What an amazing gun!! Definitely never seen anything of the sort. I've always been a fan of the Ruger 1 and its granddaddy the Farquharson, but I never realized there was a Siamese twin version!! I always enjoy your videos. Keep it up!!
There is always something majestic about the wood-to-metal fit in a beautifully crafted firearm. It reminds me a little of another gun I inherited from my father: not a falling block, but a French toggle-actioned Darne 12-bore shotgun.
The falling block really looks like a secure / strong action. Somehow to an non technical person even more strong and secure as an action than a turn bolt action. Dont understand why dont we see more of this type of action
Hi Asim - you're right : the falling blocks look and are extremely strong. I guess people like more than one shot - so they are not as common as other action types.
This would be a success in countries where semi auto is illegal - esp. if you could combine it with a magazine contains an extra 4 rounds, or something like that
@@UnitedStatesOfGuns check out ‘Fuchs Fine Guns’…they have a bolt action double rifle with a mag….the bolt loads 2 bullets at once! Love your channel btw sir, keep the videos coming 🙏👋
I ended up with a Ludwig Borovnik with Holland and Holland Hand Detachable Sidelocks Double Rifle in 9.3x74R. Another great Ferlach Rifle from a great maker. I couldn't wait any longer. Ha ha...😀
You show the most interesting firearms I've seen. Most I've never herd of but I really enjoy leading about them and getting to see them. Thanks

The Darne is very interesting. I had a 16 gauge that handled like a magic wand - silly of me to sell it.
You've got some very rare and beautiful firearms, well done!
Did not know a rifle like that existed. Beautiful work on the gun. Thanks for sharing.
My privilege : )
Wow ... i never see a double rifle like this. nice gun and the caliber is perfect for wildboar hunt .
Now I have to find the wildboar! Thanks Lars.
That is a beautiful rifle. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Beautiful rifle and nice review!
Thanks Flavio
Love your Videos , I've watched around 25 so far but I still don't know your name or what state you live in. keep em coming.
Thanks Jeff. More on the way.
I find it quite odd that most double barrels are break action, I think that falling block doubles would be superior in strength.
Hey - that's what I always thought. Those falling blocks are almost unbreakable.
Found Kalezky died in 1889 in Vienna, so that rifle was made before then, obviously
I think so, but plenty of Brownings made after he moved to a better world - I just don't know if anyone built Kaletzkys after he moved on.
Very cool. You're all set to hunt rhino! 🙂
I check the backyard every day! So far only starlings. : )
USOG 😃😃
and liked & commented I guess huh?
