This may not seem like a big deal to some of you, but I'm super excited to FINALLY be upgrading my personal PC! I edit and game quite a bit with this rig, and I think it's finally time to give it a proper upgrade now that the graphics card market has cooled. Come along for the ride!

DO NOT FEEL BAD ABOUT BEING WHERE YOU ARE. you got there through your OWN hard work. And i dont speak for anyone but myself, if anyone deserves the most OP PC in existence. its you!
Seriously, considering the low GPU prices consider this a gift from us viewers to you! Don't feel guilty! Enjoy it!
100% Agreed.
I definitely second this since he always gives us awesome content that also practically helps teaches us to troubleshoot pc repair. He also helps others whenever he can. :D
Before we say so proudly on our OWN, we have to thank us first to our creator and the best of planners, the almighty God.
Not fair world ) :
There's no reason to feel bad about having access to parts like this. They send you parts because you've been successful in your chosen field. They aren't giving you parts just because you are a nice guy. You put in the work.
Greg, you are extremely humble and down to earth. You shouldn't feel guilty for showing us the product of your hard work.
Keep up the great work!
he drives a ferrari....
@@laloajuria4678 how is that relevant? I know people who donate half of their yearly income and still drive expensive cars.
@@laloajuria4678 what does that have to do with anything
@@laloajuria4678 sounds like a "whataboutism" comment to me. No comment.
@@laloajuria4678 libs
4:59 when you lift up the socket, it doesn't look like the cpu was all the way in and looked a little uneven on the left side. I could be wrong but it definitely didn't look right which could be why it didn't go down smoothly at first
I thought I was the only one. I was cringing the entire time lol
I also saw that, it gave a mini heartattack 🤣🤣
Same here... I was really cringing hard!
glad to see you treat yourself after all the times you've helped others!
Greg, you gotta build crazy shit for yourself, not only because it's actually for work and productivity tasks needs good hardware, we also get to live vicariously through you! You gotta make cool stuff and use it, don't feel like you have to hold back somehow. Flash that bling so we can behold it!
Hi Greg! Love all the vids. Hope your family is doing well.
Thanks for watching! Hope yours is well as well!
The best part of this video is that it is relatable about the upgrading procedure. You try your best to fit new components with as little unscrewing as possible until you are forced to remove some fans and such. Also it is so true that a lot of times working in a completed build gives more trouble than building a new one from scratch.
Greg, at 4.50mins we can clearly see the cpu didn't sit inside the socket well (i think the retention bracket is bent due to that) as well, But then again the pc posted. I would still like an update on that, please check it
He clearly notice because the pc didnt post at first like that,I know its embarrasing but at least can do a educational tip about that
Yay a CZcamsr who actually cares and have morals who knew that actually existed and this is why Greg is one of my favorites
What does this have to do with morals?
That's like saying you are not going to eat, because are people go days without eating.
@@konga382 agreed
That’s not really what I would call an ethical decision because people use the hardware they have and post about it since they need the hardware for their workflow and that’s how they make money
@@konga382 I never claimed a "moral" high-ground on this topic. And a single card "collecting dust" during a graphics card shortage wouldn't have changed _anything._ I find that argument laughable. We give away graphics cards, CPUs, and even entire builds quite frequently. My decision to wait was, IMO, justified. If ya disagree, well, cool.
@@GregSalazar I believe there's been a misunderstanding because I was responding more to the original post than trying to criticize you. I'll remove the post nonetheless because I meant no disrespect. Sorry, and keep up the good work.
Awesome upgrade, thanks for sharing! Loved watching
Amazing!!! You did great and you deserved this man. Hope to see more vids from you
I will say that most in the tech scene have a very high moral compass with extremely passionate standards. The fact that you waited just because you didn't want to "show off" to others who have been struggling is nothing less than admirable.
You've earned your new build and much respect.
he just bought a new car. calm down.
@@laloajuria4678 he worked for it so he deserves it
I used the same case for my build after watching your videos. Thank you for all the hard work ❤
I wish you all the fun you could have with your system!! Have a great time 🎉🎉
As a long term sub I’m happy to see how far you have came I’m happy to see the rig congrats! 🎉
So humble it characterise u exactly the way u seem to be in all the videos genuine u got my respect brother
What a dope personal rig! Rocking the same case and PSU.
