Unpopular opinion: helmet holes are fine
I really done care about them either but I put those upgrades in these videos because I know a lot of people do care about them
i dont mind the helmet holes but i wish they could’ve included some helmet accessories like visors or macro binoculars

@@sailorartema9with the new phase 2 clone helmets, the ones made after the the at-te in 2022, they have small holes on the side of there helmet like on phase 1 and Mandolorian helmets, but with the new phase 2 helmets, they are above the place where they should be

The speeder from the new battle pack DOES fit in the Coruscant Guard gunship, you just have to either turn it sideways to fit it through the back door or you can just slide it in through one of the side doors.
True but it’s a hassle especially because I have huge hands 😭

You can give the shock trooper a cool shield design using the barricade and using the maroon parts of the speeder. You can also make a shock spear thingy using the purple piece in the droid.

It fits!
A VERY simple and chap way to upgrade the Shild/Turret build is to replace the 2 black clips in the BACK of the turret with a 1x2 plate. I did gray, but black also works, really anything to give it the ability to hold troopers.
How to upgrade the battlepack: buy custom minifigs and accessories. Done.
Tho i have to admit, that speeder looks really solid.
How else do you want me to upgrade it, because most things with only official part don’t look much better that what Lego could’ve done.
It's only in star wars community where upgrading set means using things that are not purely made by Lego.
And I have to admit that with included selection, only one available accessory would make sense, and brick built riot shield would look too big or too thick, so there really is not much you can improve.
Also, it's really hard to upgrade a set that's this solid. Only thing that needed solid improvement was speeder, and that you've tackled excellently^^
Maybe also it's just my aversion to customs tho, so don't take me too seriously^^

I really do like CAC but when you’re using the 2020 style more often especially with all the new 2020 style figures GCC is definitely the way to go since they’re cheaper
Got one of the sets, I made a grunt ARC trooper with them and a custom captain when I made my own pauldrons and kamas from scratch

I made a double barrel heavy laser canon out of the speeder and the turret.
Looks awesome and the studshooter makes for a good emp grenade launcher

personally clone army customs is my go to for commanders and anything specialized like that. But gcc does standard troopers so well
They do, but they're more expensive than CAC at this point.
I think both are great but GCC is better for matching Lego

Hey man, This is going to be my first LEGO set and Im also going to be the 501st turret one at the same day which is about 5 days from now, Any reccomendations to upgrade that speeder even if its a slight change
If I could change one thing just would remove one of the guns on the back of the speeder and then replace the bar the guns hold onto with a different one that allows the gun to be centered. Glad to here that you are getting into Lego!
Personally I think gcc is better for regular clones but clone army customs does do molds for other clones like airborne troopers

In my personal opinion, I actually like (most) Clone Army Customs clones more than official lego clones, the problem is that for the price of one CAC clone, you can get a battle pack with four lego clones and some droids.
The shock trooper custom helmet u showed literally looks the same as the Lego one but without holes

Because it’s my Lego set and I want to build it my way, which was legos original purpose anyway, and I should be able to use my creativity instead of having my set be exactly like all the others.

I don’t here that opinion much but I do agree for some things, but if you’re trying to upgrade an official set or match something to it, I’d go with GCC
I’m sorry but CAC looks like absolute crap in comparison, GCC actually look like real Lego while CAC look like Chinese knockoffs in comparison.
And their blasters, prints and cloth pieces are much less quality yet more expensive
@@omarbaba9892 yeah but who wants printer waistcapes and the everything is way better at CAC full printed arms and the cloths are great I just don’t care for the weapons best commandos on the market and gear wise
