could have been something more.
No one can understand unless they have been through it. It's like mental illness or any condition, everyone feels differently. As well as feeling empathy and compassion for other people, no one is perfect and I feel absolute understanding for how he feels and even some compassion for her. This is unfiltered, unvarnished imperfect humans as we really are. I applaud and appreciate the bravery of this man. The story is compelling, well written, brilliantly acted, and directed perfectly. Watch this on your own or with a friend, you will need a box of tissues. This is exceptional and you will want to binge watch it.
The fact that they ended the series on the shot of Toranaga standing alone was a MARVELOUS callback to the Taiko telling him that the man who stands at the top is the loneliest man on Earth. That more than anything told us that Toranaga would in fact become Shogun... and thus be alone.
I was on Carver’s side, until he started killing people who had nothing to do with his girlfriend’s death
Not a mention of how they spent about half of the season reworking a main character in order to coddle to an actresses change in her personal life. She signed on to play a CHARACTER, she should have stayed with that character and if she refused then they could have recast. So much time was wasted on validating Ellen Page's choice to transition that could have been used to tie together loose ends and create a satisfying narrative. Season 3 was by far the worst season. She was transitioned for two days. She snuck around for secret meeting with the Sparrows, withheld information from her family about who killed their moms and smuggled said villain out without consulting the family, then was chosen as Best Man by Luther... what???
We learn that it is not only about stalking but trauma bonding. We know nothing about her past but learn everything about his, his journey to try to escape and how he remains trapped in the false comfort of abuse. Wow a masterpiece, not to mention the brilliant performances ❤
Yeah you're totally right! The performances were incredible
from season 5 every AHS season finale is rushed. They will give a mysterious first half then a disappointing second half then a rushed finale. AHS in 1 sentence. It end it's prime on season 3
I've seen Are You Afraid of The Dark episodes that have better endings then this.
It killed me listening to the voicemail where she explained the baby reindeer and then going back to the courtroom scene where she kept saying "my little reindeer". I felt so bad. As wrong as it sounds, i wished he gave her a chance
I just didn’t get it personally
Yeah it felt deliberately rushed at the end!
Am I the only one who hated Jonah and Ruth. Both characters get on my nerves so bad in the final season
THE LAST SEASON OF THIS SHOW ANS IT SUCKED ASS. RYAN DROPPED THE BALL SO SO HARD
The show was great but Toronaga is a psychopath. A real politician similar to House of Cards.
I dunno John looked Ike a half stoned space monkey through the series. Prefer the 1980 version.
Freakshow is when AMHS started its decline. When Ryan said the script was stolen the show has not been the same. That was YEARS ago.
Paulette Hernandez aka Valentina had a small live on facebook. She was given the option of either the brain surgery trap or the gigli saw. She did remarkably well with the acting
just finished, started today, finished today. absolutely perfection
It really is!
It's suck suck
I feel like they only wrote good for 6 eps overall but FX has to stretch it into 9, hence the short eps.
Its over for AHS. Call it quits.
It's a shame if it is!
Ending Explained from Reddit: In episode 7, the witches circle Adeline, Ivy says "You have no power other than what she gives you" then Sonia says "and takes away". So Adeline had power, it got taken away by Siobhan once she left the cult, which explains why the chant failed for her at the restaurant, because she didn't have power. Siobhan later gives Anna power when she accepts the baby and is given the green heels. Anna is able to cast the chant/ ritual at Siobhan with the power Siobhan gave her. The witches are bloodbound, and die together. Poor execution of the Finale overall. The writer put too much faith in the audiences to remember the lore (Ep7). And no recap for Part 1.
A great fucking show. Richard Gadd deserves an award for his acting. Bloody amazing. PS best show of the year in my opinion sent from my iPhone
Wow to be honest I only watched this show because I thought the translator was fine but despite the fact I almost stopped watching after she died. I'm glad I watch the end. I felt like thy should have drug the show out more but whn torenaga Said I dnt need him. he just makes me laugh. An my enemies need a distraction. Saving black thorn was torenaga's plan all along because he came to warn him about the war outside the war with them selfs. Hits the 8 figure fence in the willo world. A world with out war is a nice sentiment. Well at least the Priest thought so. Kind of puts you in the mind frame of the promise land. In America society don't it.
I haven’t fully watched it yet so the break won’t effect me but I can get past episode 2
That's fair enough!
I hate that I was tricked to watch 7 episodes of the garbingo.
The whole show suck suck suck suck stop making them if yall can't get it's right.Suck SUCK
I figured they didn’t show the battle because Toranaga explained exactly what would happen.. that it would be fairly uneventful because Lady Ochiba would send notice that she was pulling the heir’s army out of the conflict and the regents would turn on each other. I didn’t read the book though, so it’s possible I’m missing something.
Poorly done series. Glad it’s over.
I had to stop half way through episode 6 cause I was forgetting what was going on. Decided to re-watch 1984 and am blown away with how good that season was compared to newer season.
yaa but how is he alive if not in valut how is not a ghoul her father is a android which is way too early or im missingsomething? plase help how can ghoul cowboy know someone from 230 years ago
I had to come to this video to check whether or not it was the finale episode. Safe to say me and my husband are extremely disappointed. I’m seriously praying for the show’s future and hope it doesn’t get cancelled just yet…
A modern update of Rosemary's Baby is a super interesting idea, the execution of that idea was terrible!
Yeah it's a real shame!
Cosmo jarvis ... blackthorne..unbelievably terrible "acting." Ruined it for me..😢
Definitely will be in my top shows this year along with Shogun. I’ve never seen anything like this & glad it’s getting the attention it deserves!
Yeah both were incredible!
