The PW billet shifter is actually good. I have it on my car for 3 years now. As long as u get the Ktuned billet shifter stops and install those on there, u can shift as crazy as u want, without wrrying about stretching the shift cables. I honestly saved a lot of money this way.
I didn't get the Ktuned shift arm, but i believe it isn't that hard. Just remove bolts from bottm and the assembly should come off from the plate i believe.
hey man, really don't get all the hate, very helpful comparison. Just for your info, it seems you can use the ktuned shifter stops so you wont strech your cables :)
Wait how did the shifter box break the cable? The throw is still shorter than stock. Wouldnt man the stock box can break your cable?I personally think it was your new bracket that broke the cable especially from where it broke. Or you broke the cable during the install. Cause having a long throw compared to ktuned is one thing. But they're both shorter than stock so how does that make sense?
He must’ve not installed them correctly. The bracket is adjustable and maybe it wasn’t in the correct holes, or maybe shifting too hard? Idk had mine for years and never had an issue. I have a rep Ktuned but got it from a reputable manufacturer and it works and feels exact same as the ktuned for 1/3 the price. The throw he’s referring to will be exactly the same with both of the shifters once the cables are installed. This is why ktuned specifically sells little billet blocks that act as stops so you can’t push the cables too far.
K tuned is where is my brother the knock off one it always be a knock off I had all 3 Oem Chinese and K tuned and If u don’t have K tuned money OEM box would be my choice....but I like I say on the video buy it don’t buy it I’m not telling u to go buy K tuned....just giving u my 2 cents of the two....I paid $500 for my K tuned shifter box since u were wondering bud
They are both Chinese made
Lol probably made my the same factory tbh

So the ktuned billet shifter stops will install on the rep shifter no problem?
@@geoff0707 direct plug and play. The PW billet shifter is an exact rep. U can even used the ktuned lock out on it as well no problem.
@@Chue_Media98 thank you very much for this info man!
what cables are you running?
Ktuned makes the shifter stops so you don’t stretch or break cables!
Super helpful! Sorry you lost $100 but it helped us all out.

I think the rep's throws are too long that pushed the cables
I have the Knock off one and have been using it for 4years on my RSX and Kswap Ek. Don’t know how you broke your cables smh
If I not not mistaken ktuned cables should hold the strength
Thanks for that info
Good info!
Thanks!
Maybe try with bump stop. Bet that would help.
You bought two Chinese shifters
Bro breaking transmission and cables lol he definitely don’t know what he is doing never heard of that happening with a shift box
just put a rubber pad on the chinese shifter... problem solved
