Me after ezio trilogy ended:
Another assassins creed game?
No. You will stay here.
I have seen enough for one life.
Yeahhhhhh lmao
Had enough.
Ubisoft!....(he's talking to me???)...I considered assassin's creed a great franchise, but now the past games linger in my mind like an image from an old dream...I do not know what you are doing to the franchise and by what means you can hear me...but I know you are listening..I have played these games the best I could not knowing their purpose but drawn forward like a moth to distant moon....But here at last I discover a strange truth...We are only cash cows for your company...Who are we who have been so cursed to play games of a deteriorating franchise unable to share our frustrations....??...Maybe you will answer all the questions I have asked...Maybe you will be the one who makes all these suffering worth something in the end...For now... Listen to our complaints

This line wrecked me the first time I played this game, almost 11 years ago. It still does.
I know right I love the amount of respect he gave Altier even if he was dead
I feel literal goosebumps everytime I watch this line. Amazing writing
its too good!
And then Connor came and took a big sh*t on it 😂
and the music perfectly fits the moment
The whole “ i’ve seen enough for one life” shook me to the core and still does to this day. A man just knowing he has seen enough and is humble enough to admit it.
Fear the man who knows when the time to stop is, and learn from the man who has the wisdom to follow that advice, even when he will have everything at his finger if he continues.
A line Altair says he wished he had the humility to say all those years ago...but he didn't, and by the time he admitted it he was in too deep.
And so Ezio decides to put down his blades, be with his family, and live well, as Altair wished his son to do. Honestly I think Ezio found wisdom at the end of this journey after all.

This game is 10 years old today, and the ending is still the best ending in the series. The story was a masterpiece.
The ending was phenomenal, the rest of the story? Absolutely not.
Facts absolutely gold game
@@ndl0857 But Altaïr memories were good missions. The game was great, but could be better in some areas, including story.
@@ndl0857 as someone who recently 100% the game I can say there were more highs than lows of the game overall. In regards to the story I believe it is meant to be in some way Ezio's fall. He made a lot of mistakes, took an innocent life, burned down a town to take down one target, and at the end when Ezio walks with Sophia you can see how much he has grown from the wayward youth in AC 2 as well as the mentor of AC brotherhood. You see him at the end of his journey reflecting on what he has learned over the years and he finally gets some closure on the mystery of Desmond first mentioned by Juno. The story is phenomenal as it is meant to be both a closure to Ezio's character and in someways, as I mentioned before, his fall. The parts I don't like is the tower defense crap and the dlc was in my opinion one of the worst dlcs I have ever played. I love subject 16, Clay Kasmerik, and I like how we get some lore about him but locking the conclusion to his dlc behind finding all the collectables makes it a pain.
Tl;dr: AC Revelations may have some faults but in my opinion its story is one of the best of the series with the fact that it covers elements of Ezio on 2 fronts.
Did you watch the Ezio's death video?

Big facts😂it's probably the reason why i love philosophy

The scene where Altair and his son talk for the final time together the music itself is just so perfect for this scene. Always makes me shed a little tear especially when Altair's son says to him, " All that is good in me, came from you Father." Makes me even more grateful for my father in my life.
The first time I played this, it made me see my father diferently, more like a normal human being, with his weaknesses and strenghts, and how hard he fought to give to me and my siblings the things that a child needs and deserves. It made me not look to him like a perfect hero anymore, but like a regular person, a loving father who kept fighting for us, despite his failures, weaknesses and losses.
That ending is something else. Even though it is contained in a game, it somehow is above itself. It is the materialized concept of art.
True guys true 🍻

