It's amazing how there hasn't been a warhammer 40k television series
Granted there has been an Ultramarine movie and it...isnt the best thing.Though there needs to be one directed by someone who knows his shit and with a nice budget.

for whatever reason right now whenever a 40k game or movie comes out it seems rushed and not well thought out. Just feels like a cash grab everytime. They know people like warhammer so just make something crappy and slap the title on it so they can get money.
if one were made it would either need to be on one of the premium cable channels or netflix, so it could properly capture the true carnage that is 40k

I'm hearing all these comments about how it's the end of 40K or how the imperium is screwed or how GW has messed up. I personally like the change this brings, it allows for more stories to be made and the saying "The planet broke before the Guard" would light a fire in the imperium making it even harder for the forces of Chaos to get foot holds on worlds and their followers would be hunted with even more ferocity. This also allows GW to release new models as the tech priests start to reveal new technology or found tech. I also have my own theory that the Emperor will rise again and basically go "I've had enough of this" and start taking the fight to the Chaos Gods
I truly wonder how the grim dark future will end.

I couldn't be bothered to check all 250 comments, but I think you at around 10:00 you are skipping a massive part of the story and jump right in the middle. Just as a sort of constructive criticism.
I think you may have accidentally edited out a section between the section with trazyn and the bit about the admech. You go from talking about trazyn to talking about a techpriest with no transition whatsoever.

I enjoy reading the 40K books though I been on a break from them for a while. By chance I just now heard that apparantly Cadia had fallen and am really curious to hear everything about it. However, as I said I enjoy reading the novels, so are there any books that cover it? If not, then I will want to watch this video.

I know alot of people don't like the Imperial Gard army but they actually are my first and only army before I even looked at 40k book. I've not actually looked deep in it's history but have they been used more than just meat shields?
Nope. The only value a guardsman has is as a meatshield. Still more value than an ordinary citizen of the Imperium, i.e. nothing.
According do Bowden, Civilians see them as hereos. Space Marines (loyalists and traitors) not. They get shot by their superiors and are basically a living shield for their tanks. But to quote Castor from DoW2: "It's my job to spend the life of my men, not to waste them" (not exactly what he said, but that was more or less the sense).
So yeah, they die. Like, all the time. But they normally die standing. So people at the internet having a hard one for the 300 movie celebrate them, because Guardsmen are experts in having heroic last stands. Or catastrophal, yet sucessful offensive-strategies. Or tank-battles.

I should add: "Proud" is probably a very optimistic word. They die. Some brave, some fearing for their live, some getting shot by their comissar, some completely clueless whats happening. (In a mediocre book about Ultramarines a guardsmen dies because a piece of the roof falls down and kills him, after he survived one year of Necron-invasion). The term i would use for the most guardsmen is "determination". They don't want to be here, but they got a job to do and the last soldier who suggested to fall back just got shot by a superoir, so might as well screw it and fight, because there is the little chance to survive this front-line-combat (by holding the line until Space Marines arrive or the enemy runs out of soldiers), and they are gonna take it. Not exactly heroic, but guardsmen carry a glorified flashlight and a poor excuse for an armor into a battle against the countless horrors of the galaxy, so nobody can blame them^^

I was there, I fought on Kasr Vasan, I won 14 battles for the forces of chaos that day. Abaddon looked out on the battlefield and saw it could go either way, and teleporter with his retinue right by side and faught along with us to victory. He swathed a path of annihilation wherever he went, slaying Cadian troops and Marines.
At the end of the battle, the planet burned, the forces of chaos spewed across its surface. The lost and the damned chanted Kill! Maim! Burn! A mantra that was equally celebrated by the followers of Chaos undivided, this was the ultimate glory of Abaddons 13th black crusade. He returned to the world eater and destroyed the planet from above to much delight in the revelry of the screams of the forces of chaos on the planet below.
Phase 1: return to Cadia
Phase 2: establish mining operations on the fragments of Cadia
Phase 3: export mined metals to forge world to manufacture sentinels.
Phase 4:CADIA STANDS!
Battlegroup Solar could have absolute wrecked the chaos fleets if they werent busy trying to kill eachother.....Phalanx got there extremely quick from earth, if Solar gave near full support, it would have been a win

I love 40K lore, but fuuuuuck spending $50 on that damn "codex"/book. It's about $25 overpriced. I would rather just pick up a copy used in the future, or when GW sell 1 and the rest of the series together as a set. No way I can afford $50 for that book right now.
Besides, some of the rants I read say the story has some big holes (Arch mentioned some nonsense about Be'lakor warping aboard the Phalanx, ugh) and is kinda disjointed. I do want it for the artwork and to read the minutiae some day, though.

Ya know, this was a well told story. It reminds me however, have you done a 40 facts video for the Battle of Macragge? I've seen several videos on it but I couldn't find one from OneMindSindicate. I think new fluff might have been added to it as well, would love to see a video on that. The final stand of the Ultramarines 1st company and their subsequent destruction is something I think you'd have fun with, and it's a story worth being told honestly.

The population of the imperium is estimated to be roughly 10 quadrillion, or 10 billion billion. Assuming a 20% tithing rate, which is reasomable, the imperial guard has 2 quadrillion troops.
Given that 10% of the imperial guard was lost when cadia fell, that means there were 200 trillion lost.
Given that, it's safe to say at least .0025% of that was permenentely garrisoned. Therefore, Cadia must have had minimum 5 billion guardsmen stationed there at any time.
So it´s no wonder that every Imperial Guardsman considers the Kasrkin as the best of the best when it comes down to fighting Chaos (not including the Grey Knights). And their reputation, I think, will even rise now that Cadia is gone and they are - in lack of better words - an "endangered species".
