This was one of the best episodes of the Hitchcock series. Lizzie is covering up for her sister Emma. Alfred notes how kids used to sing "Davie, Davie Crocket, King of the wild frontier" in the fifties (this was 1955).

I would have right away told that reporter this.
"My sister is innocent. She wouldnt like her name smeared. And if you anger her, one if two things will happen. If shes Lizzy the innocent, then you're wrong about her and you have no story. But if youre right about her, I would think twice about getting her upset.