Although many will disagree, but this is the best AC game. Everything was perfect, the story, Ezio and Altaïr and the other characters, the missions and weapons(if only there were more assassination missions), the location, the time, the music, the beginning, the ending...A MASTERPIECE.
Exactly
It's not my favorite, but it's definitely a masterpiece, and an excellent conclusion for Ezio's story.
"I have seen enough for one life" is such a simple line, but it says everything, especially if you've played both of the previous games and lived that with him.
Revelations is my favourite AC game.
The music is the only one somewhat lacking as it wasn't completely done by Kyd like it's predecessors.
"All that is good in me, began with you, father."
Still touches me. It's such an honour, and an amazing achievement to raise a child to a point where they honour you and are good, genuine people.
Altair knew everything by asking the apple:
1. He knew about people who came before and the upcoming danger. He felt it was his duty to learn and protect.
2. He knew the time of his own death. He dies shortly after sitting on the chair in the same position.
3. He knew Ezio, the conduit, will come. He made those memory discs for him.
4. He knew apple must stay hidden until it passes its secrets to Desmond. He knew Desmond.
5. He knew what he knew eludes the understanding of even next generations.
6. He learnt how to build a hand-canon to kill Abbas while hand-canons were introduced by Da Vinci in AC2 through codex pages made by Altair. In AC Brotherhood, at the beginning, the mechanic talks about a new design from France that shoots canon from hand.
7. He told Abbas that he looked into apple and learnt about the past and the future.
8. He made such a bold decision that even Ezio refrained from going further and he said: "I have seen enough for one life."
All of this but why? because "In much wisdom, is much grief. And he that increaseth that knowlege, increaseth sorrow."
Hold on is that.... Al Mualim's quote during Desmond's stress session in AC1?! WHAT! 🤯🤯🤯
@@fatetaker4507 Yeah that quote is what Al Mualim told to Altair in AC1
Altair is such an important character in the series, I feel like people don't give him enough credit because you know. "AC1 repetitive and clunky blah blah blah"
Without Altair the events of AC2 all the way to the modern day would have never happened, and I don't understand why Ubisoft decided to make these prequels to AC1 since absoloutely nothing important happens before AC1 anyway.
This new canon that ubisoft has created isn't real to me.
- The Assassins came from Al Mualim and were based on the real life 'hashashins'
- Kassandra doesn't exist.
- Bayek and Aya didn't create the creed.
- The Templars came from the crusaders.
- The Animus could only review genetic memories meaning no bullshit animus like in Origns-Valhalla
- Alfred didn't create the Templars
- The Hidden One's don't exist.
- The Order of Ancients don't exist.
Fuck this new canon Ubisoft has created.
@@fredster594 well to be fair, in AC2, the vault that holds Altaïr’s armour has other status of Assassin members long before him, including Amunet(Aya), so sorry to say, but it has always been canon, but I’d imagine they had a more realistic approach to their stories back then rather than mythological battle galore, but we may never know for sure.......
@@faisalsukhtian1932Good points! But I always imagined back in 2009 that Al Mualim created the Creed from these "Assassin" members and used their abilities and tools to create the Assassins. Not that these were actual Assassins, that had a creed and has fought Templars before the events of the Crusades.
No RPG Element, No level-up system, No micro-transaction, No skills points... Just an amazing story and gameplay.

This scene had the 3 founding pillars of the Game, Altaír, Ezio & Desmond in one *single* frame
**yes lets just forget connor**
@AstroAce Yes indeed let's do just that. Connor was the last to join the party and his story was merely an addition to a story that was reaching its conclusion. Altair was the one who started this entire quest, Ezio was the one who followed in his footsteps, revived the brotherhood and reached the revelations. Connor was just, well, Connor. An Indian dude on a revenge quest who just so happened to hold a clue on how to unfuck the world.
I mean, the game was good no doubt, but as far as the founding pillars of AC go, Connor isn't one of them.

It’s almost meta. Like the game or character speaking to the player. So much cool shit could be done with this series. I still remember when I almost shit my pants when it hit me Minerva wasn’t looking at Ezio, but me. Talking to me. Really it was Desmond through the animus but it still felt like me. This series could get freaky and innovative man, but instead tries too hard to be the Witcher 3. I like Odyssey but it’s wasted potential with a franchise I love.
When Altair told Darim to be with his family, I finally understood what it meant. He told his son to go live his life for himself, not for the brotherhood. Altair couldn’t, his life was the Assassins. It was the only life he has ever known, like he said himself. And seeing Ezio, Desmond, and Altair in the same room even if they are centuries apart, made me feel sad at the fact that we just watched Altair reach his last moments, Ezio reach his final moments as an Assassin, and see Desmond finish the work that his Assassin ancestors believed of. By the way, Altair Ibn La Ahad, means 'The bird, son of no one' if translated to english from arabic. nice to know lmao

That makes Altair

I love the whole ezio trilogy but this ending holds a special place in my heart for the respect it showed to altair and ezio both. “Fratello mio” was very touching.
More than a decade later, this seen still makes me emotional as hell.
All that was good in Assassin's Creed, began with Altair and ended with Ezio
FYN Fynia Agreed but Edward Kenway was good
FYN Fynia it ended with Edward
Connor was my favorite by far
FYN Fynia Assasinscreed 3 was a lot of fun.

Ya Dingus *Hidden blades come out mid bling steal* "Shit! Oh fuck! I am so sorry man! It's a habit I see body my mind just says stab stab stab and bam there's a corpse! But you...were already a corpse so...uh...Bye!"
The fact that Ezio discovering his life has been part of something grander than he will understand is something he would call a blessing is beautiful. It showcases that he truly understood what being a Master Assassin is: not just one who does great things, but one who passes their knowledge to the future. It was Altair’s entire journey from his own game through to Revelations. Edward learned something similar. In the end, if the fight will not be won today, better to prepare to fight tomorrow.

