I remember it mentioned that a priest guy (who I think was the last christian or something) thought it odd that the man (who unbeknowst to him was the Emperor) made a chair creak when he sat in it.
The short story is kinda interesting as well. The Emperor basically goes Richard Dawkins on the priest, in an attempt to decovert him before his church is to be destroyed by his crew, who unbeknowst to the priest are waiting outside. The Emperor fails to persuade him, but the priest deconverts once he sees the Emperor's true form, because he realizes that the figure he had seen before in what he though was a vision from god was actually the Emperor. Being old and just having gotten his home, faith, purpose and decades of identity take from him, he commits suicide by walking back into the church as it's being destroyed.
The story of someone Richard Dawkins-ed to death. Poor guy. Great story though.

Just a note: the Warhammer characters have classicla Latin pronunciations.
Legio is pronounced "Leg - ee - oh."
Custode is pronounced "Cuhs-toh-days."

I disagree. If is real classical pronunciation it should be: leghio (lèghio) and cu-sto-des (custòdes) with accent on ò.

I love how the Emperor looks at his at his 8ft space marines with superhuman speed, strength and power and thinks
"You know? I need them bigger."
So he creates 9ft grey knight phsycers with more muscle, faster, and stronger and thinks
"Nah, not good enough."
So creates, 10ft soldiers bigger, better, harder, faster with better training, weapons and all that good stuff and only then does he think

Who is physically superior in a contest of physical strength, an Adeptus Custodes or a Thunder Warrior?
Easily an Adeptus Custodes. Thunder warriors in a sense were the the prototype Astartes warrior and the Custodes were a step up above them in the totem pole.
Julien Giacomo I heard that Thunder Warriors were physically larger and stronger than the regular Adeptus Astartes, but an Adeptus Astartes could beat one in hand to hand combat. I also know from this video that the Adeptus Custodes are also larger and physically stronger than the Adeptus Astartes so I'm wondering how tall and strong are they both?
pnp072000 thunder warriors were stronger and more aggressive than spacemarines. Spacemarines are more tamed etc easier to control
Raw power I would say a thunder warrior. Thunder warriors are like power lifters where spacemarines are football players or rugby

My understanding from reading the 1st heretic & etc, is that the custodes spears were a combo spear & a semi automatic projectile based weapon too, but I've never heard them being laser weapons alone & just notice the mag clip on the bottom of the weapons frame, unless of course some were indeed laser weapons & some projectile based if in fact that's a likely hood to there arsenal collection.
I always thought sense reading the warhammer novels that a combo of ancient greco roman warrior gear combined with future mechanized & electronic tech was hella fascinating. 👽👍

Just as a point of info: Legio is pronounced as "Lee-gee-o". As you know, it is derived from the name of ancient roman legions or the roman term for "Legion".
They aren't spears and they aren't laser weapons. They are Pike's with masterwork bolters built into them.
Now I get it. So if the Empire is Greendale, that means the dean is the emperor and Warlord Chang -- I mean Kevin -- is Horus, which makes GW's lore worse than crazy.

QUESTION: Dont you guys think that the current lore is going heywire, and they are nearing the WH40k to a close like thay did with Fantasy?
Cos Honestly this all started as a Model business, they are clearly going back to that, and the argument they posed also stands for 40k, not only fantasy:
It lets them unleash creative freedom without heeding to the "bindings" of the storytelling.
And how would you guys react as model fans (As a fantasy fan i would be sad).
Also about the twilight zone type of series, i would LOVE to see an Inquisition show like that! New inquisitors and a different story every time, at the same time it would get more fans by showing people the amazing depth and darkness of the grim 40k universe. With Supernatural, Flash and American Horror story being hits in recent years, and the rise of 40k, im AMAZED they did not do it yet.
