#legostarwars #starwars #legostarwarsbattlepack - Krátké a kreslené filmy
My only gripe with a majority of these sets is the stud shooters. I would prefer if Lego just stuck with the their traditional blasters
Yes!
I think they look cool but ive never seen them in person. Im kind of neutral I guess
I liked the stud shooters when they first came out, but then they started putting them into every battle pack
thats fair but at the same time to me they always seemed like a call back to the classic blaster. I miss that old megaphone design.
@@ItsNep Those were before I even got any Legos as a kid but I always thought they looked cool. You could probably order a bunch of the black megaphone pieces with red transparent studs from Lego for your army. I might do it just for the Lolz.
I kinda like the specific battle packs that are thrown in, for average people buying 2-3 getting a couple officers or crew members brings alot of life into the army
They’re cool but they’re kinda useless for an army.
I’m sure people would prefer getting an extra trooper figure instead of officer.
@@NiqRipple well if you think about recent sets; take imperial storm troopers for example, we’re getting the same trooper in a bunch of sets and not at many officers, like the tie fighter and the mech and the pervious imperial transport, less including officers, having diversity in officers is nice expecislly if they give multiple heads for us to mix and match, i would rather a battle pack have all troopers for sure but i don’t think they’re necessarily a deal breaker
I just bought one cause they were cool I didn’t know people hated it that much the set is sick as a 17 year old and ten years ago if I had bought that same battle pack as a 7 year old who loved the clone wars show, I would love them being special clones
@NiqRipple not if you just get a few sets. When I was a kid I would only get a few sets a year. So having figures that were unique was kinda cool. Though I would understand for army building why you wouldn't want that.
@@NiqRipple if it was a one officer to three trooper ratio im sure thatd be fine. Yeah most people want another trooper but stickin an officer in there aint gonna do no harm and helps diversify things.
I think the 2022 Snowtrooper Battle Pack is underrated. It was perfect for army building. I liked the Utapau battle pack but for me it's not no.1. My biggest issue are the 2 airborne troopers. They don't come in big numbers. Would have loved if we got 3 normal 212th troopers and one airborne
I can agree at the time I am writing this the snowtrooper battle pack is about to be discontinued. I’ve already bought 4. But plan on buying at 1 or 2 more.
There are at least 36,000 of them because they are in the 7th sky corps
@@Mockingjay-es9xl 7th Sky Corps consists of the 212th and many other units.
The airborne troopers are from the 2nd Airborne company- there are only 144 of them.
@@callumpears1523 Good to know
7:15 Fact Check: the 501st Specialist Clones BP from 2023 was also based on Battlefront II, albeit only the character designs.
Yes, he said it that it's really coll they're based on the classes from BF2
The original Mandalorian battle pack was in my opinion, top 3 material. 4, troopers, none of which are specialized or anything, and outstanding builds. And they are perfect to build armies, the whole point of battle packs. You certainly couldn’t really do that with the new Mandalorian battle pack.
dude 100% agree. Mandalorians are the best part of star wars imo, better than every Jedi except master "hello there." I have 4 of the 2020 mandalorian battle pack, love the mandos, sure, but at the same time, they're all different, and part of the point of battle packs is army building, so it's kinda weird when you get a bunch of what should be completely individual mandalorians who are all living in one large pack in The Mandalorian show. It would be like seeing the same guy four times when you go for a walk. Don't get me wrong, the printing is better, I'm just sad I didn't capitalize when I was younger on the 2011 version. i was only 5 in 2011, which sounds crazy, but we actually got a deathwatch battle pack in 2013 or 2014, but then we traded them, as well as a phase 1 cody (I can get over that with my new phase 2 Cody) AND a phase 1 Rex, which I will never get over, makes me cry to this day. Man I'm so dumb. It took all throughout my freshmen, sophomore, and junior year of high school to collect 8 of those 2011 goodies, so in 2023, rolling into my senior year of high school, I only have 8. I'm thinking about bringing some of my mandos to my senior trip in Greece and Rome to do out-of-country photo shoots, ik it's cringey. Oh and also a Sicily beach storming scene with some world war two customs, I can't resist hehehe
@@timoconnell5804 sounds like a good vacation.
Newer mando pack ain’t shit compared to the old ine
@@battledroid7628 completely agreed
One of the biggest sequel haters I've seen in a while.
