Because there were only 2 small sets in January releasing for Star Wars (excluding the AAT polybag) I am guessing that it would not be worth the LAN members getting the 2 sets early and that is why we have not seen any early reviews on 75372 or 75384 by LAN members.
That’s what he does when MandR beats him to the punch-happened with the 2022 Fighter Tank as well.

There were two types of Tri Droids. One much smaller it’s in the battle of Utapau in ROTS.
The scale of that one is pretty much what the battle pack is.
Just picked up two of these battle packs, superb. Much more potential to utilise pieces to make some better side clone builds. The droids are superb. 9.5/10.
Yea that’s the octuptarra combat tri-droid stands at 11.6 feet or 6.5meters
the tri-droid in the set is small and it's accurate to what it represents I think because there are two varians of tri-droids. there is octuptarra combat tri-droid which measures 3.6 meters (11 ft, 10 in) in universe and octuptarra magna tri-droid which is actually 14.59 meters (49 ft) - the big one.

Yeah. As the combat tri-droid it’s more so minifigure scale, whereas as a magna tri-droid it’s more scale with the likes of the 2016 turbo tank.
Im surprised by how many people didnt know about the combat variant, i suppose its somewhat obscure since its main appearance was in the background of episode 3 and 2003 clone wars
@@falloutgamer347 It's so weird tho. I watched Ep 3 last like 5 years ago and Clone Wars a few months ago but I still understood that there are 2 variants of these guys. It's funny to see all these reviewers and redditors whine about "omG So iNacCuRaTe!44!44!!'' when it's literally based on a canon thing
@@ihatehandleupdate i think it was the same with the 2014 212th clone troopers battlepack back in thr day, that set also had the combat tri droid and i remember alot of people commenting the same things that are being commented now about its size
I’m definitely building that AT-RT. You definitely don’t give yourself enough credit for how good these builds are.

So this is something that bothered me for a while, but there were multiple sizes of tridroid. The one they include is actually minifigure scale (for once).
Fun fact, there were different sized tri droids. The one see in TCW was the big one but there are much smaller ones.

The atrt is really good. I wish this set had a bit more pieces to make that speeder better because the builds in the 501st set were very large.
to be fair we do get 3 extra figures in this one haha

@@Max_0055 usually for legitimate figures with prints because those are at least worth more than a dollar to make. Those b1’s are the same figs we’ve had since the phantom menace sets and new super battle droids are nice but I don’t feel like the inclusion of those 5 molded figures bumps the price of the set. The 2020 501st pack had both the figures AND the builds. If you’re buying lego solely for the figures and ignoring the build well maybe you should rethink the worth of this set.

I was at my Walmart a week before Christmas and found like 15… then I went to the other Walmart in town and they also had like 15.
I’ll admit, the 501st At-Rt do look good but they are oversized, but I really like the alternative builds in this video, especially the minifigure scale At-Rt

The Tri-Droid has two size variants, The smaller Variant can be seen the Utapau scene in the background, the larger Variant is the one is seen in Mygeeto.
Since this set comes out in like 22 minutes I can’t wait to build this!
I was able to combine the clone builds to make a decent speeder with side car. Flipped the plates from the original build to make the speeder longer, used the "shields" as armor along the sidecar and the crate as a storage between the speeder and side car. Only uses the parts from set so no need to combine or source from other sets.
I'm pretty happy the clone build look... questionable! it puts a focus on the droids!

There are two canon tri droid sizes. The one that comes in this set is accurate to the smaller size.
Once I get another battle pack, I’m definitely gonna build your AT-RT design. It totally kicks ass.

The walker is nice. The speeder looks like it has an experimental and unstable laser canon on the front (not a complaint), and the big tri-droid looks like a mechanical mother spider (also not a complaint).
Those hollow, clear studs… I need more

Managed to find this set early and it was my first clone wars set so I'll definitely try these out
I would like another alt build video in the future where you use multiple sets to make better versions of both builds in the set, such as a nearly accurate BARC speeder and a better gun emplacement/maybe even a clone barricade for them to hide behind. Just thoughts, thought the builds you did were fine

I think the atrt looks good. You did fantastic on the legs. I can see why the top part took you a long time, and given the part selection I think you did well, but If I build it I’ll probably supplement the design with some outside parts to make the plating on the front a bit more of an obtuse angle. Great work overall!

I recently got the CG gunship, and I think that AT RT looks Coruscant Guardish, so I'm gonna load it up in the back of the gunship like they did in 2008 with the speeder. Love the builds btw ❤

Not all tri droids are the same height the average height was 10 feet but the separatists could make up scaled versions at their will

I’d be interested to put all the pieces from all these modern day clone battlepacks in one and see if you could produce a vehicle that would not only function without falling apart but also looking decent, not saying that these alternative builds don’t look good but the 501st gunship is more of a proof of concept than an actual display model.

Found these at Walmart a couple of weeks ago and got six of them. One of my favorite sets of all-time already.

I found 5 hidden on the top shelf at my Walmart a few days ago, someone messed up and put them on the shelf early and I couldn't buy them. Just went again today and they had 3 on the shelf that I could get!

There is actually a smaller version of the tri droid and the battle pack version is close to mini fig scale.

i found an online shop in my country that sells them for 23€ already, bought 2 in a different store a couple days ago and will order another 8 from that online shop
