K-Tuned Race-Spec Billet RSX Shifter Install

Installing a K-Tuned Race-Spec Billet RSX Shifter in a customer's EG. No-nonsense step by step basic install. I can't stand non-captive nuts in hard to reach places so I'm welding flanged nuts inside the tunnel for those two front bolts, that's why you'll see the included nylocks sitting in front of the assembly.

Where are the shifter cables coming from? From heater core?

I bought bull boost shifter and didn't buy the same brand cables but it won't go over into first or 2nd it locks

How do you know if you need to adjust the cables or not ? Want to make sure I’m going fully into the gears but not too far so I don’t stretch the cables.