Congrats on the upgrade and don't feell bad about it. You've really earned it after helping out so many of us with fixing and/or cleaning PCs or getting MSI to fix their AIO watercoolers and so much more you've done for the community.
Mate I enjoy your channel as you deal with what's within most people's means. Humble builds and help for others. Enjoy your upgrade 👍
That's a great looking build. Love the blacked out look
Very nice rig, Congrats!!!
Very humble to not want to throw stuff like that in peoples faces BUT I don’t think people would have minded. I mainly watch your channel for the escapism of building PC’s and doing stuff I can’t do myself! Good video!
Your setups so clean always
Honestly seeing you build with a card You own would have been just fine. People (Just like myself) must realize we aren't always gonna have the best items no matter how hard we work. It's a nice gesture and shows great character regardless. Great build too!
Great stuff Greg! Enjoy the upgrade!
just use what you got man, don't feel bad about that, you put your own time and effort to get this far, enjoy what you earned
I just upgraded to a 13700k on a Z690 and I LOVE it. Incredible performance
dont feel bad man its content and you are proud of it! be happy it inspires us to work hard and get better pc's as well!
excited for ya man you got to upgrade ! love the build
Hope for wonderful things for you ❤️❤️
Great video. Keep ‘em coming. Enjoy your upgrade
You deserve the upgrade, brother. It’s very nice. Congrats! 👌
congratulations and wish more success and be always the best ❤❤
What a great video, deserved upgrade! I just jumped to a 13900k as well from a 9900k. Updated to a 4090 only thing carried over was case, fans, PSU and some storage 🙌
Whoaa crazy that we have the same desktop background! Such a great space image.
nice upgrades dude!
Beautiful build Greggles! Beast of a machine. Treat her well. 😁
Greg this made me feel so much better about my recent Black Friday purchase because you got the same board! I'm in love with my new platform the only difference is I got an i7 13700KF and a 3090 but none the less it's still beast. I love watching all of these videos you put out because as a builder and maintenance pro myself "Been doing it since high school" you give very good advice and I love that I can send one of your videos for instruction and learning. Keep up the good work and never feel guilty of what you have as I know you have worked hard to get where you are especially if you have companies sending you their products for review. Keep on teaching.
You deserve it my friend. Come here to the Bahamas in 2023 🇧🇸
I hope u enjoy your new build
I am so happy to see you upgrade your pc. Because i finally manage to upgrade mine, 5800x3d, 3070ti good 4.0 ssd im so excited for you
I LOVE successful CZcamsrs who are down to earth and humble, that is a such a great gaming rig even though it's not the absolute best mega expensive parts, it speaks so highly of you. Keep the great work Greg 💪
Nice upgrade, you deserve it bud!
Man you are a legend. You deserve the best of components for your pc
Shouldn't ever feel bad. You do enough for the community. Dope rig!
Super Clean Greg!!!!!
So simple. Very clean. No RGB and I love it as much as you did
4:49 - "you've got to be very careful ... " - he says, while not being careful enough to notice the CPU isn't seated in the socket properly.
Greg I love the content!!! Wish I lived closer but I always enjoy your stuff. It’s helped me with my side gig of buying building and selling PCs. Im jealous of the new build lol but I’ll put in the work and get there one day as well.
Enjoy the new components man!
Yea. U deserve it brah. U work hard. And its part of your job! U should have the latest and greatest. 👍👍💯
Bout frikkin' time you treated yourself. Love the updated rig!
Nice Bro! I wish I had the means to do a build like that but I am actually satisfied with what I have.
That's cool. I'm actually looking at that same card for the near future
We've got that same Yamaha audio mixer in an edit suite at my work. Good choice!
Don't feel bad for rewarding yourself you make such great and informative content by watching your videos you I was able to build my own very first pc no where as powerful as yours due to the holidays my budget was small but I love it and love your videos keep up the great work and again thank you so much for everything you do
1:33 first time hearing youtuber said this. May you always happy Mr Salazar.
What a beast of a work horse. Looks great too.
I love how greg personal pc have one of the most if not the most organized cable management!
They actually do allow you to rotate the display on that in Armory Crate. I have the same AIO in that orientation. I will say the viewing angles are worse vertical but it looks cleaner that way. Orientation change should be under the display options. Not super noticeable though.
U rock Greg!
I agree I upgraded the motherboard, cpu and ram recently. It took so long because I had to gut my old build before being able to install the new build.
