The Texas State Bobcats might probably face the Houston Cougars from the American Athletic Conference, the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference, and the UTSA Roadrunners from Conference USA, whose stadiums are the TDECU Stadium in Houston, the Amon G. Carter Stadium in Forth Worth, and the Alamodome in San Antonio. The TDECU Stadium in Houston might add 1,500 seats in the North Endzone plus 2 11,500 stands in the Northern Endzone and the Southern Endzone, thus the accumulated seating capacity would be 64,500
The Texas State Bobcats are the only Texas-based Athletic program of the Sun Belt Conference until the dissolution of the Big 12 Conference caused by the mass exodus of all 10 Conference members led by the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners might pave the way for the additions of the Houston Cougars, the TCU Horned Frogs, and the UTSA Roadrunners, along with the UCF Golden Knights, the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles, and the Liberty Flames, as the Sun Belt Conference becomes one of the magnificent 7 NCAA FBS Superconferences, and the Mid-American Conference adds the UConn Huskies from the Big East Conference and the 3 FCS-to-FBS Transitional Schools are ready to face the MAC Powerhouse, the Northern Illinois Huskies
@@jonathan_tong93 UTSA and Texas St both joined the FBS ranks in 2012 in the old WAC. Conference realignment happened UTSA went to CUSA and Texas State went to the Sunbelt. The north endzone cannot expand unless they want to block the designed view of Downtown Houston. The WAC is reforming as an FCS conference from what I hear.
@@jonathan_tong93 If anything, the AAC stays around and it cherry picks teams from the Sunbelt and CUSA. UTSA is attractive only due to SA TV market, but it doesn't mean much because as you know, everyone's already an Aggie or Longhorn fan in the city when it comes to games on TV. Leftovers of CUSA and Sunbelt might merge or readjust members. I'm not a fan of 4 of the CUSA teams being in Texas.
Troy Student here yea you can hop the fence but there is a easier spot on the other side cause on the side you showed there's vendors and the student section and band section and behind you is a national guard armory.
You should definitely do a video about the history and expansion of college stadiums over time. Some stadiums are brand new but there are 90+ year old stadiums
I guess the MAC and the CUSA FBS stadiums will be eventually next, not to forget the non affiliated, independent FBS teams also.
Texas State was the name of the university in the movie Necessary Roughness. Except the team was called the Fighting Armadillos.
Louisiana’s stadium looks like it could easily be expanded into an 80K+ stadium. Pretty nice
I love how in this, and all the videos I've seen, he's never negative. "Not out of the ordinary" is as savage as it gets. I particularly enjoy when he mentions some aspect of the stadium that the internet would usually criticize mercilessly, but he adds "but I like it!"
Also...."matchday" :-D If you called a football game day "matchday" in SEC country, you'd probably get punched in the face! ...but I like it!
When he said to watch people jumping the fences I was thinking football down south not sure if anyone is quite sober enough to jump them after tailgating 😂
Could you do the Southland or WAC Conference... Sam Houston State DID win the National Championship earlier this year (2021)
A Chanticleer is actually the name of a Rooster from one of Chaucer’s Canterbury tales.
And what do the Canterbury Tales have to do with Conway, SC? Nothing about Coastal Community College makes much sense to me.
@@Ericsaidful It doesn’t have to can you Name more than one place that the university mascot has anything to do with the town or city besides The obvious ones like Texas, Oklahoma or LSU.
Like what does a mountain lion or a panther have to with Pennsylvania.
There for this is arbitrary and pointless to argue because it is the norm.
@@Ericsaidful It's because CCU was a two-year feeder school into South Carolina in the 1960s and has always had close relations to USC. Since they were the Fighting Gamecocks, CCU wanted to play into that while still being original and standing out. So they went with Chanticleers.
A Chanticleer is from a book/books and is a rooster that rules the barnyard basically.

