My intermittent fmla to care for my mom, expired and I had not gotten in a new form before I had to take a week off. I have been on intermittent fmla for 9 yrs since mom had her stroke and used either sick or vacation time when caregivers would not show up or she was in the hospital. As of now I have run out of all paid leave. So now I have no fmla in place and the week was unpaid. Can they now terminate me?
