Thankyou Chris yet another detailed review in both form and function of some stunning cases. If I can make a suggestion when building in all variants of the 011D Evo > to remove the HDD cage above the PSU default position and use the Corsair Shift PSUs which mounts the cables from the side of the unit, which leaves the mounted cables at the top of PSU when mounted in the Evo's making cabling easier with far less congestion in the bottom of the cabling area.

I find your presentations the most "polished" out of all the Computers Sites I subscribe to, and the details given are extremely detailed but easy to follow at the same time, ie you don't need a Degree to understand them. Superb!
I actually bought the Lian Li Dynamic 011 Evo XL - I wanted the 901 Pro but it was just outside my budget at the time. But at least I still have the Be Quiet 802W, which in itself is a great case and so easy to build in!

I preordered a Lian Li EVO RGB where i want to install an E-ATX motherboard (AsRock 650E Taichi lite). Will i have a problem installing the vertical side Lian Li UniFans or everything fits well? What interests me is the looks..Is there a possibility that the E-ATX will hide RGB lights of the fans?

Thanks for all your videos. They have helped out tremendously. One notable mention, in my opinion, would be the NZXT H6 flow. The cooling in this case is really good. Using the lian li sl uni inf fans and galahad lcd 320 aio looks great and just flows really well. I did a white and black mixture. Case is white, Motherboard is black, Aio is white as well as the rear/side fans and bottom fans are white. I did have to modify the case, so the 140 bottom fans would fit since this seems to be a problem, but I love how the fans in this case are so air-tight in their spots. Overall, it looks awesome. Thanks again for everything, sir.

Hopefully they can release a new version of the QUBE with better airflow. Not a fan of the aquarium style case trend, but really like the design of the QUBE.

No Pop Air! I built my new PC using that case after your excellent review and build using it. I am really happy with it. Build quality is very good, it looks great and reasonably priced.

The phanteks nv5 is just something special just recently purchased a white one upgrading from the p400a. I was in two minds between the nv7 and nv5 but having watched a few videos yours included I realized the nv7 was too big for what I needed.
Got myself the black NV5 and my good it's glorious, but damn they make it hard to route that 24 pin cable through to the motherboard! it's a none issue though.
I liked the Lian Li 216 RGB for a budget pick. Phanteks NV5 can easily reach non-budget levels of once you add in costs of fans.

Gosh. If the n7 were reversible like the evo, I'd go for it. I really love the tilted base and the space above the board.
It's a great case, which is why I had so much trouble picking the winner for that category
Fsp cmt 380, just did a build in it. Best budget case.
I really liked the O11 Evo RGB, but my EVO will be good for years I would say.
As I said in my review, I wouldn't upgrade if you already have it

Christopher I'm a big fan and a fellow Northern Irish man, is there a reason that you didnt include any NZXT cases? The H9 elite is one that comes to mind and IMO looks better that the O11 vision!
The Hyte Y40 is the prettiest case to me.

Hey man so i followed your guide on the Lian Li 216 case. For some reason my case fans dont show up in bios. switching to pwn or dc mode doesnt do anything. Lian Li software doesnt even show me my fans only just system specs and stuff. icue reads the case fans are at full speed. Any Advice?
Can you do a video on the phanteks nv9? I know its pretty much the same as the nv7 but I'm curios what your thoughts on it would be.

Best full tower for builds that require heavy aircooling? All these big cases are all for water these days. Using a Torrent to cool the 3090. But with a internal soundcard it blocks the bottom fans to blow into the GPUfans. Would the big HAF 700 cases be the best option?

I have to admit I'm not surprised with some of your choices considering how popular fish tank or dual chamber cases are nowdays but perhaps you should've included these as a seperate category. I expected more of traditional mid tower cases which I am a bigger fan of because they are more all around general use cases than dual chambers which even though they may have more features, fan mounting options or better cooling solutions they still fall into particular niche and are more oriented towards modding and showcasing rather than practical use for majority people but perhaps I'm getting old and times are changing. :)
I think the Lian Lia 216 RGB deserved an honorable mention and you build/review of it was fantastic..

In my opinion winner of best case and value go's to Montech King 95 pro, 6 included PWM ARGB fans and a fan/rgb controller that supports up to 10 fans, all for a very decent price!
Other favorite cases this year for me, would be NZXT H6 flow, APNX C1 and Lancool 216.
Montech King 95 pro was meant to come out, but never arrived. Might cover it next year.

I really wish they came out with an atx case that looked exactly like the ssupd meshlicious meshroom. Super minimal and wondering why ssupd havent came out with a larger version of it

My top pick hasn’t changed for 4 years. Corsair 5000d. a vertical gpu custom loop. With tubes running behind the gpu letting the imagination work. Not a fan of glass surrounding everything. Screams fingerprints and is just too open for my liking. I actually don’t want to see everything. Rather have it layered, Like a busy compact powerful engine.
I really hope you gonna build a PC inside ASUS Prime AP201 case with high-end components like: Ryzen 9 7950x3D with 7900 xt or xtx 😊😊

I want a 011 nvme build .... one that has no drive bays at all , NONe....not even a space for a little ssd......want the bracket on the back for PSU so you can just slide it in from the back but other then that no extras, no fans, no fan controller .... just a 011 cube . And want screws , tooless is trouble down the road so I want to have a screw for all panels . With no extras bar the back bracket for PSU it should be very reasonable price. And I want just the one standard layout ......
I assume since the NV7 is on there the NV9 wouldnt be a bad buy?

I'm going to chat with my friends at Microcenter to see if they can give me a good deal on the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO RGB. I *just* brought the last EVO not too long ago and I generally don't like to buying multiple cases so close to one another.

@@ChristopherFlannigan the problem I have with my current EVO is in its reverse configuration. My GPU (3090) in vertical position is uncomfortably too close to the motherboard connectors and my motherboard does seem to be slightly bigger, so there's some mild wire bending. The RGB iteration seems to fix that, but I'd have to see more builds in that orientation to fully understand it.

Buying the ROG Hyperion EVA-02 edition is the best way I've wasted money -ever- in computers.

Solid case. I used mine for my sons PC. Very happy with it
The O11 Vision is pretty but a bad choice for any build.
Air cooler - The case only has a 167mm CPU cooler clearance. This leaves 2-8mm clearance for most modern air coolers. That is WAY too close for my comfort, given any contact would = glass pane vs metal rivet. Account for case/glass vibration due to loud music, passing motorcycles, accidental bumps, minor earthquakes, thunder, cats, dogs and children. Nope.
AIO - The case would still need every available intake/exhaust fan for GPU cooling. Even a side mounted radiator in push/pull config dramatically reduces air intake. Both rear exhaust fans are essential; any airflow impedance here will greatly decrease airflow. A bottom mounted radiator is not only a bad idea due to air accumulation in the AIO pump, but also dramatically reduces air intake to the GPU.
Custom water cooling - This case is just too small for that. I mean, maybe? but why..
Vertically mounted GPU - This is possible but problematic, resulting in the sacrificing of one rear fan or all the bottom fans. They just made the case too small.
Conclusion - You might be able to pull off an AMD build with low CPU/GPU TDPs using a side mounted AIO push/pull configuration and high quality, good static pressure fans. But.. for a mid tier build using a mid tier GPU that you can't practically mount vertically, why would you buy a case that's primary function is to display your pretty, pretty parts?
