To those who are building this pc make sure you research which aliexpress Xeon combo you buy. The motherboard linked in this video only goes up to usb 2.0 and sata 2.0 Speeds. I reccomend using the qiyida combo which is shown in one of their other build guides. It has USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0

Well done guys, I really liked this one. Very solid build for the price. I definitely would go for an RX 5500XT vs the RX 580 due to the driver situation though.
I actually like acrylic cheap cases. mainly for weight reasons, not great for scratch resistance. But it is cheap, transparent and very light weight for 50$ or less. Zalman T7 on sale is one of my favorites(and its full size atx)
But they are flimsy 😂

In my opinion you should always try the M.2 slots first and if they don't work, change to the sata ones later
If you peek under the back cover, you'll find two more SATA SSD mounting options behind the motherboard. (visible at 14:04)

Would you mind adding power consumption stats to your videos? How much power do your builds consume during idle, how much under load? It wouldn't have to be some elaborate measuring setup, just the measuring devises you'd put on your wall plugs would suffice to get a good idea. It would be interesting to know. Especially with these more exotic AliExpress types of builds.

with these budget motherboards etc.. do they offer updates for drivers and bios etc.?
The case could be replaced with a Cooler Master Q300L for the same price; there's a version 2 for it but the first version is easier to find at that price. I had Q300L since my first build and only recently changed it, and it did the job and was great; sturdy but light, and the airflow was great if you don't mind fan whistling/noise that extra fans can have. Still, having a rx 580 build like this at this price is amazing!

Question about AliExpress coupons. Can i use the allonae code more than once by making multiple orders that total $100 or more? Example a GPU that is over $100 one order, mobo combo and cooling fan for over $100 second order. And so on. I would love to be able to take advantage of that $20 coupon if i can use it more than once.
Never buy offbrand PSU's, check the PSU tierlist, which features the best options divided into tiers. It is not worth the risk of damaging your components or burning your house down, just to safe a few bucks.

You can get performance equivalent of high end gaming pc just by upgrading your gpu as the cpu is very powerfully

So the board is MicroATX? I ask because I already have a MicroATX case but the website says nothing about the board being Micro so I assumed it’s ATX and won’t fit.

I just built a computer for my sisters and it was very very similar to this one.

It ended up being right around 300$ so I’m glad to my research and part choice was accurate since I’m just a 15 year old computer nerd.

@@boogerdropit does. 1080p Fortnite on performance settings I get 150+ fps at least and Minecraft is easy to run on most computers so you’ll get plenty of fps.

im getting a 206 dollar build for my bday im getting a rx 580 with 4 gb ram 35 dollar pc case 35 dollar power supply both from alixpress (400w) a keyboard and mouse bundle from temu and psu extensions for 10 dollars on amazon and a 60 dollar 100hz monitor from asus(sold on amazon) anything i should replace or add i only have like 210 to spend if so send me some links or tell me where to find it

Hard to beat what you're getting for the price. In all honesty, I would look for a used GTX 1070 or GTX 1660 Super for about the same price. Honestly that CPU should have enough juice to run a significantly more powerful GPU if anyone wanted to upgrade down the road.
A 1660, 2060/S, 2070 would work well in that computer I reckon, a 2060S has the around the same power draw as a 580 too, 9 series are still getting driver support so they'll be supporting Turin for a while yet as well. I use a 6 core {cheap} Zen 3 in a B450 with a 2060S and I don't think there would be much difference in gaming between that or this $270 build with my card in it.

There are still custom drivers for the RX580 cards. I have an RX580 2048sp in my spare PC and with custom drivers it is still running modern games fine.

@@jeffreygrindle6396 AMD did not "cut support" . You could still download drivers from AMD site, only they stopped updating them. Which, honestly, is not necessary as they were already polished trough years.
@@BREEZYM6015 If you're going for a budget card I'd likely go for the 1060 6GB. It may have less vRAM but it is still getting official driver support.
I got the RX580 8GB 2048 because one was available on Aliexpress for just £42 including delivery.

Ryzen 5000 series is vastly superior to this xeon even at 12 or 14 cores the the ryzen 5600x or ryzen 5700x is no joke about 45% to %50 faster IPC wise clock for clock and I know the toasty bros,know,this,aswell

I'm having this same thought. Any input to this question? Build this or do a 6th or 7th gen i5 HP Elitebook or Lenovo Thinkcentre??? I suspect many here will say add a graphics card to an Optiplex.
@@jeanpauloverton so for this, i used to have a optiplex with a basic Geforce 1060 card and it worked flawlessly for ps2, psp, and ps1 1080p , gamecube most games at 1080p. dreamcast and xbox worked but left something to be desired. personal opinion id just build one of these unless you can get your hands on a DIRT cheap optiplex (mine was free lol) you can get a little more power at a lower cost and more room for future upgrades by doing one of these mostly aliexpress builds. hope this helps guys!

Anyone know why when I move my mouse around in game the screen becomes super glitchy yet my frames are stable at 240fps? Tried different mouse and issue still persists
It's called screen tearing. You monitor may not support 240fps. In that case turn on vsync.
so the other day or 2 ago I found a cyberpower pc on my way to the store. And it was just sitting next to the trash, so I stopped what I was doing, I called my mom, and I told her what I had found and I brought it home with me. So now I'm going to see if it will power on once I install some RAM into it.

You could of gotten a Huananzhi B660M with i312100f cpu Cheap. Must faster. It also has future upgradability, pcie gen 4/5 and 1x nvme gen 4/5.

I too have a 270 dollar pc but it runs on integrated graphics from my r5 5600g
with ali you can have muchhhh perf gpu..
imo it’s not the best deal you could do when you can go for the 8GB RDNA1 cards like the 5500/5500XT. They still have official driver support and offer more power for not much more than a 2048, which at this rate, shouldn’t really be an option.
580 still has "official support". They simply stopped updating drivers for it.
