    I have the distinct feeling that separatist rebellions' had a large part to play in this

      @@alcazar9266 This is why I love games like EU4; where rules are the result of emergent properties rather than hard-coded bonsues. Granted, I wish they went further in that direction, so that some features, like trade and institutions, weren't so euro-centric, while still allowing for roughly historic timelines, but then the historiography of european power is a huge topic which certainly isn't going to be solved by a swedish game studio.

      @@banananotebook3331 Even if they did attempt to do this, they would spread it over as many DLCs as possible... It's better left untouched at this point.

    EU4 Timelapses: Man the AI really likes to bordergore this patch.
    Also EU4 Timelapses: lmao random province owners

    I feel like you need to do the same thing again but remove all existing cores on provinces, give every province its owner's primary culture, and remove all mission trees. Seems like a lot of countries ended up popping out of existing cores.

    • @paradoxicaloutcome1007
      @paradoxicaloutcome1007 Před 2 lety +7

      Yeah, and the culture thing also resulted in some nations turning into normal formables and losing some of their speciality. Kikondja --> Russia for example.

      @Macion-sm2ui Před 2 lety

      Or even give every province random core, random culture and random religion to make game even more random

      Buryatia is a revolter tag since 1.29. it almost never pops out though because the hordes rarely take expansion to colonize Buryat provinces, and Siberian frontiers basically erase native tags.

    @EU4 Timelapses, if you somehow could disable separatist rebels, then this would be even more interesting. Because at the moment, the separatists ends up breaking many nations in the beginning of the game and forming large nations through rebels, thus making the game significantly less random.