17:24 I never understood why a lot of people overlook the fact that the battle damage scuffing print is identical. It would look so strange to build an army of Stormtroopers with perfectly identical scuffing. I think that fact really holds this pack back.
If they both had different scuffing you would still only have 2 different scuffing patterns
@Azact Well, at least then you could swap helmets and torsos and have 4 variations, but ultimately, I think just not having scuffing in the first place would make this a perfect pack
My favorite part of Rebel Trooper Battlepacks is that you can mix and match the troopers to make everything completely unique.
I always liked the Original Mandalorian Battle Pack because of the modifications you could make to some of the weaponry. The heavy blaster could easily be modified to be a dual-handed heavy blaster.
I'm so glad people are snobbing the sequels sets , cause I couldn't get them when I was younger and now I'll be able to without some ridiculous markup
My regret is that I wasn't able to get many of these battle packs when they came out due to school and having quit LEGO during those years.
On another note, I would like to point out three things about some of the lower battle packs:
The Sith Troopers Battle Pack's bigger flaw is that the Jet troopers' helmets pop off very easily.
The Jedi and Clone Troopers one should've had two nameless jedi like "Jedi Bob" for Jedi army building and customization.
The Inferno Squad could've had an extra helmet for Iden Versio so that you could hide the only visible named character for a larger 'battalion' of elite commandos.
I feel like too many people are hating on the recent clone battle packs. The 332nd troopers and the 501st specialist clones BPs are great fir army building, have good builds, and cool figure selection to build armies with or just get 1 or two of for the cool and and currently rare and exclusive figures.
Especially the 332. You could easily army build, you just need to take off the jetpack
I hate on it because of the price increase $20 for a battle pack is outrageous
@@HotPocketEnjoyerunderstandable, but just wait, right now my Walmart had they on roll back for 15-16
I just think 332nd looks stupid. Also they were only featured in a very few episodes of the clone wars.
@@HotPocketEnjoyerWant to buy them now, or a few years later when the prices increase by 50 dollars?
This list made me realize how many battle packs I have gotten over the years, and lost half the figures
I still have my 212th figures, as well as the red ARC trooper and clone ordinance troopers all completely intact. I’m genuinely surprised I kept up with them as a kid and haven’t lost them, considering how much I played with them. Also still have my original Captain Rex that came with the AT-TE. My uncle got me that set for my 9th birthday.
The Bounty Hunter battle pack would have been great as a $20-$30 set with Boba and Zuckuss.
For everyone who dont get it. This is his own choice. If you disagree dont be a a**hole and blame him or something
I love how some of the vehicles in Battlepacks are based on actual vehicles. The Tatooine Battlepack is my favorite of these, being quite obviously a SUPER scaled down Sandcrawler.
the latest 2022 snowtrooper battlepack is awesome, but the $5 price hike to $20, the highest price hike in battlepack history when adjusted for inflation, was kinda disappointing.
2014 was such a great year for battle packs. 212th and 41st packs in the same year, not to mention the battle of saleucami set, which for $15 got u 2 B1s, 2 B2s, a BARC trooper, barc speeder, small terrain build and STAP. Functionally like a small, mixed, droid battle pack.
I actually can’t believe I got a lot of these, and some of these battle packs are now really expensive, especially the #1 battle pack I got!
Battlepacks aren't necessarily for army building anymore. You probably should have figured that out by now.
Its a bit annoying how heavily biased this is against first order battle packs. Whilst none of them are the best and they all came out in that window of time when battle packs weren't so great due to officer figures and whatnot, I feel that they were treated unfairly here just because of unnecessary sequel hate. A couple of these packs are genuinely better than ones higher on the list, such as the jedi and clone troopers battle pack, which seems to be shoved in higher than them just because of the "cLoNe TrOoPeR bEsT" mentality shared among far to many fans and were not correctly assessed based on their quality or army potential, and instead just thrown in the gutter because of clone trooper bias. I am by no means a first order fanboy and those sets should still be pretty low on the list, but some of them are still a lot better than their unfair rating here.
Fr
The new movies suck simple as that
17:29 why they did that is because in 2015s star wars battlefront, if you died many times in match, your character would start to look scuffed. Just a cool detail i wanted to point out for the game and this set 👌🏻😁
Super fun and thankfully brief overview of the whole lot. Videos like this really make me regret my dark ages 😆
this is one of my favourite Star Wars videos ive seen because its very informative, it shows all the sets and their minifigures 😎
didn't he forget the new 501st one, with the walker and speeder?
