Accepting a New Job While You’re Out on FMLA

Can an employee who is out on leave under the Family & Medical Leave Act quit their job to accept a new one? Or are you obligated to return to the employer from which you took FMLA leave? Is there any risk of being accused of FMLA fraud?

Hi guys, so I went on FMLA due to stress induced migraines and high blood sugar. I took another similar job that isn’t so stressful and my health is better. I’m being investigated for fraud but I don’t feel like it’s fraud

Okay so I am looking throughout the internet and I CANNOT find the answer and would love some help. My wife and I have stayed in Washington State since college and have since have been blessed with being pregnant. We have met all the requirements for Maternity Leave for the state but want to move closer to family for support with said pregnancy. So we are moving to Virginia come November because thats when my work contract ends and Ive found a new job in Virginia. We have no idea if she will be able to collect those benefits if we move! are we stuck in Washington if we want to receive those benefits!?
