I am needing your help. We have a 12 week puppy that defecates or urinates when left alone even though we’re in the same house. He doesn’t stop barking until he sees someone in front of him. He can’t stay in the crate too long or he urinates. He has separation anxiety to the max. We need help.
I just rescued a havanese mix 8 months and when I tell u she goes crazy when I leave it's an understatement. When I come home she's completely covered in saliva from excessive drooling. She works herself up to the point she overheats. She flips her water and food bowls and destroys anything left in her cage. And he cage is big enough for a pitbull to stand up and move around. Idk what else to do I'm getting a correction collar because I got a complaint from my neighbors about the barking and crying. Idk what else to do but I'm starting to consider returning her back to the shelter.
Our rescue has had separation anxiety (or more: isolation anxiety) since before we've had him. All of it has improved but we still can't leave him alone in the house and training seems to stagnate. I never know if I'm going too fast or too slow with building up trust. He goes from doing half an hour by himself and then back to getting up almost immediately after I leave the house (and then possibly panicking, so I go back inside when I see it on camera)... Do you have any insight on this? Please help!

Please help me. It’s 2.30am right now. I’ve a 12 week old pup who won’t let me leave the room or she barks the house down and it’s giving me serious anxiety. She’s a rescue I have her 4 weeks today and nothing works. I’ve had to sit with her till4am till she falls asleep and sneak up to bed, I’ve had to sleep in the sitting room for several days too. What can I do to stop her barking and waking the house and neighbours at night or every time I leave the room?
Are u dumb? Put him NEXT to your bed. Inside a cattle or his own dog bed. Why ur dog is running around neighbors?? Dont let him around free, he can escape🙄 WOW U DONT CARE, poor dog hope is okay smh

Please give me tips! My dog has way more sever and intense😢! He cry’s, he howls, barks, and he scratches his way in the wall causing a big hole in our house! My new pup has really bad seperation anxiety and gets out of the kennel, she doesnt chew on stuff but she squeels like a pig getting shot as soon as shes left alone or if she cant get on the same level as me like if im sitting in a chair, shes only 9 weeks old and i got her a few days ago so i assume this behavior is somehwat normal for a pup that just left her mom?
We are in the almost exact same situation. What did you do?
@emilgabl9069 the issue was anytime she would squeal or anything in her kennel I'd let her out and cuddle up with her, I read you shouldnt take them out until they stop squealing with you in the room and then move onto you being out of the room and not letting them out until they're calm
It worked for me after 2 days she does fine in her kennel and will just fall asleep

I've just brought in my cone corso ×duchshound home and he won't do anythinng without me -or go places and sit anywhere but near -or on me -...in a few days autumn break will be over and I don't know what is goi g to happen at home when I'll be at school for 8 hours a day 5 days a week