Love it, great video!👍
* The Praetorian Guard battle pack is an alright idea, makes for a way to add on to the showdown.
* I don't mind the Bounty Hunter Bike. The occasional character pack among the normal battle packs isn't a bad idea, and it's nice to have a cheap option for characters like that (same for the Jedi and Clone Troopers pack). Beefing it up to $20+ would have completely missed the point of making it in the first place, same for the Death Star Troopers (where the idea is to inexpensively bulk up both the gunners and the Emperor's guards).
* I don't think I've seen the dual-molded helmets in person yet. Are they worse than the original Phase II clone helmets?
* Until they appear in something canon I'd put the Shadow Troopers pack well below anything from the Sequel Trilogy. Ye gods am I glad that The Force Unleashed is no longer canon. Galen Marek was such a God Mode Gary Stu. People who moan about Rey could use some perspective.
* 75001 is also trash in my book. I've never been a fan of the Old Republic MMO, and that pack hogged a spot that could have gone to getting some Rebel troops instead. I'd put it at the absolute bottom.
* I'm pretty sure most people aren't remotely bothered by the helmet holes. They're tiny and easy to overlook when not occupied, and avoid the need to have different helmet molds just for the sake of having add-ons.
* I disagree with you saying the ARF Trooper didn't belong in a battle pack. I think he totally did - a battle pack of multiple ARF Troopers woulda been better though :P Just like we need a mixed-legion Phase II AT-RT Driver pack.
* 75078 was beautiful - a full set of plain Stormtroopers.
* That new Snowtrooper pack is good, although I like the motortrike-based speeder bike from the 2010 version better.
* I'd have put the Droids Battle Pack below 7655 due to it being Super-biased.
* IMO Kashyykk Troopers > Utapau Troopers, for two reasons. One is that in the case of Kashyykk Troopers, the 50/50 split is a lot more appropriate than it is for Utapau Troopers since so many of the 41st were in Scout-type armor in that battle (I think they actually outnumbered those in standard armor). The other is that Utapau Troopers' build should have been a Crab Droid instead of a Tri-Droid: the Tri-Droid is a background footnote on Utapau, whereas the Crab Droid is highlighted in a memorable shot of a 212th trooper jumping onto one and drilling it to death with full auto.
** What is it they have over the 2022 versions in your book? The orange sleeves?
i got the kashyyyk and utapau sets when i was a kid, so glad i did because there is no way id ever spend upwards of £100 on a set that cost £10-15
I really like your thumbnails!
Great video 🎉
I was born in 2002 so I was the right age for all the classic battle packs. My family never really had a steady income so I was often relegated to battle packs, even though sometimes I would get an actual set, but I always loved and appreciated it.😁 I hold so much nostalgia when going to a store and seeing them on shelves. For me the first LEGO sets I really remember first getting were 7654, 7655 and 7668. Always loved messing around with. Was super pumped when this vid popped up on my recommended😁👍
I really wanna see u rank every CW set when the Venator and gunship come out!
technically the iden versio isn't the only battlefront 2 battlepack because the new 501st battlepack
I meant to say based on the campaign
Me personally, I think the old republic battle pack is superly underrated! No one ever talks about it! (Some don't even know about it!) it's comes with I think Atleast 2 exclusive minifigures with a really good custom machine gun! Although yes it's kinda impractical to army build with, the minifigures are kinda cool in my personal opinion!
Number 12 was my first lego star wars set I believe. Amazing little set
Great video
8:25 this was my first Lego Star Wars set! Set off a pretty bad addiction unfortunately lol
I would've put the Barriss and Ki-Adi battlepack at or closer to the very bottom, since they are the worst for army building. Their jedi robes aren't even generic enough to be used on normal jedi. Only two clones aren't enough to really army build either.
Unfortunately, the Bounty Hunter and Tatooine sets would be near the bottom as battlepacks, though they are solid sets
I disagree with a few battle packs, but overall I agree.
Btw, very good video 👍
7:27 The memories, is so alirn seing my first lego set getting a remake.
