When this was going on, another person and I, in chat, were discussing why every nation collapsed. If you spam every positive modifier, you cannot ensure that the AI will use them to expand. But spam every negative modifier, and the nation will explode. I think just having positive modifiers would have been enough. If someone wants a nation to fail, they could buff the nations around them.
Yeah definitely, plus you could take away money as well, which I think itself is strong enough, since you could drive them into bankruptcy, combine that with buffing surrounding nations and it could definitely work.
@@combrade-t This will also help nations with big fandoms, as money can stack up until 1000000 unlike other modifiers like stability which can easily be lowered to -3 if none is countering your unstability commad at the moment
Yeah, I agree that the rebel function is OP. No matter how many positive buffs you give a nation, those buffs would hardly counter the immediate threat of a rebellion, especially if rebellions are rapidly spammed within a small window of time.
Now imagine playing a game as this with chat... "Alright lets get started.... ok so someone killed my ruler and heir and im now under a PU with Austria... and we can see ive lost all manpower, prestige, and legitimacy..."
I like the idea of the rebel command being enabled for like the first 20 years just to break apart large powers but then being disabled so other tags can grow.

How about doing something similar , but people controls the diplomacy instead of buffs/debuffs? Declaring war , making peace , creating an alliance , rebelling for independence etc. ?

15:30 - Canadian Canada. Next time, maybe you could add some commands that affect the HRE, such as adding/removing princes (if that's possible). Or adding/lowering opinion/trust between countries. Changing rivalries. Basically commands that change how countries interact with each other. Might be interesting. I'd suggest an option for adding points to the HRE, but that would just lead to the empire forming within a year lol.
I kind of want to see the full stream of this, or at least a slower version. The timelapse aspect is fun and all for showing the results of chat, but the commands go by so fast that you can't really make out what commands were being used.
It was fun. I can understand why people dislike the rebellion/revolt command, but i had lot of fun with it. And IMHO it is necessary to break up the antifun nations at the start of the game. The uncommands+kill were probably way worse and I would get rid of them first. And If you think that !revolt is way to strong, limit it only for the first 50 years of game or so. But anyway, thank you for that stream.

I spent a good 30 or so minutes sending !rebel Perm just to get them to collapse, only for them to survive :((
