Suggestions: -America Pox: upon first contact with the New World, the colonizing countries (and maybe their neighboring countries) are inflicted with a disease outbreak that cuts down their population up to 90% like what happened in the New World. Natives could also get a tech boost after this event occurs too. -Relocate the trade nodes to totally new spots on the map -Add a HRE equivalent on each of the other continents
The vanilla game doesn't feature oil and the USA doesn't target any specific trade goods as far as I am aware. as for mods I have no idea what they do in relation to oil or how the USA values it in said mods.