Wasn't the Utapau troopers battle pack first to introduced stud shooters?
nice vid
That’s crazy, I bought a ton of the droid battle pack, assassin droid, og madolorians and the rebel fleet trooper packs growing up lol
Technically the Inferno Squad battle pack was not the only set from Battlefront II: the 501st Specialist battle pack was definitely designed from Battlefront II
13:50 I managed to get that set for about $35 on Kijiji, only issue was the arf trooper has a scout trooper torso
set 8083 was my very first lego star wars set brings back good memories from a time where nothing else mattered but the toys.
god i remember back in school kids would trade minifigs from different battlepacks that they got and didnt get, me included. good days
i have the original mando, stormtrooper, and clone trooper packs, however they are very much used as those were my favorite sets to play with
I got 2 of the original 501st battle packs and 2 of the new one and it suits me pretty well because I also have Obi Wan, Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, Ashoka, Palpatine, and a very good custom Darth revan
Dude imperial patrol battle pack is the GOAT, patrol troopers are the best lego star wars figures maybe ever.
Hey about the geonosis trooper battle pack? Those are in star wars. They are from one of the biggest battles of the clone wars the second battle of geonosis which is a pretty big arc of the clone wars show where we see them quite a bit.
I believe the issue is they were still phase one during the second battle of geononsis
@@anangryhessianhe’s talking about the flame troopers and the arf troopers. They had custom armor that was reddish brown camouflage. Nothing like what comes in the set
It'd be cool if they made a shore trooper one, love their armor wish there was more of them
I have only the 332nd clones and the 501st Battle Packs. Personally I really like them mainly because I’m a Clone Wars/501st Legion stan so yeah and it was a nice 45 minutes to build each of them
bro now i know where most of my figs are from thanks
Hell yeah dude I got that utapau battle pack and the kashyyyk one
I hated the stud shooters that came with the battlepacks and really liked the actual blasters. Granted when they introduced stud shooters I kinda outgrew lego and was moving on and wasn't buying sets but I remember as a kid I didn't need stud shooters just your imagination.
I Actually have the number 1 battle pack. No clue where it went but it is probably disassembled, although I could meticulously reassemble it with pieces from my Lego bins to display.
i still remember getting the Droideks V clones one, still have 41st battalion trooper all in one peice.
I think knocking points for including officers/crew members is kinda dumb not gonna lie man. I understand that you’d want the majority of the figures to be just standard issue infantry or whatever, but having a whole army without officers/crew is just… bland. Still, great video man! I’ve been enjoying your content way more than most Lego/Lego Star Wars channels recently. Personally my favorite battlepack is 7655, the clone speeder one from way back. I love the designs and because I’m kind of a Lego Star Wars boomer, those Phase II troopers are my favorite design by far.
Also, 7667 and 7668 (imperial drop ship and the rebel speeder from ‘08) were my second and third Lego sets ever :) I got em both at the same time from Wallyworld lol. First ever Lego set was the Hailfire Droid from around the same time. Memories…
Set 75000 was my first ever Lego Star Wars set. I got it brand new. Seeing how long it has been since it was released I feel old now!😂
I got a tatooine battle pack and luke's landspeeder for my 2019 sandcrawler. I don't really regret it and it looks great
Man, the 2010's had some crazy unique battle boxes. Wish I didn't miss them all.
my first lego sets were the stormtrooper battle pack and the rebel one to match, i was 5. that was the one that started it all
The battle pack with the ark trooper and the red arf trooper and the droid commandos, I had the helmet of the ark trooper somehow and my friend printed decals for the rest of the body
It kinda feels like you put the 2 newer clone battle packs super low just to spite people who like them. Like dude, you're literally getting 4 clone minifigs of the same battalion with some of the greatest battle pack builds ever. Just because the helmet holes look kinda bad? They literally make your whole battlepack super customizable cuz you can mix and match with the other battle pack and have the 332nd with the macro binoculars and blue visors.
Dawg just because they’re low doesn’t mean they’re bad. All the battle packs after like 30th place are good sets. Just because there’s a large amount of other battle pack better than them doesn’t make them bad.
@@fivelonelyclones dude the ones above them tho aren't that great. Like the one with 2 bomb squad troopers isn't that good like who's gonna build an army of bomb squad troopers. Also the one you picked for number 1 has like a terrible build.