Great stuff! Centre Parc Stadium is a beautiful place to watch a game, also the biggest Jumbotron in the conference
The Center Parc Stadium shall see the Georgia State Panthers face the likes of the UCF Golden Knights and the Houston Cougars from the American Athletic Conference, the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference, the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles and the UTSA Roadrunners from Conference USA, and the FBS Independent Liberty Flames, when the Sun Belt Conference becomes a major FBS Superconference should the dissolution of the Big 12 Conference due to the mass exodus of all 10 members led by the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners, who are joining the Southeastern Conference, come into fruition, and could also result into the gradual departures of the 2 non-football schools that would eventually join another NCAA Division I non-football conference; the Summit League
Is it bigger than the new ones in Troy or South Alabama?
@@NKBlazer I’d have to check the size of their new Jumbotrons to say for sure, but it’s a safe bet GSUs is still the biggest. It was inherited from the Braves when they left Turner Field, and it’s one of the biggest college boards I’ve ever seen. That includes P5 stadiums
Coastal is removing the road that is close to the end zone. Eventually this end zone will be bowled as well
It will look so much better
Really?
The Coastal Carolina University must have a master plan as the possible expansion of the Brooks Stadium could probably lead into the road reconstruction and the north endzone expansion to the Brooks Stadium with an accumulated seating capacity of 26,000, so the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers shall face the likes of the FBS Independent Liberty Flames, the UCF Golden Knights and the Houston Cougars from the American Athletic Conference, the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference, and the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles and the UTSA Roadrunners, from Conference USA, as the dissolution of the Big 12 Conference due to the mass exodus of all 10 members becomes a factor for the Sun Belt Conference becoming the blossoming major FBS Superconference
I am so old that when I went to college Louisiana University was called Southwest Louisiana University, Louisiana Monroe was called Northeast Louisiana University and their mascot was the Indians, Troy University was called Troy State and I could be wrong here but South Alabama didn't have a football team. I've been on the outside of the Louisiana Monroe stadium and it was really high looking the top of the stands.
edit: locals and alum please correct if I'm wrong on any of these I'm going from my hazy memory :)
So, Mr. WWOS... what are you asking Chanticleer for this year??
I’ve never been this early to a video on my recommended
I think the coloured seats in the stadiums are the student section.
Watching so many of these, I prefer a lot of these small school stadiums to the power conferences. So many big schools just expand, expand and expand more and it often isn't pleasing to the eyes.
These stadiums you can sit upper bowl and not be a mile away. It’s an amazing vantage point view wise and still extremely close to the field. Can’t beat it.
Can you please tell me what song you use in your videos please 🙏
Here's hoping UT Arlington get's back to football at some point in the near future. It would require a renovation of the stadium, but enrollment numbers are high enough to where there should be good support for a team.
For real, they also have the pull and talent level to where they could compete with other metro schools such as UNT and TCU.
UTA would more than likely play in Jerryworld, the old Ballpark, or a new on campus stadium... they have room.
And with all due respect, their competition would be UNT. They have a LONG way to go before competing with TCU or even SMU.
If they were to restart their football team, they wouldn't immediately start in the Sun Belt. That would be like throwing them into the lions den.
Do the Mid American Conference (MAC) stadiums!
It called Howard's Knob because a loyalist settler in the area hid on the mountain during the revolutionary war. So they named the mountain after his knob.
I’ve been to Cajun field a few times before
You really need to do Big Ten!
They get the different colors on the field by using paint or artificial turf. For coastal Carolina they use artificial turf
Please next Turkish Super League (Süper Lig) 2021/22 stadiums
I've been in Troy's stadium. Back when it was smaller. lol
Back when it was called Movie Gallery stadium?
@@c-dogg9188 Ha ha. Actually before that. Back when they were 1-AA/FCS. lol

Remake this vid again soon, App made some big upgrades!
The bowl game at Coastal should move to the Georgia Southern stadium. While Statesboro is a little bit of a drive from Savannah, the Savannah area is a much nicer place to visit than the Myrtle Beach area.
Suggestion: the three leagues in the Canadian Hockey League (Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League). The CHL is the top amateur level below the NHL, equivalent to the FBS in yank college "football".
Can you do Mountain West College Football stadium?
Just for your info, it's Game Day in the US.
I love Hancock, now that fans are able to go at 100% cap, it’s so much fun
Do the Mac Conference please (mid American conference)
Coastal are the chanticleers pronounced shanticleers. Shhhh like quiet. And it’s a fighting rooster, Coastal used to be part of University of South Carolina hence the fighting rooster.
