hahah I'm copying you man ;)
Haha thanks for dropping by!
Appreciate for using unedited raw. Helps a lot.
Have been on the hunt for my first lens after kit lens. Thanks for the video.
No problem, thanks for watching
This helps me choose my next lens. Thanks
You're welcome! I'm glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
Hello, when you are filming in your video, do you use a gimball? At 8:40 for example is it with a gimball? I think it's important this kind of detail
No, the only gimbal shot is when my wife is running in the white long sleeve shirt on the bridge. Thanks for watching!
I used to own both but the Sony 35mm was my favorite of the two just because it was so small. It was on my a6600 so OSS didn’t matter too much for me.
That's cool! Thanks for watching
Great video man! I have a sigma 30 but now considering the sony 35 too 😄
Haha yeah they each have their advantages
nice review!! does the OSS makes a lot of difference for photo if it’s an A600?
Well probably not as big of a deal for photo as for video, but it will allow you to use a slightly slower shutter speed when shooting handheld vs if you didn't have the OSS. This can be handy when shooting in low light.
Nice review sir..just wanna ask..i got my A6500 with ibis on it..does combination ibis and oss lens makes video stabilization even better or just the same with no oss lens?
it does help make it better to have both stabilization in the camera body and lens. Thanks for checking out my channel! I appreciate it!
@@HeartbeatsPhotography thnks sir..but does it crop the frame by turning on both stabilization?
@@familyjoys nope. no crop. pure benefit haha
@@HeartbeatsPhotography ok thnks sir! Gonna subscrbs your channel
@@familyjoys Thanks I really appreciate that! Have a great night!
is sony with 1.8 aperture good at night with low light? Because I saw in your video it looks like sigma is much better
The Sigma is better in low light but the sony is still very good, Thanks for watching!
I have both now my sony is up for sale. Sigma is sharper, cheaper, wider.
Please😫🙏🙏 reply 1st comment
Which one is better in cinematic video
Which one is better in wedding photography
Well if you watched the entire video you will see which I prefer for b-roll/cinematic video and which I prefer for photography. Thanks for watching! I really appreciate it.
Perfect video 🙌
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Amateur photographer here. I am thinking of getting a Sony alpha 6700 and I wanted to ask you if with the E 35mm f 1.8 OSS would be a good fit for night video shooting. I have an iPhone 15 but I want to upgrade with my night footage. Do you have any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance
@user-kf5yl2ek2c well the Sigma is an f1.4 lens, so it will do slightly better in low light. Plus with the active stabilization of the a6700 you can get away without having the OSS on the Sony. Depends on the focal length that you want, but any lens that's an f.4 or 1.8 will be better for low light. I've never owned it, but I've heard the Sigma 16 f1.4 is an insanity good lens
Good video! 👍🏻
Thanks!!! And thanks for watching!
Nice comparison vid!
Thanks!
Sony 35mm 1.8 OSS just dropped in price by $100 since the 3 new Sony apsc lenses came out!
Oh wow! Im surprised because its a completely different focal length but That's great!
I am thinking of buying the sony lens. But is it good for product video shoot and like to interview someone/live streaming
It is very good for product shots and can be good for interviews but could be a little too zoomed depending on how close the camera is to the subject
@@HeartbeatsPhotography Okay thanks! To compare with kitlens, of course this is a better quality right?
@@ifwatsyahir6686 I have never used the kit lens but I would assume it is much better.
@@HeartbeatsPhotography okay thanks! Please do more review. Like your explanation & style. One sub for you.
@@ifwatsyahir6686 Thanks!
I have both these lens and the sigma has no weather sealing thats a deal breaker for me outdoors.
true, but its a great studio lens or if you're not in the weather. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
Maybe i received a bad copy but, I hated the 35mm, my 18-135 was sharper in comparison.
That's interesting I still own mine and enjoy it. Well it's possible you're copy was defective, that's too bad. I appreciate you checking out my Channel!
