In todays video we are here to react to the latest rangers spfl match as rangers lost to celtic in a must win league match that saw rangers take the lead brilliantly through aaron ramsey only to fall apart again with familar mistakes and similar issues regarding players & poor subs by giovanni van bronkhorst. this is rangers 1 celtic 2 2022 reaction as celtic go 6 points clear this is our thoughts and opinions on rangers 1 celtic 2, whats yours?

I watch Ryan 118 for the same reason. Both honest streamers and cheers for not just coming on giving it the 🥳 🎉
Mate I did the same with this channel about 3 years ago and haven't stopped watching him since. And generally comment section ain't too dangerous here, can have actual conversations with genuine football fans

@@scott1888 think you hit the nail on the head there. Plus I think the people that come back week after week are of the same ilk and that's why we can have conversations together and just enjoy our sport the way it's meant to be enjoyed.
Celtic being able to bring on five strong subs in the second half definitely helped see out the game when the energy levels started dropping. Bitton rock solid when he came on and Maeda has an unbelievable engine. Just didn't stop running all game.
We've had to make do with a regular 12-14 players but when Hagi got injured that left us short again. Those regular haven't had help from the squad. As you intimated, two games a week with a regular team has had an impact as they're running in empty. Aribo is a fantastic player but he's knackered.
Squad not good enough and that's down to Parks.

@@chicsharp5786 we have an enormous sqaud, i think its the biggest in scotland thers like 40 plus players in it. The problem is there is very little quality in it. Ive been saying it since gerrad took charge. Bring in QUALITY over quantity. He brought in LOADS of fringe playets bit part projrcts & loanees etc instesd of bringong 5 or 6 of thpse in & payinv thrur wages just bring in ONE quality player & pay him what 5 or 6 of those others who dont even get on the bench anyway would get if need be. I'd rather have a sqaud if 20 or 22 quality players than 40 to 50 very average or poor players. It's a very simple philosophy to follow but it doesn't see to be what anyone at Rangers wants to follow.
It's clearer than ever now that this Rangers squad winning the league last year was more to do with Celtic's implosion than anything else.
Nearly every player they've signed has been excellent and lets face it if it wasn't for Morelos then how big would the gap really be.
6 points ahead before Christmas now 6 behind. Gio isn't up to it, his substitutions are shambolic. Bottled the title at home as well as the £40m that comes with it and I'm sure players will need to be sold.
Finally, whoever chucked that glass bottle on the pitch is an absolute embarrassment to the football club.

Listen I’m a Celtic fan here, always tune in to watch your videos CJ and as many have already mentioned brilliant analysis, just wanted to say about how the bottle incident was a disgrace and that, however every team has individuals that take it too far,and good and bad everywhere you go, but the point of this comment is seriously don’t let the result get your moods down because I see close hand it can bring many people down mentally and at the end of the day it’s a game of football, look after yourselves don’t let it affect your life and keep your heads high, there’s always gunna be good and bad days for both sets of teams
Aye, cos Thursday is the next big game and a chance to put right what went wrong. And rewards for a good result on Thursday are very interesting and can give the fans a wee bit of of happiness after a poor performance.

This would mean that say queens park are in dire need of money ( though they're amatuers) or dumbarton, they could sell their titles to whomever wants to buy them .
Past titles won by any club are not financial assets in themselves. I'm not going to try to convince you of anything just show you the logic behind it and if they were attainable financially then Charles green claimd he owns them

CJ I have to give you credit where it’s due. You call it as you see it, impartial and professional and with a solid tactical eye.
No bigotry on show, you’re a football fan who follows his team with a passion.
For me Celtic have been the better side for some time now. Hankering back to 2021 I’d put it as simple as this, Celtic were not as bad as people made out, and Rangers not as good as people made out. But that’s history and history only remembers the winners as they say.
Perhaps your European Journey has masked over a few cracks, but it’s still going unlike ours.

@@sharpy5550 9 points in the UEL group of death and one bad game in the conference league leading to us fielding a reserve team in the second leg. Been very positive considering the team we were last season, compared to now, can’t expect to win many games or go long runs yet he’s won games and showed very positive signs in his first year as manager, has rebuilt the team and a treble could be on the cards. You’d piss yourself laughing if I said we could win the treble this year after losing the league by 25 points last year. Ange Postecoglou has done sensational since his arrival at Celtic Park.
As a Celtic fan it's good to hear a rangers fan speak the truth it was 50 50 for most of the game but we created the best chances

Any Rangers fan that cannot see that we deserved to be beaten today is delusional. What’s hardest to accept is how well we have performed in Europe and yet been so passive domestically. I saw today’s result coming and I’m not surprised as it’s the story of the season. I really worry about playing Braga midweek as they’re a young hungry side.
Been a Rangers supporter for 69 years. For Celtic to come to Ibrox and beat us in such an important game with our home crowd , I say well done to them. You should send your video to Rangers management because you are spot on with your assessment of the game, our playing style and players. This defeat should waken the club up, we have major issues all over the park.

