as far as i am concerned if there ever was a chapter that DESERVES a chapter codex of their own its the raven guard.....
I've been saying this since edition 2 when they got a small amendment in an episode of White dwarf.

Raven guard were the night lords before Corax, and the Night lords were the raven guard before Curze.
Of all black armored space marines these are the most adequate and have interesting war doctrine.
My favorite Space marine Legion/Chapter, can wait to see what happened to Corvus Corax.

@@Deutschritter. Oh, mein Kommentar war ein Witz, da er die Schule ( ein oft als negativen Ort aufgefassten Ort) mit Stellen aus dem Gedicht verbindet.
So folgt auf die rethorische Aussage "mach deine Hausaufgaben" der Ausruf "Nimmermehr" aus dem Gedicht,
was auf humoristische art und weise die traurige und depressive Stimmung des Gedichts mit dem Schulalltag verbindet.

Love these videos! Keep up the great work.
Always loved the Raven Guard... they were the first army I had before all my models were claimed by Hurricane Katrina, but I still eat up any fluff I can find that include them (albeit it is rather slim compared to some), and everything looks good in Black. Their tactics also echo my own in various tabletop or RTS games, making it a good match.

was exactly my thought. are they more like robots that just follow orders or they preserved their minds?
if a Hero of the Space Marines is mortally wounded but not dead, he can be put into a sarcophagus that keeps whatever may be left of him alive, atleast his brain. the sarcophagus is then put into a dreadnaught where it connects the Hero to the dreadnaught and allows the Marine to Fight on in his new form.
as far as I know there is no Limit as to how long a dreadnaught "pilot" can live so they are technichally immortal. however, not Every dreadnaught "pilot" Appreciates the honor of beeing stuck inside a metal Box for centuries, so alot of them are in an artificial coma until their chapter needs them. there is alot more to this topic but I am on the phone so typing ist hard
