Do you know anyone who has ever been kicked out of an all-you-can-eat buffet?
There are plenty of professional eaters who post youtube videos of themselves where they've gotten cut off from buffets and told no more.

Yes
My mom
My mom who was skinny
"You here four hour! Why you still here? You go NOW."
Why anyone could stay at a buffet for 4 hours is beyond me?
The one above me didn't get the joke....😂
@@Boxpok "There he go again!"
@@Boxpok I'm sorry..I don't have your sense of humor.I didn't get your joke there.
😂😂 I actually read that in the voice 😅
In the 90s, there was a family we knew who every Sunday would go to Golden Corral at lunch and stay until closing time. That was the first buffet I ever saw enact the 2 hour time limit, but they did it for a solid year or two, I believe.
i wish i could eat enough to get kicked out, but i've failed everytime
Yeah, me too because one or two plates will do for me.
At my age I don't eat like I used to. I used to kill a 16 oz steak and potato. Now I can only handle half that. I do remember at the whale harbor inn in key largo, they had all you can eat snow crab legs. amazing!
I used to go to buffets but not anymore 😢
Back in the early 90s. My uncle was the General manager of a Ryans steakhouse and buffet. This lady came in early afternoon apparently and stayed for 6 hours just eating and eating. From what my uncle told us,he went up to her nicely and said."I'm sorry ma'am but 6 hours is more than ample time etc etc. next thing he knows she's flopping around saying "this aints happenings.Im gonna call the cops" They had to remove her by force and told her to never come back. This was in Memphis TN.
I believe you.
This happened a couple years before I was born but my parents and some friends were kicked out of a sizzler in Hawaii for eating too much shrimp 🦐 😂
If you want entertainment, show up about 45 mins before dinner prices apply at the Chinese buffet place. You can then see others come in and pay lunch prices but try to eat the dinner-only foods. Also you can then watch violent arguments between those people and the owners. Loads of laughs i promise you!
I did that often at casino buffets and never had a problem.
I brought my own massive plate and bowl and fork and knife in a big tope bag and used that I ate 12 big plates of pricy meat fish steak etc I got my money worth
@@sexygeek8996Casinos are not Chinese buffet places. Go try it there.
I did that sometimes at Old Country, at first probably by accident. No one seemed bothered.
Usually if I don't eat something on my plate from the buffet, it's because it tastes shitty.
I've seen some single people with plates full of cracked crab legs and several other plates piled high at a buffet and they were there when we walked in and were still going full speed after we left.
I know a guy who is a 6' 6" former football linebacker. He told me he and 4 other friends of similar size would go to "All you can eat" buffets and give the owners heart attacks with the amount they would eat. He told me that several restaurants would refuse them service if the tried to come again. One owner began screaming at them to get out as soon as they tried to walk in the door.
They can refuse service when you enter or tell you never to come back after you're done. The problem occurs when they try to kick you out while you're still eating.
@@sexygeek8996true, and that’s breaking contracts so you don’t have to pay or if they force you to pay you can dispute the charge because the banks will see that you didn’t get your full service you paid for.
I live in Nevada, the home of the buffet. The wife and I met some friends at one of the few casino buffets in town -- $140 for the two of us. It was Easter and they were serving watered-down Mimosas, but during normal times it's still $100 for the two of us. I think that one of the reasons for the high price is (a) inflation, and (2) the amount of food that gets wasted. People will fill their plates high with food and them eat half, set it aside and go for another plate. At the Easter buffet I saw a bus boy carrying a tub of dirty dishes away and it was piled high with uneaten crab. It's obvious that part of the high price is to cover the cost of wasted food.
'Tis no man. 'Tis a remorseless eating machine. Arrr...
Yes, we were in Vernal Utah about 7-8 years ago. There was a buffet lunch we were eating at. Then there were a group of Russians on motorcycles came in. One of the ladies took a fork and just went to sampling all the foods. Not on a plate, just stuck her fork in, ate it and went to the next. She was asked to leave. So all of them left.😅
There’s actually a Simpsons episode about this😮
I will not go to a buffet again. People using their fingers to serve themselves and kids doing the same, staff not wearing gloves or hair nets, people piling their plate with just one thing leaving none for anyone else, no one does anything about it. I dont go out to eat at chains any longer, only 1or 2 mom and pop places and then only once a month or so now. That includes any take outs and drinks too. Used to eat out 2 times a week, no more.
Homer Simpson got kicked out of an All You Can Eat Establishment so It can happen.
did he take the all you can eat to court ?
@@thesailormercury2 Yes,Homer did.
Breakfast buffet are the only good ones.
The ones I have been to usually didn't have any meat other than bacon or breakfast sausage.
Knew guys in the army that got kicked out for eating too much
0:14: Jack Reacher!
Go to Costco on a Sunday early afternoon. Watch the families make absolute glutton of themselves on the sample items. To the point of pushing, shoving, and name calling. Feeding the whole family on free samples, then leaving without making a purchase. If it wasn't so rude and pathetic it would be hysterical.
I went to an all you can eat lasagna, after 2 they said they were out, but kept serving other customers.
I've heard that all you can eat places in Japan ban professional and sumo wrestlers.
I have only been to a buffet a couple of times (last century) and, boy, there some huge people in those places. The food isn't all that good and since all but one of the people I went with have passed I see no need to go again.
Fascinating.
I never get my monies worth so I quit going.
Buffet food gives me malodorous halitosis, crude odoriferous zephyrs, and the trots……
You can be trespassed from any property you don't own, unless you live in NYC. There you can be kicked out of your own property!
Buffets should just weigh each person as they come in and charge them by the pound. That's the fairest way.
No, the biggest eaters are often fit, such as Matt Stonie. They should just charge extra for leftovers and have a max time limit. It should be loosely enforced to where it will only be enforced for the eaters where the buffet loses money. You want the people who eat less or eat less expensive options to come back, after all.
@@Deerjason Nonsense. People like Matt are extremely rare. Watch the fatties, they ALWAYS load up on the expensive stuff and make multiple trips.
❤🎉
all you can eat is a bit misleading
to quote it says all you can eat
oh thu it does not mean you can eat all
Friend of mine got kicked out of a chinese buffy just because he had 5 plates of food.
Do these sound like the actions of a man who had 'all he could eat?'
Can you gyatt for my rizz?
I am sorry. I don't eat much buffet. They are junk and dirty!
Remember when yo mama got kicked out?
I always wanted eat all the toppings off the pizza at the buffet and see if I get shit, just eating the skin off fried chicken would probably work too 😊
If they kick me out before I'm finished and I'm not violating a posted rule like a time limit then I will refuse to pay because I didn't get what I was charged for. In places where I have to pay before eating I'll use a credit card so I can dispute the charge if that happens.
A casino manager once told me that they were more concerned about people sitting in the buffet all day and taking up space than the amount of food they ate.
I know of some European families that go out to eat and they’re at the table for close to 3 hours. However, they do more talking than eating.
Buffets yuck nasty