Great analysis mate. We all share your frustration. Scunnered is absolutely the right word. Our defending was shambolic. McGregor somehow managed to keep us in the game and cost us the game at the same time. We were good for 5 minutes, and then didn't control the game again. Gio's subs were shambolic.

I thought Aaron Ramsey had a great game taking him off the park was a mistake it's an up hill struggle until the end of the season, it's not over yet but we are depending on Celtic dropping points.

McGreggor made that amazing save but just can’t seem to get off his line nowadays. Need to see the season out then make some big changes.
Thought Ramsey was quality, can’t understand why we kept passing it around in defence instead of going right to Kent and Ramsey. Cut backs instead of crosses and big punts, clever attacking play instead of hit and hope. Celtic defended so well and nothing was going to drop for us.

Totally agree with you lad, that was another dire league performance, we’re playing at home and knowing what’s at stake, and put that performance in, absolute joke. Can’t play high balls in to Kemer Roofe, we can all see that. The managers substitutions were scandalous. To be honest we could have got beaten by more. You never hide after a bad result and, while I wouldn’t always agree with you (for obvious reasons), you have been gracious in defeat the last two derbies and have given an honest and fairly balanced assessment of this game. We changed formation but didn’t change tactics to suit those players. You play roofe which was right we need a target man in the box. If all we are going to do is lump crosses in. Good honest assessment of the game
CJ I've watched a few of your videos as a a Celtic supporter mate and I've got to say you're a top man. You've always adhered to your principles and said what you believe to be true even on controversial topics. You've pretty much nailed the events of Sunday to a tee. What I'm going to say next is absolutely genuine and I mean it from my heart, if any young Rangers supporter is looking for a role model then they could do a lot worse than yourself. You're passionate about your club but there's none of the spurious bile that comes with a majority of your support that comes onto our sites and I can't pay you any bigger complement than that. I like to think I'm a good judge of character and as I alluded to earlier you're a top man.
The glass on the pitch at start of 2nd half pure crazy and dangerous for both sets of players but well spotted by Joe hart.
I think Ramsey is too clever and skilled to play in the rangers team, you could see him asking for the ball , trying to link up and no one noticed or reacted quick enough then he got subbed 😂 Ryan jack done nothing , Celtic didn't even play to they're full potential as well but deserved the win , Joe aribo , no words 😂😂😂
How many games has Ramsey had to bed In with his new Squad. Very few. He will most probably go on to eliminate Scotland or Ukraine in the playoffs such is his pedigree.

That's twice Ange has out managed Gio this season, our title defence this season has been awful. The Celtic board have backed their new manager and he's brought in quality players. It's criminal we've let a 6 point lead slip to fall 6 points behind. It really won't surprise me if they do the treble.
This season we've fallen like a deck of cards.
That was without Kyogo, where as we lacked Morelos and had no real quality replacements.

When Ramsey was subbed it felt like we had given up and why wasn’t Steve Davis on for Jack makes no sense but it’s at the back where we lack confidence and you could see it in the poor passing by Goldson and the hesitant McGregor. You’re spot on about the poor service to Roofe and why we didn’t play more 1/2’s with him on the deck showed what we were missing from Buf. I’m gutted that the league has more or less gone now but we need to pick ourselves up and go for the rest of the season to get some pride back. I've been saying fae the summer, no spending any money on that squad will catch up with us. Cannae even make meaningful subs noo the squad is that weak. Big changes required now, but let's start with removing Ross Wilson, his recruitment is abysmal. And I don't care who likes it, van bronckhorst isn't the man for the job. He's a soft touch.

Good analysis as usual, can understand the disappointment, but I thought both teams showed up today. Intensity was there, and both teams made it difficult for quality on the ball to show through for the opposition. Celtic edged it with chances created, but if it ended a draw, couldn't have complained too much either.

Good honest review mate, I've been saying this for months now that Rangers squad is overrated. Some decent players but they don't play as a team especially defensively . Celtic weren't great today but you know we are well organized and always a goal threat. When you rely on a goalie who is obviously past his best coupled with defenders who can't defend like Goldson and Tavenier your going to struggle.

Thought Bassey was your best player yesterday, really negated the threat from Jota who is usually our most dangerous threat going forward. , he really is a beast. I think part of the problem is too many rangers players have been there too long players like kamara,aribo, Kent, barisic,goldson are all good players but think it's time to sell them and freshen team up also need to sign players with right mentality as I feel there are some rangers players in that squad who don't have the mentality to be at club who demand to win every trophy available

CJ you are very honest , we absolutely cheered when Rangers took off Ramsay and replaced him with Arfield you replaced a match winner with a with a journeyman who has no creativity,he gets lucky occasionally but he is never a top player .Too many Rangers players thought the game was won in the first 5 minutes .Will they ever learn ?keep up the good work even though you may have some more pain in the next month or so.