+ArthaxtaDaVince777 it is
'It is a good life we lead, brother."
-"The best. May it never change."
"And may it never change us."
I didn't even know about this until now. I played AC 1, 2, and Botherhood but was pretty burnt out by the time this one came out and got bored playing 3 (not that it was a bad game. Just wasn't in the mood for it) and haven't played and AC game since. Is Black Flag the best PS4 era one to get back into the series with?
Literally I’m crying for Ezio, he lost his father, brothers, uncle, friends and his love Christina 💔.. ezio triology is one of my favourite game..
Man the old AC games were a different breed. The dialogue and the art, simply amazing.
The transition with the camera rotating around the chair is still one of the greatest things I've ever seen in any video game.
this has happened similarly in god of war 2018
Kratos' boat trip back to his shack to dig up an old past he swore would stay forgotten
Yeah but it doesnt have the same impact.
I was just about to say that.
Such a simple use of transition but it's so impactful.
I thought the god of war transition was impactful
Hmmm maybe not as impactful as this since that’s Altair and ezio... I’m a huge fan of GoW though but it didn’t seem as impactful for me because Kratos’ trilogy was literally one game ago, but still dope to see Athena just pop up like that
This scene was amazing. Altair, Aesop, and Desmond, all in the same room, even if Altair is a skeleton and Desmond isn't physically present.
5 years and only now I realized auto correct somehow corrected Ezio to Aesop. Far be it for me to correct it now.
Jorrel Doe Who the fuck is Aesop?
Jorrel Doe Aesop 😂😂😂
Leo Richards the fable writer bro. he was there

When the camera transitioned from altair dying to Ezio....One of the moments i will never forget . Absolutely fantastic game ,no other game has hit me in the feels more than the ezio trilogy

Apparently the apple was what kept him alive for longer & gave him strength

Altaïr's skeleton still holds up after 300 years.
He is the Great Altaïr
@Starscream_xxx he ment hold up as in not falling apart as it should because there is literally nothing holding the bones in place so technically it should all fall down into the chair

"Sit a moment, and rest..." Only in Assassin's Creed can you make objectives pull at the player's heartstrings.

Once altair was the mentor of whole brotherhood...Now he can't even grab a chair properly to sit.perhaps this is the most aweful sight..When he kept the apple in the seal he realised that h has grown old and cant stay alive anymore. The apple was providing him strength..And then the revolving around the chair it shows how time passed by and the second mentor ezio has come..damn good !!!!
Dude, a young person in his mid 20s or early 30s would struggle to find a chair and sit on it in a room that is so dark.
What's left to say about a man way over the age of 90 ?
"The Rest will go with me to Alexandria"
Something died inside of me when he said that
The thing about the library of Alexandria is that when people entered the city, their books were confiscated and copies were made, the originals were sent to the library and the copies were given back to the people.
This gives a lot of historians a lot of hope that one day, in some godforsaken archeological site, a copy of their favourite book may be discovered.
Fortunately, Darim went to Alexandria after the burning, so in the AC universe a lot would still be retrievable even without the animus
Yep. Me too.
What about Alexandria?
@@kristianjacobsen352 the library was burned
This scene was perfect in all senses. Music cinematography story.... Ezio´s Story spanning 3 Games is really one of a kind in gaming history basically seeing him from birth to all ages, seeing how he grows falls, rises again until he is done. This was such a perfect conclusion to his story that it couldn´t have been done better and frankly Ubisof has been trying ever since to grasp that magic again.
They had a shot with Bayek but they butchered the present story and with odysee and Valhalla when they decided that they no longer needed a coherent clear Main Character the games really died....
People criticize Revelations for not bringing anything new to the series and basically being Brotherhood with cosmetic changes. And it genuinely was Ubisoft having started their bad habit of rushing games. But to me, they somehow brought forth a game so mesmerizing and absolutely PERFECT as an end to the Ezio Saga. The setting, the soundtrack, the characters, and this ending. Just too beautiful.
True. It never felt much to me like brotherhood ,even if they reused lot of stuff from it
Aye, Revelations was okay. But the games after that... meh
Altair was such a badass.
Bradley Whoric yeah beat off master assassins as an old cripple
+ArthaxtaDaVince777
altair beated master or 4 rank lvl assassins at the age of 82 not many people can do that :)
altaïr = badass assassin
Keep in mind though, farther back in history the assassin lineage had MORE assassin genes. The more they procreated and spread throughout the world the weaker the concentration each generation had.
So Altair was probably more assassin his whole life than Ezio could possibly accomplish.
ArthaxtaDaVince777 This was mentioned in the game. Most people in modern time that have some Assassin genes have few if all. Desmond was special because he had a surplus.
Basically the humans to have these genes had massive concentrations of them, and these became the people naturally talented to be assassins.
As time moved on it was dispersed through mating.
GeorgeHale1984 So you can only become an Assassin with the proper, "genes."
"all that is good in me, began with you father" is one of the greatest line in gaming
If the game released today, they would call it sexist.
