"No easy trail get in or out of here." Perfect place to fish then. No interloping ying yangs. Love the videos. Keep em coming. Last night after work I actually got an 8" brown on first cast at an area I've passed by for 20 years! Love fly fishing. Who'd a thunk that simple low end technology would bring such enjoyment.
Great catch. Going after the difficult trout in hard areas is where the adventure starts. I love exploring new areas plus good looking out for the garbage.
Blue line.. love it... especially in unknown streams.. let the adventures begin..man it was fun coming along with you via utube this year.. Merry Christmas ....and thanks for taking us along for the ride... Peace and Merry Christmas
As always another high quality video of some beautiful native pennsylvania trout!! I Like your Pink Ferrari nymph and even tied up a few to try for myself!! Looking forward to your new videos in the upcoming year!! Happy New Year Woolybugged!!
Thanks for sharing Mike! I caught my first trout in those streams and really appreciate seeing them. I catch most of my trout in New Mexico and southern Colorado these days and haven't been back to PA in a really long time, perhaps I need to make a trip out that way soon! Thanks for the inspiration.
Great video as always Mike, and Merry Christmas to you. Appreciate your dedication to the sport and to helping other less proficient folks like yours truly by showing how it's done. Got the WB T-shirt with Andrea Larko's design on the back as a gift from my wife for Christmas, great gift! Have a wonderful 2019.
Great video. Stream looks very familiar. I live about 10 miles away Hunt in that area occasionally, and yes, it could be very difficult walking in certain places. Saw some brookies in there a few years ago and never followed up. Glad to see you were successful. Keep up excellent work and Merry Christmas.
You work hard for your fish sometimes my man, much respect to you. I would never think there'd be trout in them skinny little creeks haha. Oh and Merry Christmas to all you fishermen.
Merry Christmas! Wishing you tight lines in the New Year and thanks for sharing your adventures. Obviously it’s worth editing out, but how often do you get hung up fishing that tight brush? You were bullseying those bow and arrow casts in some great spots!
Jim Rodgers I of course get hung up! But a lot of times I get hung when I’m stuck on a rock and in trying to free it the rod shoots the line into a tree! It’s all part of the experience! Merry Christmas Jim!
another nice one. Thanks and Merry Christmas. And as a newbie I wonder how you keep your hands warm - looked up the brand you mentioned and will give a try.
Merry Christmas. Great video as usual. I was out the same day on a WTS just a little bigger, caught a few wild browns and one wild rainbow. I fish a Tenkara rod in tight streams. How effective is a float when set so far back from the fly in such skinny water?
Merry Christmas and tight lines. It would be great to see one from Potter County. There are a lot of good blue lines up there, it is just hard to chose which one to fish. I have been fishing them since the early seventies and I still cannot pick a favorite Brookie stream since hey all have unique features and scenery. Hard to beat SE Potter.
Can you show more tangles and flies in trees so us humps fell better? Lol. There was a WB wool hat under the tree this year. Merry Christmas. Hope it’s a fishy 2019.
First off, Merry Christmas Mike, enjoyed your video. Luzerne County is my home county (many years ago) but now live in Lycoming Cunty. Can't say I recognize the stream, but it did produce for you. Hope to catch more of your videos this coming up year. I just made a few videos of a small trib in Lycoming County if you care to check it out. Tight Lines
Len Sherlinski hey Len, thanks for saying hi. I watched that video of the stream in Lycoming. You’re catching a lot of fish in there for this time of year. That’s great. I enjoy Luzerne County, lots of water there.
Man your hookin up with that pink nymph . I'd buy 1 off you . just a silly question. Would it work on a regular trout rod and reel . normally dont get jealous but man i been jonesing for trout . looked like you had a freaking blast . Merry Christmas man!
Bahama Jim good question Jim, I don’t know if that would work on a regular rod or not. As long as you can’t get a decent drift with your line I don’t see why not. Not selling patterns right now but you can get a similar one from the guys at Lively Legz.
"No easy trail get in or out of here." Perfect place to fish then. No interloping ying yangs.
Love the videos. Keep em coming.

Appreciate the noise of the woods. Thanks for not putting a soundtrack down on these wonderful vids
Nice fish! Merry xmas!
Nice! Imagine what that place looks like in July, you would need a 2' rod....LOL!
Merry Christmas
Enjoyable as always! Merry Christmas. Thanks.
Jon Burgo thanks Jon! Merry Christmas.
Great catch. Going after the difficult trout in hard areas is where the adventure starts. I love exploring new areas plus good looking out for the garbage.
Christopher Cooper agreed Chris! Sometimes you gotta get tangled up in some trees to really appreciate the adventure! And yes, taking the garbage out!
There’s never a bad day of fishing. And when following the water we tend to make our own trail off the beaten path.
Nice looking creek. Always fun finding little gems like that off the beaten path. MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy New Year.
Merry Christmas! Another great video, thanks.
Brad Massilon thanks Brad! Merry Christmas to you!
Thanks Mike. What a wonderful Christmas surprise!!!!
Dongbo Wang you bet! Merry Christmas!

Thanks Mike for another great video. Merry Christmas to you and all the best for the new year.
Mike Smith thanks Mike as always, Merry Christmas!
Hey Mike. Nice. How high above the fly is the lightning strike indicator placed when fishing this skinny stream? Thanks Ken.
You have to wonder how many of these little streams in our great state are holding trout. Keep on exploring, man! Great video.
As always another high quality video of some beautiful native pennsylvania trout!! I Like your Pink Ferrari nymph and even tied up a few to try for myself!! Looking forward to your new videos in the upcoming year!! Happy New Year Woolybugged!!

What is "Blue-Lining" ? thanks for the great videos!!
Rankin Darby it means to fish streams that are unnamed, they are just a blue line on a map.
Great video as always Mike, and Merry Christmas to you. Appreciate your dedication to the sport and to helping other less proficient folks like yours truly by showing how it's done. Gary Ballard lots of surprises in those small creeks!
I work in the susquehannock state forest primarily in potter county, and its amazing how many balloons I find way out in the middle of nowhere.
Merry Christmas Michael, great video, I wish we had brookies here in MO.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Mike! God Bless you and may your 2019 fishing adventures be awesome. Tight Lines my friend.
Looks to be a nice day!! Pink is a good winter pattern on the Madison, A pink lighting bug would also be effective for Brook trout. Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas! Wishing you tight lines in the New Year and thanks for sharing your adventures.

another nice one. Thanks and Merry Christmas. And as a newbie I wonder how you keep your hands warm - looked up the brand you mentioned and will give a try.
jeb605 I always wear fingerless gloves this time of year and then I use YakTrax hand warmers.
Merry Christmas. Great video as usual. I was out the same day on a WTS just a little bigger, caught a few wild browns and one wild rainbow. I fish a Tenkara rod in tight streams. How effective is a float when set so far back from the fly in such skinny water?
Michael Capurso I find the float helpful for fishing the deeper water but not much help anywhere else.
good show. thank you
Merry Christmas and tight lines. It would be great to see one from Potter County. There are a lot of good blue lines up there, it is just hard to chose which one to fish. Can you show more tangles and flies in trees so us humps fell better? Lol. There was a WB wool hat under the tree this year. Merry Christmas. Hope it’s a fishy 2019.

The water was up and down with that stream, and as usual it is up again. Glad it is only minutes from the homestead, makes for easy access.
