Wow, that was legitimately the most heartbreaking thing I've seen in a while. Hands down the nicest Q60RS I've seen, very thoughtfully and tastefully modded. If it's totaled, hopefully he can buy it back and at least still strip all of the aftermarket parts out and transplant them into a new Q60RS. It's atrocious what this society has degraded into.
Appreciate the love! Will likely be taking the full-value check, buying Rosa back from insurance, and repairing her back to normal on my own. While also adding some additional things to turn her into more of a track-car. She'll be back for a Part 2 video one day. 💪🏼 -Patrick

As was said by another viewer...60 pounds is wheel and tire. The 18" wheel from Infinti for the Red Sport is around 30 and 31 pounds for Front and Rear. So, yes, you dropped some weight, but you didn't drop that much per wheel. You said the front wheels were 19 pounds a piece, but the description says 24. For the viewers, if you want to drop a good 20+ pounds, get a full size lithium battery. Braille group 34 will work just fine and the car cranks faster. Those brakes look great, but I doubt they were necessary (akebonos with Carbotech XP12 would be enough for your track days). How much do those calipers weigh compared to Akebonos? If you stayed with the akebonos, you could have gone the Z1 2-piece rotor in all 4 corners for a good 30 pound weight loss. Great looking car. Great work with the hood. Exhaust fitment is great. Wheel and tire fitment looks good. Sorry for your loss. Too bad that everything good will be a target. Just wondering why 20". What were you running for HPDE events. Asking because it was mentioned you do track days. For track days, what tires and wheels and what brake pads? I know the car is gone.

Did not expect that at the end, kudos to you for your next build. I’m a driver more than a tech builder, your build blew my mind as recently my wife and I got the last production Q60S red sport AWD 2022 in slate grey, put Braelin BR09 /gunmetal grey and tinted it all up to a tee. Seeing your video and that sound of precision of those turbos, wow.
For fun back in the day I used to run with the Mazda Rx crew and was a street driver of a Rx 2 / capella / bridge port / 1 ton clutch combined with drive shaft and differential enough to handle all the torque. Every gear change the wheels would spin (churp) even in over drive. Good times no one could beat us until turbos came in. Your mod is a inspiration to the good times and what the future holds for these Japanese muscle cars.
Kudos again for your next build and I look forward to the day I might do something similar to mine.

Wow. Someone stole the 640whp and crashed it. Not surprised. These thieves can't handle the power and are total idiots. Hopefully the owner can get a good payout and get another build going. As for the video, it was very well made and keep up the great work. As VR30 owner myself, I would definitely take a modded Q over a stock Supra. Would I take a modded Supra over a modded Q? I still wouldn't. I clearly know the Supra is faster modded. I clearly know the Supra is more capable. But its the vibes for me. The Supra is legit just a Z4 hard-top with a Supra bodykit and badge. Yeah. We know Toyota tuned it and did stuff to it, but I don't feel like its a "Supra". I think the "Supra" is great, but I think purist and pure JDM fans would have liked it if they called it the Celica or something else.

This was a random recommend for me. A suggestion, in a 640whp car the audience would very much like a "we are in mexico" type of pull. Some exhaust shots, something that shows a bit more of the raw performance of the car. That being said wonderful production.

I got randomly suggested this video by the algorithm. I have to say, the quality of the audio from the speaker's microphone and the quality of the footage is very good, much better than what I would expect from a channel with fewer than 100 subscribers. I would suggest experimenting with microphones under the hood to get better engine sound quality, but it honestly wasn't bad at all. I'm not sure what post processing you guys did to the footage but it looks great. Very easy on the eyes and the scenery is in my opinion beautiful (along with the car of course)
I have to say though that it kind of seems like the host is a little awkward sometimes/unsure what to with himself, but I think this is something that will remedy with more time and exposure to the camera. I think this video was great and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

The yellow calipers, drilled/slotted rotors, and brake-lines all came in a Big Brake Kit from R1 Concepts. Seamless installation, with just a tiiinnyyyy bit of cutting of the OEM dust shield. 👍🏼 -Patrick

Yep, they lost control and went sideways over a curb and abandoned it. Currently working with insurance on the repairs (airbags, rear driver suspension, and rear quarter body damage) 👍🏼

I just never understood why Infiniti never upgraded the tech. The new nissans have full digital cluster, 12in infotaiment system, etc. Infiniti never hasnt upgraded since 2012.

There's no effing way that the wheels were 60 lb each.
It is not arguable that an LSD is dangerous with any driver. It is predictable and easy to correct.
These cars are used a lot in those takeovers. I would definitely avoid vehicles commonly used in those.

Yep! Stock internals and stock transmission. As long as it’s under 700whp & 600tq it’s in a relatively safe spot. (Rosa is at 640whp & 550tq)

Why didn't you just go ahead and buy an BMW M2 Competition or a M4 Competition of even an M440i? You would get all this without having to mod anything and stock about the same price as what it cost you to mod yours. Not only that you would get a car that you could tune without having to change 1 single part, It would have a full warranty and 3 years maintenance no charge included. I do applaud your work on this car as the outside is eye candy. The transmission is just not up to the engine's capability and every single Q60 owner that I know from 2016 on that has dyno tuned this car with Ecutek has blown the turbos. The new Nismo Z has only 20 HP more than stock which in MHO is a joke and not up to the rest of the Nismo's capability including the 15" Rotors and 6 piston calipers and upgraded suspension. I would sell the turbos right after driving it off the showroom floor and buy new better aftermarket ones and do the same tune. BTW - I have a 2012 G37xS coupe (Red) with only 68K miles, never winter driven with lots of mods and aftermarket bits including a custom CF interior. I'm also dyno tunes with UpRev and planning a new tune in August with Ecutek. I have a completely custom suspension system and staggered layout with 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm in the back. I have a dual Cold Air Intake system from R2C with Vibrant dual intake cones and airboxes with rubber gaskets that close up on a Dynamat heat soak hood liner that presses down on the gasket. I too have an impressive list of bolt-ons including a Catback Exhaust from Invidia (Gemini) with Titanium blue flame exhaust tips.

Insurance paid zero for his upgrades. Insurance isn't set up to pay owner their invested value back. Insurance pays the market value plus loan "gap" if the owner is paying the gap premium fees. This guy took a huge loss. Wasn't smart anyway by sinking all those mods into a poor version of a GTR. Just go buy a GTR.
Insurance honored most of the mods on top of the value of a 2020 Red Sport with 22k miles. I didn't have Gap Insurance because I got 0% financing during Covid lockdowns, so I was never underwater with my payments going directly to the premium. So, long story short, insurance is cutting me a check that not only pays off the car, but even after buying the car back from insurance, I have enough to repair Rosa. Anyways... Time to push Rosa to 900+whp, and she'll be back for a Part 2 video filmed on the Polecat track in Tennessee in Spring 🤙🏼 -Patrick
