Yeah. I sort of regret the wider shots. They actually are not quite what the eye sees which is more like a 50mm with a full frame camera which is a bit more closer and the beams are less pencil like.

Thank you for making this video comparing these two laser flashlights. It is EXACTLY what I needed to see. I ordered the W30 from Acebeam before they discontinued it. My W30 was stolen from me and I have been looking for a suitable replacement. I bought the TK 30 because as you know the only place I could find selling the W 30 was located in Austrailia and they do not ship to the USA. I was not impressed with the TK 30 comparing it to the W 30. I live in a very rural area and on the way home I would hold the W 30 outside the drivers window pointed straight up in the sky. Friends I called to ask if they could see the light beam in the sky could see it miles away. Very unique being able to do that. I really did not use it much like my regular lights because it was just to bright for my uses. Then right after I bought and recieved the TK 30 Fenix comes out with a bigger laser light the HT30R......RATS! What do you think of the new laser Fenix HT30R ? Is it more like the W 30? I just looked up the ht30r seems like a more feature packed version of the tk30. I think they are in a similar class. Which means they are lower throw than the w30.
I actually use my tk30 more than my w30