Anyone wanting Gio to stay as manager at this point is doing so on blind faith and/or the fact he used to play with us. His tactics are non existent and his subs are borderline trolling they're that bad, couldn't give 2 fucks he's only had one window and wasn't given any money to spend in that window or what's happened in Europe leaving on Aribo amd bringing on arfield today was beyond criminal not to mention how he set us up in the last old firm. Alot of rangers fans think the league was lost today, for me i could tell in that game against ross county we weren't winning the league never mind the Dundee United game or that motherwell disaster. Legit even if he wins the europa and scottish cup, which isn't going to happen, I would still want him gone he had every advantage a 6 point lead an invincible league winning team and up against a team on the rebuild and has well and truly fucked it

Cant say i'm not pleased about the result but, to be honest, i would have quite happily have taken a draw which would have made the rest of the season far more interesting.

Celtic is deserved on the league this year. The only thing as a club we can do is win the cup and try progress in the europa.

C.J, fine reaction as always, yes the same old movie, Greegs planted on his line, when he does make a save it's pushed out to a rival, Tavenier panicking in defence and absolutely no quality going forward and I'll repeat it again he will never be a Rangers captain, Goldson panicking in defence and making mistakes all over the park and gifting possession to rivals, Balogun suffering because of these two, Bassey good game and sorry for him, Jack unfortunately mediocre today, Lundstram good game, Aribo terrible, Ramsey good game, Roofe terrible, Kent mediocre. We must now concentrate on the Europa and earn as much as we can for recruitment for next season and try and win the Scottish cup to save some face. Final word, a 6 point turn around doesn't look good for the manager even if it's still Gerrard's team.

I think you’re a wee bit harsh saying that Tav is not Captain material. I agree with everything else you say, but stats don’t lie, and he is one of the most prolific full backs of this generation, I think he’s definitely worthy of the armband, but he’s always more settled when buff’s on the park.

@@olianderson9697 Oli, I know what you mean, Tav is great going forward and I've advocated that he should be given a run at RM, I just think that when we need an inspiring captain it's not him as I'm in the ahem vintage supporter category I've seen many great Rangers captains like Bobby Shearer, John Greig, Terry Butcher and Richard Gough but sorry to say Tav is nowhere near any of them, still it's all about opinions, I'm just feeling a bit down as you do after an old firm defeat. Failed by the board in the summer they backed Gerrard, but when the title was won it's like they saw no need to keep improving. The worry for me is how quicky Celtic have been transformed under a good manager, stable in goals now & more quality going forward. While we're asking questions of certain positions now, a new GK, LB(maybe) CB, CM, 2 wingers & ST at least needed in the summer. Celtic now have more depth attacking wise, they have 3 wide players that could probably be put in the same bracket as Kent. Then when Morelos is out, we always feel the gap it leaves.
A great start but then just dropped off, allowing Celtic to have more control over the game. How we allowed McGregor the time to get in the box, for the first goal was a joke.
After that goal a lot of our play seemed to be that bad at times.
MAN ON THE POST, old school yes, but that's the basics of football, proven season after season.

also a Celtic fan as you know - Rangers did not or could not employ a plan B and Celtic had the much stronger bench. I know it's early days for Bio but he sure as hell needs a transfer window as Rangers look shot - especially without Morelis but a team like Rangers should not be that reliant on one player! As a Celtic fan iam being totally honest and non biased, rangers league form has been rotten, draws , late goals to survive, absolutely stinking passing movement and relaying on " we are rangers we will win regardless"…. Not good enough, Celtic suffered from the same balls last year .... Sooner or later it gets found out and your /our luck runs out... The sad thing is like lennon last year and gio this year , they didn't learn from the near misses and obvious stale play !!.. . Arrogance on both manager s i think ! .. scrappy game today , o didn't see much quality from both teams , but as a Celtic fan , a great result !...

Your right but i think celtic have been the same mate. We had bad games that ww drew only difference is when celtic have been bad theyve won late. Dundee, dundee united, hearts and i think it was county. Difference to me isnt class from both sides the differenfe is celtic dig in and ger a late winner when they struggle where as when we need a late goal we rarely score it.
@@craigsmithbodybuilding yes mate Celtic were same for about 4 or 5 games , Ange picked up on the staleness and totally changed the team for Livingstone away , and Celtic hammered them...that's what iam saying about learning from bad form patches , he sorted it , while Lennon last year and gio this year didn't .
Great summary of the game CJ. Gio is at fault for this team selection and for not changing it yesterday, or throughout post winter break. Not good enough. Subs terrible. Need a clear out in the summer.

Another spot on analysis cj, Lundstrum and Ramsey the only 2 worth thier salt in the game,subbing Ramsey off for Arfield was a pure head scratcher and as for the morons who were throwing glass bottles on the field is pure disgusting behaviour and could have just as easily hurt one of our own. Rangers took your advice but could not achieve what Bodo/Glimt did. Interesting to see what Gio does in the cup. The players need to find something more. But it won’t get any easier with Celtic full of confidence.

Domestic matches this season are just not good enough hard to watch especially after our results in Europe we definitely missed the big man upfront
