- Some people wanted me to do a Hard Drive install video. I show how to do it, quick, and simple. Hope you enjoy! This is a great way to get more storage and cheaper than a SSD. I will be changed my CZcams name from Sweetlou Productions to PortzJ Tech. Let me know if you have any questions.

They do not come with all of them. I have a pc screw hardware kit from amazon that I use when things do not come with them

Make sure you have it formatted correctly and make sure to partition your hard drive

Need help. I installed a wd 500gb sata in my pavilion. It wouldn't show up at all. I unplugged it and redid it and still nothing. Can u help please

Make sure you have it formatted properly and that you partition the storage

On my motherboard there's sata0, sata1, and sata2. Will it make a difference on which sata cable I plug in on my motherboard

What inch is your hard drive shown in this video? Like, 2.5 or 3.5 inch? I'm getting a 3.5 inch hard drive.
3.5in is standard for desktop computers and 2.5 in is for laptops. In the video I was using 3.5 in hard drive.
How do you check if it’s working also could you zoom in
Go into your file explorer and check under drives

@@yxcflank3305 Make sure it is formatted correctly. You will need to partition the hard drive or your sdd. Make sure all drivers are up to date too
This might be a stupid question but I don't know anything about this. The screws that you need to screw to the sides of the hard drive. Do they come with the hard drive or?
Sometimes they do and other times they don’t. You can always order them off Amazon for a few bucks just search hdd screws

It is not a dumb question. You can have both a sdd and hdd in this pc at the same time.

Hi i subbed and liked vid. i have a question. i have same pc just wanna know if i were to buy the ST2000DMA08 one instead of the one you have and linked in the comments which is the ST2000DM008 is there any difference? one is at best buy and i can buy it right now which is the first one i wrote. plz lmk they both 3.5 inch one just say "MA08" the one you linked says "M008" thanks and awesome vid very informative :)

Hi, what can I do if ( not exactly this PC I Have hp tg01-0026nw ) my PC is overheating and fans are realy loud any ideas ?
apply some new thermal paste and clean your fans of any dust

Idk if it will help but i can buy better fans and get this pc into some silent case because this fans are working on 60 - 70 dB and its realy disturbing

what kind of motherboard and case can i get tp upgrade my HP its the same one as yours i just really want a new case and i seen ill need a new motherboard, what case with LED can i get and motherboard? i want to make sure it all fits right i alrady have a power supply tht will work please help me

I hooked up my hard drive and the pc won't recognize it when it's on only the base ssd is shown is the problem because of me or the cables that came with the pc
You will need to format that hard drive or partition the hard drive

Do the screws you put inside the hard drive to hold it in place come with the pc or hard drive or did you have to pick those up separately, and if so what screws are they?
Sometimes they come with the hard drive, if not search hard drive screws on amazon

aye bro, luv the vids always been a helpful hand. i got a question maybe a few. if you’d reply that’d b amazing, i’m planning on switching motherboards to avoid the limits down the road. so far i’ve changed my ram to 16, 3200mhz but now wanna switch my motherboard so then i can change cases,gpu, psu, all that good stuff. would i have to look for a motherboard compatible with my ryzen 5 3500? same with the gpu gddr5 would i have to get one with a gddr5 or a modern motherboard compatible w gddr5 and 6? sorry i’m a noob and thank you
You would have to match up the motherboard with cpu and the graphics card that comes with this pc should work, along with the ram

No you will not. It will stay on the nvme in the motherboard. If you swap the nvme out you will have to swap data over

After I Finished, I booted up my PC, and it just brings up “Hard Disk Error” me and my dad have been trouble shooting for hours and still can’t find a solution, does anyone by chance have any idea?
Sorry, for the late response. Make sure it is plugged in correctly, then format the new drive and install the partition on it if needed. Your hard drive may just be faulty also

Yes, it should come with them both if you bought it new. If you got it used someone may of removed them

You the power cable to power the hard drive or ssd. You also need the sata to connect those to the motherboard.

Just search Seagate barracuda on amazon and select the one you want. This one is older they have newer styles now

Ssd are great for gaming, but with 50 bucks you may not be able to get one with a lot of gbs. If you want mass storage like terabyte or more than you will want a hard drive. Just put your main games you play, on the ssd that comes with the computer

How do you enable the built in internet
Go to your taskbar in the bottom right corner, where it tells the time. To the left of that there should be a Wi-Fi icon click on it and connect to your Wi-Fi. If it is not there hover your mouse over to the left just little more till you see the symbol that looks like this ^ the arrow pointing up. It will say "show hidden icons" click that and your Wi-Fi icon will be there to click on.

Just plug a ethernet cable into the back of your pc and you'll have internet

Hdd should be quiet not completely quiet, but not making a loud noise. I would be careful and make sure its mounted properly

Make sure everything is seated properly and plugged in completely. If it still isn’t working, just return it to the stock form. Let me know if that works

@@PortzTech what type of seagate barracuda since some of the barracuda hard drives have different measurements for sata cables
The 2 TB is 7200 rpms and the higher TB ones are only 5400
What do you have to do to your computer after you install it?
@@ryankrumbach8247 Nothing just turn your computer on. It will be like as if you plugged a flash drive in, but your go into your file explorer and see it under this pc, towards the bottom it will be marked as a HDD of some sort

Yea, any hard drive you add will be added to your PCs total storage.
Example: If you put the 2tb hard drive in this computer, the 256gb sdd that comes with the computer will still be there. In total you would have the 2tb plus the 256 gb