Its his own opinion. So if you disagree thats ok. But dont say anything about other people just because you are not the same opinion with
I would hardly say the snow trooper pack builds are worse than the mini AV-7, maybe the E-web, but the speeder bike is perhaps the best 74-z we have ever gotten
@@EtherealGlint41 I said a few of them are. I agree that the snowtrooper battle pack is pretty good. But like there are some that are just not it.
My favorites are probably the 2023 501st Battle Pack, the 2022 Snowtroopers one, the 2011 Clones one, the 2012 Arc Trooper one, and the 2016 and 2017 Imperial ones.
I bought #20 and #19 at the same time back when they came out in 2012 and I still have them!
I bought 11 of that 33ed clone battle pack when it came out I don’t regret it
It's morbin' time

Quick question even though the rumored clones vs droids set isn’t a “battlepack”, where would you rank it in the list assuming the clones have no helmet holes
probably number 1 but that would be unfair
@@fivelonelyclones Well, it's out! Wonder what you feel about it
I had the rebel trooper snd snow trooper battle packs as a kid
#4 spot has a special place in my heart
7:16 **both the 501st battle packs including special clones from battlefront 2**
When i was a kid i had the mandalorian battle pack, the first hoth snowtrooper battle pack and the bomb squad clone trooper battle pack
these kind of feel like lego trying to get in on the tabletop wargame crowd a little bit
Seeing the assassin droid, hoth rebel and og mandalorian packs made me feel things
4:57 - if I want to re-create that mass speeders jousting scene in the 2003 Clone Wars, this would be the battle pack I would buy.
I've been kicking myself so hard after getting back into star wars the past year. I was BIG into SW pre-2013, but after that I lost interest and even got rid of a lot of the figures I accumulated. Now I want some storm troopers and death troopers, and all those battle packs are triple the price
In the clone wars show, there is a battle on geonosis where they fight a droid factory
I agree with you on the fact that rebel battlepacks are underrated. Some of them are awesome!
My man do be hatting that first order
Suggestion I think you should visualize the rankings on screen to make it easier to remember where we are. But good vid :)
Just look at the chapters
@@fivelonelyclones that’s fair
I bought and still have 20 sets of those utapau trooper packs haha good times
i bought most of my Stormtrooper collection of Ebay, so its weird seeing where all my minifigures come from. For instance, those First Order guys in the black armour i got as a FREE GIFT from one nice Ebay guy, so its weird seeing them in their proper set.
75132 was excellent for the time - only way to mass build stormtroopers.
I had the utapau one. Sold my lego like 5 years ago not knowing they was this wanted
Sith trooper set is awesome the only issue is it comes with 2 jet and one regular trooper but if you buy multiple it doesn't even matter.
The black storm trooper in the dropship packs is a pilot btw, not a shadow trooper
Interesting to see all of the battle packs throughout the years. I don't really agree with your rankings though. I understand you like battle packs that you can army build with, but personally I enjoy collecting a wide variety of minifigures for a battle scene. Not too many of similar looking soldiers.
I agree with that too I like being able to get unique troopers that wouldn’t really fit well in a bigger set. Although I don’t like getting named characters that could easily fit in a bigger set. Just a bit of a waste imo
Why are a lot of the ones i own at the bottom?
What about the First Order Transport Speeder Battle Pack, 75166, and Sith Troopers Battle Pack, 75266?
I'm surprised the random inclusion of a Stormtrooper in the Praetorian Guard Battlepack wasn't mentioned. Give me the spare parts all day with a bad build, but if I'm buying a super specialized battlepack, give me the specialization please...
I remember I had the one on last place without mowing what Star Wars was
This is a great list I would have swapped a few just based off biased opinions
I didn't see 75280, does that not count? Or did i miss where it was
My first lsw set was clone and jedi bp
I have the shadow trooper battlepack but i miss a trooper torso and both the heads of the royal guards 😢
I've got alot of the old battle packs from 2013 2014 and 2015. I Got quite a lot of the imperial ones and i am rebuilding them to create and army
12:49 I’m pretty sure that battle pack is based on og battlefront 1 , pilot was a Engineer
Dude my brothers got the elite clone trooper battlepack back when i was too young to be into legos but all thats left is one arc trooper helmet 😭😭 no complete clonesor accessories. Im so sad they were so cool
8:25 got this one in mint for 35$ like a month ago