I’ve been watching a few of your videos the past few days for the first time and I finally decided to subscribe!
Don't feel bad about what GPU you have in your personal rig. Tbh I'm surprised you don't have a 4090 in there.
Right? I have a 3090, and make way less then him. But whatever, not everyone wants to spend the money on a higher rig, or the fastest.
Love the vids! My laptop just broke so watching these vids are nicw
Enjoy brother!! You deserve it, and it will help you get more content to us quicker.
Nice in October I switched from a RX 570 4GB and a I5 4590 to a I3 12100F and a RTX 2080 I get so many more frames now :) and I am giving the old build to my brother for xmas. Will finally be able to get him off the I3 8130U
I love the clean look of your pc
Well done and enjoy your new rig really enjoyed the video I can see your joy in putting it together please ignore the haters wales 🏴 uk
Congrats!
Enjoyed it! 👍
Love the video. For all you do for the folks of Orlando, you deserve a treat or two for yourself. Plus, this should save you some time on video editing times and get you back to your family sooner.
Give to me the dd4 memories, send to brazil :D
Hope as doing well!!
love your vids!
Don't ever feel guilty flaunting what you WORKED so hard to EARN. 🤟
love you greg, you really inspire me men dont change keep it humble ❤️
can't wait til you hit 1 million subs dude you truly deserve it
at 4:51 when you couldn't get cpu cap off the chip wasn't fully seated in the socket ..wow i was so supervised it worked
so humble. thank you
You are a legend Greg loving this build looks amazing 😁 I myself just recently upgraded to a RTX 3080 non Ti and loving it 😁
Nice build - hope it serves you well for a long time. :)
It's definitely a nice touch when you're particular about things like the lighting... I'm OCD when it comes to cable management and clean looks. Your videos never disappoint broski keep em' coming
Great choice in upgrades! i just upgraded to a 3080ti in my rig even though i was being told to wait to get the 4090. just go with what you want its your rig!!
Big points for using what you had, even though you had access to higher end stuff. Now, you ought to be able to whip out a dozen vids a week. And oh, your fan spinner is adorable.
Don’t feel bad man, you deserve it! May your temps be low and your frames high :)
Hey Greg, you're not alone about RGB software not working correctly. I also had issues getting it to work as well. I now use a free program called OpenRGB & it works pretty good. I also hear some use another one called SignalRGB & they have had better luck with that than what the manufacturer provides. Good luck on whatever you decide. Honestly, I personally just shut the RGB off most of the time but occasionally turn it on to check to see if my fans are actually spinning as it's pretty dark where I have my PC.
OpenRGB has been working great for my system as well!
I used open rgb for awhile but was not satisfied with it. Just got signal rgb and it is MILES better. The user interface is amazing and it can do much much more than openRGB. Would highly, highly reccomend it.
I love your humbleness
Bro I think anyone who is excited about their own build, by my standards, has a SICK build. As long as you're happy we're happy
Hey Greg, you might want to think about getting a Bending Corrector Frame, as the IHS tends to bend/warp over time on the 12th and 13th gen Intel CPUs due to the way the stock mechanism applies pressure unevenly. I’m using the one from Thermal Grizzly (figure I’m helping support Der8auer), but you can buy one from Thermalright for a lot less.
yoo greg, your case is so dark combine with settle light scheme is azmazing those 4 dram light really know how to get the job done and most importain detail "clean"
I have always appreciated your ethical approach to your content! Enjoy your beast build! You deserve it!
You are one of the last good guys, keep that up! Thank you!
Greg! Requesting a second (PT2) video for this build where you go through overclocking and general quality of life changes to your overall settings you do, and would recommend! Either way great video man keep it up!
Nice rig, hoping you've taken some time off to have fun with it ☺️
Hey Greg, as usual great content. Its about time you treat yourself to an upgrade.
Awesome and you should not feel guilty at all for all that you do for others and anybody who says otherwise is a POS! Keep up the great work!
I like the look of that aio
Got a 500 DX myself recently. The only thing I can gripe about is the all-or-nothing HDD bracket. It restricts the bottom fan if used, so I fabricated a mount for my storage drive.
Use what you have man it is cool we all know you will donate it down the road to save someone's pc. Your content is your job you're doing well and deserve to have what you worked for.
how nice was that !!!! not rubbing it in like other you tubers !!!! you have gone right up there in my estimations , not that you were not before i might add Greg 😉😉😉😉😉
