I would take McKenna On a free all day long. Has the physicality in defence we’re lacking. Has pace and good in air. What’s no to like, I hear people saying we can do better, Davis is a better player than McKenna but has he really been that great for £4m? We need to buy players who are suited to our league and get back to winning our bread and butter
McKenna would be another Shane Dufffy. It doesn’t matter how good a person can defend. If they want to play for Rangers they need to be able to pass.
Rangers biggest problem is they buy strikers whose main attributes are everything except scoring and defenders who are good at everything except defending. Strikers who run channels well and defenders who can dribble out of defence and pass , how much success have we had trying this? Next to nothing. Carlos cuellar wasn’t exactly beckenbeur on the ball but stick it in the air and had would run through a brick wall for us. One of best CB’s I’ve saw at Ibrox in last 30 years

Hopefully before Barron signs an intense training and fitness evaluation and rigorous medical is carried out to the full. As well as a deep look by doctors on his injury history and the same situation hopefully is there for all signings. We have to be way more careful.

Re "Worlds greatest DJs" comment about building work at Ibrox, i've heard through the grape vine that the reason why we are going down the route of young talent / lesser league finds etc in transfer market is due to the fact that Ibrox is in dire need of major structural work needing to be carried out at this time which is taking funds away from transfers.
Ibrox is undergoing scheduled upgrades to the stadium. It both increases capacity, and provides more facilities for the disabled. This is scheduled worked and nothing but a positive.
